“adaptive accounting with tutorials”
Pros
This feels like the most simple accounting software I've used. Even though it's packed with features that could seem overwhelming at first, everything is presented in a really adaptive way and it includes clear directions plus tutorials that walk you through it.
Cons
Despite the strong feature set, I do wish there were a couple more options. The limit of 25 customers per month on the entry tier is a bit restrictive for my needs but that's more about my budget than a problem with the software itself.

“strong for invoicing and support”
Pros
It's a really solid fit for medium-sized enterprises and a simple bookkeeper can use it without much trouble. You also get a good range of invoice templates to choose from and customer service has been genuinely helpful.
Cons
At first, it was missing features like bank reconciliations and journal entries. That said, the team has since updated the software and improved those parts quite a bit.

“clean time tracking and billing”
Pros
You can easily track your time and assign it to the right project and customer. It genuinely makes invoicing quicker and more accurate. You just hit the start timer and the clock begins. If you need to step away for a break or jump on a call, you can pause and then resume right where you left off. Once you're done, you simply submit the time entry, choose the project (or create a new one) and add the customer and it gets attached for billing later. Near the end of a project, you get a clear breakdown of everything you spent time on and you can bill all of it or only specific portions.
Cons
Compared to an earlier version, the timer behavior is a downgrade: you used to be able to run multiple timers at once which was handy when bouncing between projects during the day. The current version also feels a bit more tiring when it comes to expense importing. I haven't fully used the feature yet but just finding the expense-related areas seems less noticeable than before, in the old version it was right in your face and nudged you to update, whereas now you have to go looking for it.

“useful reporting, manual time entry”
Pros
The reporting is solid and there are plenty of customization options to fit different needs.
Cons
Time entry is where it gets frustrating, there's no option to copy last week's input into a new time entry. Even when your schedule is basically identical week to week, you end up entering everything manually which is a real hassle.

“time tracking and invoicing setup”
Pros
It's pretty simple to use and configure for time capture and invoicing. Once it's set up, managing your entries and turning them into invoices feels simple.
Cons
The accounting side isn't as strong as it could be but for day-to-day work it's solid. I'm able to produce most of the reports my accountant asks for.

“quick invoicing plus great mobile access”
Pros
This accounting software feels way better than QuickBooks for my setup. It's simple to use both in the office and while I'm on the go and invoicing is genuinely quick, everything stays organized and easy to track. The mobile app is also a big plus for keeping up with tasks wherever you are.
Cons
It would be even better if day deposits were supported instead of having to follow the usual processing time frames. I'd also like built in auto-message templates with dynamic fields so I wouldn't have to customize every message from scratch each time.

“all-in-one invoicing and accounting”
Pros
Love that it is a full accounting solution built for small businesses. The features come together in a really solid package and it genuinely helped organize invoicing and managing receivables, cutting out a ton of manual legwork. Everything also works smoothly across devices which is a big plus when you're handling things on the go.
Cons
UI takes a little getting used to at the start so there's a short learning curve.

“cloud access and strong reporting”
Pros
Using it for a while, the standout feature is that it's fully web-based. That means you can manage your finances from anywhere in the world without being tied to one device or location. The reporting tools are also a highlight, this is one of the best reporting systems I've worked with. With a solid set of filters, it's simple to pull timely, accurate reports whenever you need them.
Cons
A downside is that it only works when you're connected to the internet. Since there's no offline mode, it can be inconvenient if you're traveling or trying to work on a plane or in areas with no connection. In those situations, you simply can't keep working the way you would with offline capable software.

“collaboration tools and customer focus”
Pros
Really shows how much it cares about delivering a solid experience for everyone. The collaboration features, project management and estimates make it much easier to handle team work and coordinate tasks. If you're running a professional setup and juggling multiple aspects of your business, this is the kind of software I'd pick. The menus also feel intelligently structured, with a bit of responsive, dynamic behavior that makes navigation smoother.
Cons
Customer records can't be expanded which limits how much detail you can quickly access. It should improve this so it's easier to view more information for certain transactions without extra steps.

“user-license limits and feature gaps”
Pros
The interface feels simple to navigate and customer support has been pretty quick and responsive whenever I needed help.
Cons
Accounting features seem somewhat limited and that's genuinely worrying for my use case. Also, every plan includes only a single user license which doesn't fit well if more than one person needs access.

“bank linking, smart categorization”
Pros
Linking my bank account is super useful, purchases get tracked automatically and I can categorize them however I want which makes tax season feel way less painful. The Chrome plugin is also a great help for my workflow since it reminds me to log time while I'm working on my computer.
Cons
Chrome plugin and the mobile app can be pretty flaky. They frequently cause problems and make me shut down Chrome or the phone app while I'm tracking time and that's really frustrating when the logged time doesn't stick. It would also help a lot if it could group hours by the same client/project automatically so I wouldn't have to manually compile categories at the end of each month just to see total hours.

“Great invoicing and tracking”
Pros
When I'm juggling freelance work, it is my go-to for managing the accounting side of things. The invoicing and time tracking are simple enough that I can spend more time on the actual projects and less time worrying about admin. I've also noticed it includes more project management features than a few other accounting tools I've tried. Also, the mobile app is solid which helps a lot when I need to capture and track expenses while I'm away from my desk. One more thing I really appreciate is the ability to see whether customers have viewed their invoices, useful context even before payments come in.
Cons
If your team grows beyond a couple of people, you may feel like it doesn't cover everything you'd want. The updated version removed inventory tracking which was one of my favorite parts from the earlier version. Still, for the cost, it delivers the core invoicing functionality most freelancers realistically need.

“recurring invoices, sharp price hikes”
Pros
It's simple to use and it handles recurring invoices really well which made billing much more manageable for us.
Cons
Once you're an established customer, the pricing jumps dramatically, our costs went up 67% over the past year even though we didn't change anything. Also, we've started getting sales calls from it trying to push third-party services which has been pretty annoying.

“organized expense tracking and invoicing”
Pros
Love how flexible it is for logging all my expenses in a clean organized way and how quickly I can pull up the right details when it's time to prepare tax reports. It also makes it simple to create estimates and invoices, including options for taking payments and setting clear due dates.
Cons
An annoyance is how it handles rounding when I enter numbers... sometimes it rounds up or down for expenses which can be slightly off.

“timer, add time & invoices”
Pros
This has been working really well for me. I like that I can track my time by either setting a timer or simply adding time manually. Also, it lets me use the calendar when I want but I can also set up an invoice directly without jumping through extra steps.

“clean invoicing and tracking”
Pros
Has a clean, user-friendly interface that works really well for sending invoices and keeping track of expenses. The time tracking is probably the simplest and most adaptive I've used so far, It just makes sense without a lot of effort.
Cons

“fast, clean invoicing with live support”
Pros
I like using it and the live support is honestly the standout. You get real people who know what they're doing and work hard to resolve things quickly. I'm also using it for time tracking and it connects with Asana which keeps my workflow in sync. Also, I like the level of control, everything from managing late fees to checking whether a client has viewed an invoice, plus filtered search options.
Cons
What I'm still hoping for is more accounting depth basically QuickBooks style features so I can fully move away from QuickBooks. At the moment it doesn't handle checkbook balancing and accounts the way QB does which is a bit of a letdown but I'm expecting improvements over time.
