“excellent issue tracking”
Pros
After using this product for several years, it's become one of those tools you honestly can't imagine working without. The fault reporting and tracking capabilities are outstanding, easily among the best I've used. The workflow feels very simple and it's flexible enough that you can rely on it with real confidence.
Cons
If I had to identify one area for improvement, it would be screenshot handling. I'd prefer being able to insert screenshots directly into issue descriptions rather than attaching them separately.

“keeps everyone aligned”
Pros
The platform looks polished, new features are released regularly and there's a lot of room to customize it. It does a really good job of keeping everyone aligned and informed and the custom workflows are especially useful.
Cons
Cost is definitely one of the main concerns I have and I also wish the platform included built-in timeline views instead of relying on additional solutions.

“helpful for project tracking”
Pros
This has been a really effective way to keep track of both issues and the projects I'm involved in. It lets you structure content however works best which makes it valuable as a company-wide tool for coordinating with other teams and keeping tabs on issue and project progress.
Cons
My first impression was that the platform looked somewhat overwhelming because of its complexity. However, after a brief walkthrough from our administrators, I found it much easier to use and appreciate.

“flexible workflow setup”
Pros
There are a lot of features and admins can turn them on depending on what the team needs. You can set up a backlog board and also define the stages for a workflow based on how your process works.
Cons
As a first-time user, I found the learning curve fairly steep. Compared to platforms like Monday.com, this software requires more training before I felt completely comfortable using it.

“reliable bug tracking”
Pros
Using it has been very easy and it works really well as a bug tracking tool. The visibility it gives to different collaborators is also a big plus and makes teamwork much better.
Cons
Navigating the newer version took a little getting used to. Some features are not immediately obvious so I spent some time learning where everything was located and how it worked.

“widely used tool”
Pros
Across a lot of IT companies, this tool is already widely used so when you move to another team or join a new company, there's a good chance you'll already be familiar with it. Sharing images is also really simple and the interface looks clean and modern. I also really appreciate the number of case statuses available and how much you can customize them.
Cons
People usually need some training before they can start using it properly. At times, it can also be a bit difficult to locate the projects or tasks that have been assigned to you.

“keeps teams coordinated”
Pros
Keeping team members aligned across multiple projects is where this really shines. It does a good job of helping coordinate tasks and making sure everyone knows what needs to be done.
Cons
There's quite a bit of lag and the setup feels far more complicated than it should be.

“useful task breakdowns”
Pros
The interface works well and the employee role setup is very helpful. Being able to add subtasks and break larger jobs into smaller pieces makes task management much more practical. I also appreciate the real-time updates and the way tasks can be marked as done right away.
Cons
It would be even better with a stronger team conversation tool something along the lines of Slack for different groups. More integrations with services like Google Docs would also make the platform more useful.

“great for daily standups”
Pros
Every morning, our team relies on the Kanban task view for company-wide standups and it has become a core part of how we stay aligned. We built a custom board with cards showing budget, due dates, time spent and other key details and it has been incredibly valuable during COVID-19 while everyone has been working remotely and trying to stay connected. Tempo time logging has a few buggy spots but it has still been essential for keeping a clear picture of task progress and budget tracking. The time logging features are very dependable overall and give both admins and users exactly the right level of editing control.
Cons
A major frustration is that only one user can be assigned to an issue at a time. That becomes especially inconvenient when creating issues for meetings since the whole point is to have a shared issue where people can log time. Our company has also struggled to standardize and unify project structure because the setup process comes with a steep learning curve and we manage a large number of active projects. Functionality can vary quite a bit from one project to another and I think a lot of that comes from how complex project setup and maintenance can be. Although the platform is clearly built with developers in mind and many of our developers enjoy using it, it feels a bit less suited to designers, strategists and the project management side of the team. I also miss being able to export certain reports I need, such as a easy Estimates vs. Actuals report in CSV format.

“better task prioritization”
Pros
This tool has given my development team a great way to track the status of each task and prioritize the timeline better.
Cons
It still isn't really integrated with ServiceNow and if that integration were added, or if it could eliminate the need for ServiceNow altogether, it would be even better.

“flexible for agile teams”
Pros
Feature I appreciate most is how flexible it is. It fits really well with agile development and a standard sprint workflow. Creating tickets for bugs, feature requests or any other kind of task is quick and it's simple to assign them to the right person and keep track of the follow-up.
Cons
At the beginning, it can feel pretty overwhelming because there are so many features packed into it. On top of that, the UI tends to be very slow.

“powerful project management toolkit”
Pros
It comes with a very broad set of features for project management, tracking and team collaboration. Since it's widely adopted, it's also pretty easy to find people who already know how to use it.
Cons
Product management side isn't particularly strong. That can be a real issue for product-focused companies because Product and Engineering teams usually prefer not to work in separate tools. Pricing also starts to feel expensive as the team grows.

“perfect updates and change tracking”
Pros
It packs in so much functionality that knowing how to use it almost feels like a job skill on its own. I really appreciate the update notifications and the ability to review every change that was made. It's an impressive product and honestly I could keep praising it for a long time.
Cons
One ongoing frustration is that our instance has a lot of custom fields and exporting issues to other accounts is a real hassle. When an export happens, those custom fields should come over too instead of forcing everything to be recreated manually. Another missing feature is dark mode. That one doesn't bother me much personally but plenty of other people complain about it. I'm also not a fan of the keyboard shortcuts. I hit them by accident fairly often and end up assigning or cloning an issue by mistake which then triggers emails to other people at my organization. It would be helpful if the system held off on notifications when a setting is reversed right away though I know that may not be simple to handle. The last problem is with the issue edit dialog which occasionally breaks. When that happens, I have to refresh the page and lose whatever I had already written.

“flexible boards for any project”
Pros
One thing that really works well is the amount of customization available. You can tailor the board to fit exactly what you need, no matter what kind of project you're working on.
Cons
It's a minor issue but it's still possible to create tickets or tasks on the wrong board without realizing it. For instance, you might be working in one board, create a new task and somehow it ends up getting placed on a completely different board.

“strong team setup control”
Pros
What stands out is how well you can configure settings across teams and boards. It makes a big difference when you want to keep ways of working aligned between teams without everyone drifting in different directions and it lets you set things up properly once instead of repeating the same work. That has helped us stay productive and also made our work much more transparent across the company.
Cons
The product carries a lot of legacy baggage especially when it comes to configuration. It is not always very simple and in some cases it feels limiting unless you move over to their next-gen products. Those newer products are promising and good in some ways but right now they still feel pretty basic especially around workflows and other configuration options.

“powerful hub for dev teams”
Pros
It's basically a one-stop place for software project management. I've tested a few competing tools over the years but I always end up coming back because the feature set is so complete and the way it connects with the rest of the suite makes it a really valuable tool for any development team.
Cons
Getting started can be confusing and there's definitely a steep learning curve for team members who haven't used project management software before.
