The report module efficiently generates accurate snapshots of project progress and offers export options such as CSV, PDF, and HTML. The reports are straightforward and easy to navigate.

Cons

The submittals, work report, and RFI modules are lacking in functionality and resemble rudimentary computer programs. They are not user-friendly and navigating through them is challenging, particularly when tracking submittals, which consumes a significant amount of time.

EADOC has reduced our need for physical document copies and postal mail, although the cost savings haven't completely offset the system's expense. We anticipate that any inconveniences experienced with the system, typical of any software, will be addressed over time.

Cons

Regarding submittals, this system is ill-suited to our government office's requirements and appears underdeveloped, resembling a primitive computer program. The cost-benefit ratio is disproportionately high, and managing submittals through the system demands excessive time and effort. However, the issues causing these inefficiencies could be easily rectified with improvements to the software.

Pros

We utilize EADOC for managing two federal civil works projects, aiming to streamline the submittal and approval process for improved project efficiency. While there were some setup challenges initially, implementation proceeded relatively smoothly, and users adapted to the platform without difficulty. While the terminology initially caused confusion, once users grasp the basics of the EADOC system, it becomes intuitive. However, we've encountered a limitation regarding printing individual project documents in a single batch, necessitating additional manual processes for official filing. Despite this, EADOC adequately maintains and retrieves electronic documents.

Initially, I found the software somewhat simplistic and unsophisticated in appearance. However, with continued use, I've come to appreciate its simplicity and intuitiveness compared to other document management software like NewForma, Basecamp, and iBuild. EADOC provides just the necessary tools without unnecessary complexity. Although I haven't utilized the customer support feature, I'm confident in its effectiveness.
