“Includes amazing features”

Pros

Everything feels very easy to use and the overall features across the platform are truly amazing in my opinion.

Cons

The only real downside is that customer support could be better and that's pretty much it.

If I compare it with GitHub this one feels better suited when you want built-in CI/CD, security testing and project management all in one place.

Cons

Web interface can feel a bit slow at times and pipelines are occasionally sluggish too.

Pros

Managing projects from the idea stage all the way through execution feels really easy with this software. Being able to collaborate with my team and assign tasks directly inside the platform makes everything much more convenient.

I don't have any complaints. I can definitely see myself continuing to use this software for a long time.

Having everything in one place makes this a really strong DevOps platform. The version control and issue tracking features work very well together and make collaboration much more effective across different team members.

Performance can get slower with large repositories and more complex pipelines. It can also take beginners a bit of time to get comfortable because the learning phase is somewhat challenging.

Pros

This platform has been a very effective management and collaboration tool for our team. It gives us a secure environment to work in while also helping us identify vulnerabilities. We can keep track of code changes without any trouble and roll back bugs when needed. The workflow is clear and agile because tasks can be organized into labeled columns which makes everything easier to follow. It also lets us automate software testing and deployment which has improved our delivery times. On top of that, the automated testing helps us maintain strong software quality.

Cons

We really haven't run into any issues with this platform. It has been efficient and has worked properly the whole time.

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how supportive their community is when it comes to resolving queries, troubleshooting errors and working together on projects. It also fits well into CI/CD pipelines which helps managing development and improve overall team productivity. Another big plus is the deployment flexibility since it's available both as an on-premise solution and as a SaaS offering.

Cons

Getting started as a newcomer is quite challenging because a lot of learning is required. On top of that it is a very expensive product and there are times when performance issues come up.

What I appreciate most is the complete CI/CD feature which lets code be integrated and deployed without hassle.

Cons

I don't have any complaint because having code management, version control and the CI/CD pipelines all in one place in this software has really organized my workflow.

Handling code check-ins, check-outs, commits and tracing code logs has been really enjoyable with this tool. It's been the best option for me and I genuinely love using it.

I especially prefer the web version of it so there really isn't anything I like least about it.

“User friendly software”

Pros

It has been one of the most user-friendly tools I've worked with. It does much more than just manage Git repositories, offering a full package with version control, issue tracking and collaboration features all in one place. Another part I really appreciate is the flexibility especially the level of control it gives over data.

Cons

Paid plans are a bit expensive in my opinion and sometimes the platform becomes a bit slow to load and the SSO feature still has room for improvement.

Pros

Community of this tool is really extensive so it's pretty easy for me to find answers, join discussions and get useful information when questions come up. It also does a very good job with source code compliance, CI/CD planning and security scanning which makes development and deployment workflows much more effective. On top of that, it's an amazing platform for managing projects, implementing processes and tracking software performance efficiently.

Cons

Platform's performance can slow down depending on the number of users actively using it. There's also a bit of a learning difficulty especially for someone who is just getting started with it for the first time. Another downside is that once you move toward the advanced or enterprise-level features, the pricing can become quite expensive.

Working with teams feels fast and collaborative with this software and it supports deeper interaction really well.

Cons

There are no major issues to point out though it could be even better with more tools for exchanging ideas and information.

Provides me with everything I need for software development in one place. Managing code, working with teammates and automating parts of the workflow all feel very simple so it fits really well into my day-to-day work.

Even though it can be a bit slow at times but its not a major issue. Aside from that it's still a good tool for developers.

This software is very easy to understand. There's a helpful tutorial when you first open it and even without going through it the platform is still simple to pick up and learn quickly.

A few features are only available with payment and I'd rather have a trial or sample test first before deciding to pay for them.

It's quite technical and not especially user-friendly.

It's a really great way to build coding projects while collaborating with teammates and it makes working together feel much more connected and productive.

It allows only a certain number of people to collaborate on the same project at once and I believe the cap is 10 which is a limitation

Using it has been very easy and GitLab CI is a big plus. It's also simple to start discussions directly on pull requests which makes our collaborations much better.

Pros

The security features are strong, the on-premise setup is a big advantage and the CI/CD capabilities are quite good. It works especially well for larger teams.

Cons

The UI and UX are not very appealing and running the on-premise version can get pretty expensive. It also offers fewer integrations than GitHub and is not a very good fit for smaller teams.
