Navigating the platform is effortless and the files are locked to prevent version conflicts. The preview function works seamlessly for Word documents and PDFs
Cons
Excel documents don't display well in preview mode, needing the use of desktop connect which adds extra steps every time a document is opened (which is a downside). Sometimes, if the connection times out, work can be lost, and occasionally the connection doesn't work at all, necessitating the download and reload of documents.

This process was time consuming and not as successful as we desired. However since implementing Glasscubes this tax year we have already saved approximately 288 hours of resources. It would be much better to receive one bulk email listing all the uploads made in the past 10 minutes or so. One email with a list of 40 uploads is preferable to 40 emails stating one thing each.

After many years of experience with this system/product I can honestly and genuinely recommend it. I have been using and administering the system for over 7 years and have not encountered any glitches or downtime. The teams response to queries and issues is prompt and problems are resolved quickly. They are also open to additional features and development.
Cons
We had to come to an understanding with the finance team of GlassCubes because in the NHS it takes us a while to pay invoices and sometimes we can't react quickly enough due to internal processes.
