The report module effectively produces accurate snapshots of project progress and provides various export options, including CSV, PDF, and HTML. I find the reports to be clear and easy to use.

Cons

I find that the submittals, work report, and RFI modules are not very functional and seem to be basic computer programs. They are not easy to use, and I often struggle to go through them, especially when it comes to tracking submittals. This process takes up a considerable amount of my time.

EADOC successfully customized their software to meet our needs for tracking a large horizontal project over a wide geographic area, which has proven to be invaluable for our project management efforts.

The software is very flexibleand easy to use. If you are familiar with construction documentation, you can typically learn how to navigate it quickly, usually within about an hour. The vendor support is also responsive and knowledgeable, offering excellent assistance whenever it is needed.

EADOC has significantly decreased our reliance on physical document copies and postal mail, although the savings we have seen have not entirely covered the costs of the system. We are optimistic that any inconveniences we have encountered with the system, which are common with any software, will be resolved over time.

We are using EADOC to manage two federal civil works projects with the goal of streamlining the submittal and approval process to enhance project efficiency. Although we faced some challenges during the initial setup, the implementation went relatively smoothly, and users adapted to the platform without much difficulty. Initially, the terminology created some confusion, but once users understood the basics of the EADOC system, it became intuitive to use. However, we have run into a limitation with printing individual project documents in a single batch, which requires us to implement additional manual processes for official filing. Despite this issue, EADOC effectively maintains and retrieves our electronic documents.
