Newbie Experience with Glasscubes in a Consulting Environment

Pros

We were in need of a service that met the following criteria, Quick and easy setup, Minimal learning curve with user friendly interface, Affordable setup and maintenance, Professional and effortless portal for clients and Excellent and responsive customer support. Glasscubes fulfills all these requirements and much more.

Cons

I have not encountered any issues yet. Glasscubes is user friendly has a professional appearance, clients love it and the customer support is excellent!

I use Glasscubes everyday

Pros

I rely on Glasscubes daily to manage multiple projects and client work processes. As a consultant it helps me present an organized plan, maintain clear communication and document all project aspects. The customer service is exceptional. Among similar products I have used Glasscubes is by far the most intuitive and useful.

Cons

Its a bit inconvenient having to save twice once when assigning a task and then again when assigning a due date.

Stellar Ease of Use

Pros

Glasscubes is very user friendly and intuitive making it easy to introduce new users to the system.

Cons

There is not much to dislike about Glasscubes so my biggest complaint is that it won't fold my laundry for me.

Easy to use

Pros

Its user friendly and my colleagues receive instant notifications for new comments or tasks. Uploading any type of file is a breeze.

Cons

A great tool for big organisations with different access levels

Pros

The management of users and teams is highly efficient making it easy to keep access rights up to date. The platforms functionalities continue to grow.

Cons

It takes a bit of time to become fully familiar with all the functions. Some functions should be integrated instead of being add ons and an internal chat function is missing.

Quick and easy to use

Pros

It simplifies the complexity that often comes with other portal websites. Uploading and downloading files is fast and hassle free without the excessive data input required by some platforms. Navigating the file structure is easy and email notifications for updated drawings make accessing the latest information quick and straightforward.

Cons

There are no disadvantages. Glasscubes does exactly what it needs to do for my role and interaction with it.

Simple, secure and accessible

Pros

For over 2 years we have been using Glasscubes to manage bid development and project documentation. The features that work exceptionally well for us include web based access, enabling staff from multiple locations to connect even those working remotely. The version control, seamless document download/upload and detailed audit trail greatly support our workflow. The ability to message users regarding document updates or required input is invaluable during fast paced bid development. Additionally the administration tasks, such as setting up workspaces and managing user access are effortlessly accomplished in seconds.

Cons

With over 50 folders now it would be easier to navigate if they were displayed by group instead of in a single list.

Robust & easy to use

Pros

Glasscubes is a robust and intuitive platform. It makes sure reliable synchronization of versions, online editing and version control. Sharing links with individuals outside my organization is effortless.

Cons

It would be great to have the option for multiple users to edit simultaneously or at least have the option to do so.

A very useful and user friendly platform

Pros

There are multiple pros of using Glass cubes but what stands out the most is how effortlessly I can use the platform without any formal introduction or training. It provides a range of facilities and features that give me full control over my account and platform.

Cons

I am keenly anticipating the use of video conferencing, which is one of the features I am looking forward to on Glasscubes.

Great Collaboration Tool!

Pros

Uploading documents for sharing, reviewing and collaboration is a smooth process with Glasscubes. The document storage and file/folder creation features are excellent, as is the desktop approval/review process.

Cons

There are some issues with approvals when using an iPhone.

Game Changer

Pros

Glasscubes simplifies work processes and ensures everyone stays informed about tasks. Tagging colleagues is simple (as is untagging when necessary) and email notifications keep everything up to date. The platforms ease of use allows for customized workflows for different colleagues or departments. The platform administrators are open to suggestions and have implemented changes to enhance our workflow. I would definitely recommend it.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons. It would be nice to have automatic creation of job numbers.

Glasscubes is a unified platform for all stakeholders involved in the project to track documentation from the three African universities participating in the project.
