Excellent Software Solution
Pros

The system is user-friendly and easy to set up, with quick onboarding after a demo. It efficiently tracks consultant fees and project invoices.

Cons

The ability to track proposals versus active projects is a desired feature, and the anticipation is that it will be available soon.

Over all happiness with Factor
Pros

Factor AE offers a centralized platform for tracking employee and project time, managing project budgets, and generating accurate invoices without complexity. It's particularly well-suited for smaller offices with creative teams.

Cons

Creating reports tailored to specific needs has sometimes been challenging in Factor. However, the support staff has been helpful in addressing these challenges. Like with any software, there are limitations, but workaround solutions can often be found.

Simple yet Powerful
Pros

Factor stands out for its ease of use compared to other software in the A/E industry, which can be cumbersome. The support is excellent, and invoices and reports can be customized to fit the firm's needs, a significant improvement over previous software.

Cons

One feature missing is the automatic pushing of employee reimbursable expenses to be paid bills, as was done in the previous software. Currently, an expense report must be run in Factor, and then the expenses must be paid manually in QuickBooks. This change in process may take some adjustment but could ultimately be preferred.
