“great start but awkward flow”
Pros
As a starting point for managing support requests, this software is really fantastic. That said, the configuration isn't entirely easy and takes some effort to get right.
Cons
Creating new workflows feels far too mechanical and for practically every step we still need a sysadmin involved especially when connecting with Active Directory and the domain.

“complete toolkit”
Pros
This feels like a complete, powerful platform. Honestly, I couldn't ask for much more and it's clearly better than other project management tools I've used before.
Cons
It does take some time to learn and get set up properly since you really need to understand the jargon and the finer details of agile project management.

“quick adoption”
Pros
Our team was able to get into the software right away and start using it without much ramp-up. Everything was clear enough that they understood how it worked and could begin their tasks immediately. Even though we didn't have to explore the platform in depth, the core features on the surface were enough to get us up and running quickly.
Cons
One area that gave us a bit of trouble was the bug reporting and fix process. After launching the program some bug reports didn't reach us until later than they should have which meant a few issues were caught too late.

“helpful history tracking”
Pros
Keeping up with work history is easy and it makes tracking items across different teams really convenient.
Cons
The newer view they rolled out in 2019 hasn't been a favorite of mine and ticket views also tend to load pretty slowly quite often.

“project tracking that works”
Pros
Managing projects feels very easy with it. Creating tasks, assigning them to team members and following their progress is simple and it really helps with planning the entire project development life cycle.
Cons
Making bulk changes to tasks can be tedious at times and in some cases it just isn't possible. Updating task versions in batches is especially difficult.

“useful tracking but weak reports”
Pros
One thing that's been helpful is having project tracking, customer support and productivity monitoring all in one place.
Cons
I do wish the reporting features were more powerful and offered more capabilities.

“better project management”
Pros
After getting everything configured the right way, this has turned out to be an excellent project management tool for us. It really pushes the team toward following best practices and I can see that our processes and overall teamwork have improved because of it.
Cons
There are plenty of built-in features and it's clear they're continuing to expand the platform which is a plus. That said, our team still ended up paying for quite a few add-ons and that makes it feel less ideal than it could be.

“powerful JQL and boards”
Pros
JQL has probably been my favorite part of using it. The boards especially with filters, are also incredibly helpful.
Cons
I do wish the out-of-the-box sprint reporting were better. I'd also like stronger tools around planning. We haven't been happy with Portfolio and while I know there are some newer options already available or on the way that I plan to check out, I just haven't had the chance lately.

“clean UI and progress tracking”
Pros
From the first use, the interface feels pleasant and user-friendly for just about anyone. We manage projects and timelines through this software and it gives much better visibility into each team member's current progress.
Cons
There isn't much to complain about overall though a few minor bugs do pop up now and then and can be a bit disruptive. Usually, refreshing the page or logging out and back in fixes the issue.

“tracking with integrations”
Pros
Every day, we rely on it to keep track of work across multiple projects. The project-and-issue structure fits the way we work really well and the usability plus customization options are a big advantage. Since we use the cloud version, getting everything set up was very easy. Integrations with other tools, like Slack, are also a nice bonus.
Cons
The move to the new IT software hasn't been handled very well because quite a few features are still missing. If you're working with an older project, it often makes more sense to remain on the old view, at least until the new one includes all the necessary fields. It also feels too centered around Agile which makes managing other kinds of projects more complicated. The reporting is acceptable but it's fairly limited so extra plugins are needed.

“better sprint visibility”
Pros
The older view still works better for me. It may not look as polished but it gets the job done. It helps us manage sprints properly and gives the product owner better visibility into the work we're doing. When the tool is used the right way, it really makes day-to-day work easier but if people misuse it, it can quickly become frustrating.
Cons
Newer interface looks more modern but it isn't very simple to use. Customization takes more effort than it should and isn't very easy. Over time, I've also noticed it slows down a bit especially when searching for a ticket.

“great board visibility”
Pros
Being able to get a complete overview from the board page is easily my favorite part of using it.

“simple features that work”
Pros
Getting started with the basic features was pretty easy and I was able to get comfortable using them in a short amount of time.
Cons
There's still plenty that could be improved especially when it comes to the interface. The newer version hasn't been very useful and the app version doesn't really work well for the kind of tasks I need to handle.

“team workflow tools”
Pros
Right out of the box, it offers a ton of functionality. I can set up a board and invite my entire team within five minutes so we can start collaborating almost immediately. It also doesn't take much time to tailor the way work is presented so it fits the needs of the business. There's a reason it has become an industry standard, it gives me everything I need to monitor performance and keep releases on schedule.
Cons
Every now and then, a few frustrating bugs pop up but they've never been serious enough to stop me from using the product properly. Most of the time, it's just a messy or unattractive UI issue rather than something critical. A lot of the complaints I hear seem to come from people who don't really use the product effectively in its default setup. The more heavily you try to configure it, the more issues you can end up creating for yourself. Other than that, customer support is pretty underwhelming and it can take days or even weeks to get a reply, often the bug is resolved before support ever responds.

“team collaboration win”
Pros
Working with teams across different locations feels much more efficient and time-saving with this software. Setting up project boards is easy and it helps keep track of tasks, execution, reviews, QA testing and pretty much every stage of development operations in one place.
Cons
The downside is the cost. The free version only covers up to 10 users so once your team is fully operating at scale, upgrading to a paid package becomes necessary.

“strong project visibility”
Pros
Whether I need a high-level overview or a close look at the smallest tasks, this software gives me plenty of ways to manage projects in progress. It lets me set up different views which makes it simple to track everything from the big-picture status down to the finest project details.
Cons
Getting started can feel a little intimidating because the learning curve is fairly steep. Still, once everything clicks and you get it running properly, it becomes hard to imagine managing projects without it.
