This service offers a modern, multi-platform solution for managing leave, with new capabilities for managers to visualize their team's leave requests.

Cons

We encountered two main challenges. Firstly, Edays could not handle the vast array of rota patterns in HSE initially, but with collaboration and adjustments, we sorted it out. Secondly, we had to ensure the application worked for adaptive equipment users, and Edays was encouraged to seek WCAG accreditation.

From my perspective as someone who administers the system, I find it quite easy to navigate and swiftly make fixes or locate what I need. If I encounter an issue or require changes I can not handle, our support team is always prompt in assisting me.

Cons

There are a few things this software cannot do that would be useful to our business. For instance, having more than one manager fully manage an employee, including the ability to cancel training or holidays.

Even though I am self-employed, the company I work for needs to track my absences, so I use Edays. It is very convenient to view the entire year and gain a clear understanding of everyone's holidays to avoid clashes.

Cons

Edays does not allow booking holidays with less than 14 days' notice - I think. But actually, it is a great idea as it gives companies time to find cover.
