Amazing support team!
Pros

The platform is extremely user-friendly and gives us better control over all aspects of a job. It is entirely customizable, and the automation has greatly reduced our workload. Setting up everything correctly from the outset was essential to this success. The help we got from the FP staff was exceptional.

Cons

A few of our clients choose to assign many purchase orders and estimates to what is essentially just one work. We have to construct a project for each of them, although it can be difficult to tell which job number is being discussed. Could you have several active estimates for one task?

Pros

FunctionPoint has expanded alongside us as we have as a business. When I have a query, their support staff is quick to respond, and I am confident that their team will be there for me. Its wonderful to see how interested they are in getting customer input. Exceptional feedback rate.

Cons

Most issues are unique to our company model. Wed like further customization of connections and businesses so that we can track information more precisely. We currently operate two CRMs, FP, and Salesforce. If you combined them, it would be wonderful. More information about clients initiatives is something we would want.

Highly adaptive.
Pros

We adore its capacity to have grand projects to which specific occupations are connected. We also appreciate the systems capacity to manage postponed payments and deposits. The development teams attention to user demands is another thing I appreciate.

Cons

The reporting features, in my opinion, could be enhanced. They provide excellent reports for accessing detailed data, however, they dont have the specific data I need in a report. However, users can download information from reports to spreadsheets so that it can be organized in a report of their choosing.

Good ERP for marketing agencies
Pros

I love the simplicity of time tracking against specific jobs, service lines, and tasks. I can do finance and project/task management tracking on a single platform. Data can be automatically transferred from an estimate to a full-time job, which saves a lot of time.

Cons

Changing the assigned persons from a certain task is so complex that we avoid changing anyone once a project starts. They should also add quick search options.

Good tool for productivity.
Pros

A lovely software through and through. Cannot complain much really. The user interface is fantastic and so simple that our creatives really utilize it to log their time. It also back ends into Quickbooks to simplify AP and AR and provides the necessary information for account services and project management.

Cons

As previously mentioned, there is not a lot to complain about this software entirely. If the software could monitor time more accurately, I could more readily view things like PTO, overtime, etc., at a glance. I wont need to spend money on additional software to track employee time that way.

Function Point revolutionizes project and operational management for agencies and production companies. It has significantly benefited our business particularly in navigating challenging situations such as the pandemic remote work and new sales structures. Switching to Function Point as our project management system has been the most impactful decision leading to increased profitability and employee satisfaction. The software provides a wealth of usable reliable and readable data supported by topnotch customer experience and support making it the perfect choice for busy creative agencies.

Cons

While Function Point offers numerous advantages there are a few areas that could be improved. The absence of reviewing software and the complexity involved in reassigning tasks or changing dates are notable challenges. Additionally the software lacks a seamless communication tab quick search functionality and intuitive system for account and project managers to monitor multiple projects and individuals simultaneously.

Function Point's onboarding and customer service teams have been exceptional providing great support throughout our experience. The checkins conducted by the Function Point team to ensure maximum usefulness for our company have been highly appreciated. Any technical issues encountered were promptly resolved demonstrating their commitment to speedy resolutions.

Cons

While Function Point offers numerous benefits there is room for improvement in its reporting features. While the software provides comprehensive reports for granular data some specific information required by users may not be available. However users do have the option to download data from reports and arrange it in their preferred format using spreadsheets.

Can Be Challenging to Collaborate with CoWorkers

Function Point offers a wide range of project management capabilities covering a broad spectrum of tasks. The integration of timesheets and projects in a single platform makes it convenient to label tasks throughout the day providing ease of use and organization.

Cons

The structure of Function Point can be limiting when it comes to organizing tasks and collaborating with coworkers. The project structure is quite broad making it difficult to create subtasks for better organization. It also lacks a comprehensive view of the status of other people's tasks within the same project. The collaboration aspect requires filtering by individual names and scanning through their tasks which can be challenging.

Function Point impresses with its extensive range of features that cater to project management time management budgeting supplier management and more. The software's integration capabilities and continuous improvement through new features keep it competitive in the industry despite its relatively lower prevalence.

Cons

Function Point could benefit from better visibility for task management particularly in an agilefriendly manner such as a sticky notes view. Additionally agencies working across multiple countries would appreciate support for multiple currency integration which is currently missing.

This Has Changed Our Business
Pros

Function Point has been instrumental in transforming our business. The customizable dashboard and userfriendly interface make it easy to perform various tasks. We use it for time tracking project notes client design briefs and more. It has become an essential tool in our daily operations allowing clients to submit design requests and share project examples facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.

Cons

While Function Point offers great features there are minor areas for improvement. For example on the timesheet the display of actual hours over estimated hours disappears after entering hours requiring users to navigate to a different section to check their progress. However the support team has been responsive and assured us that they are working on fixing this issue along with other site enhancements.
