Pros

Even though I am self-employed, the company I work for needs to track my absences, so I use Edays. It is very convenient to view the entire year and gain a clear understanding of everyone's holidays to avoid clashes.

Cons

Edays does not allow booking holidays with less than 14 days' notice - I think. But actually, it is a great idea as it gives companies time to find cover.

The ability to segment the company into teams and filter absences is invaluable. You can filter through various types of absences, such as annual leave, extra holidays, unpaid or sick days, with requests going through management approval, providing a comprehensive overview of the entire company.

Cons

I have not found an app for this software yet, but it would be really helpful if there was one, as it would streamline processes.

Setting up and using this system is a breeze and it is great value for money. It is significantly improved our previous manual processes.

Cons

It is easy for me to keep track of my team's holiday bookings and remaining allowance. Authorizing leave with another person is a breeze, and I can easily add sick days manually.

Cons

It would be perfect for me if the alternative authorizer, besides the primary one, could also receive email notifications whenever someone submits a holiday request, especially when my manager is away.
