“promising but complex”
Pros
A really great starting point for managing support requests. It does the job well overall even if the configuration isn't completely easy.
Cons
Setting up new workflows feels too mechanical and for almost every step it seems necessary to involve a sysadmin especially when connecting with Active Directory and the domain.

“complete toolkit”
Pros
This feels incredibly complete and powerful. Honestly, I couldn't ask for much more and it works better than other similar project management tools I've used before.
Cons
It does take some time to learn and set up since you really need to understand the jargon and the finer details of agile project management.

“fast adoption”
Pros
Our team was able to get into the software right away and start using it without much ramp-up. Everything was easy to understand so they could begin working immediately. We didn't have to explore the platform in depth but the core features on the surface were enough to get us up and running fast.
Cons
There were a few minor problems with how bug reporting and fixes were handled. After launching the software program some bug reports didn't reach us until it was already too late which created a bit of a setback.

“cross-team visibility boost”
Pros
It makes it simple to review work history and keep track of what's happening across different teams.
Cons
Newer view they rolled out in 2019 hasn't been my favorite and the ticket views can be slow to load pretty often.

“project tracking success”
Pros
Managing projects with this tool has been very convenient. Creating tasks, assigning them to team members and following their progress is easy. It also does a great job of supporting planning across the full project development life cycle.
Cons
One downside is that making bulk updates to tasks can be tedious and sometimes it is not possible at all. Updating task versions in batches is especially difficult.

“team management upgrade”
Pros
After getting everything configured the right way, this has turned into an excellent project management tool for our team. It really pushes us to follow best practices and I can tell our team works better because of it.
Cons
It comes with a strong set of built-in features and it's clear they're continuing to expand the platform. That said, our team still had to spend extra on quite a few add-ons which makes it a bit less appealing overall.

“scalable foundations”
Pros
It's really helpful that you can begin with just the basic features, pay only for what you need at the start and then add more apps later as your needs grow.
Cons
Upgrading the on-premise version is quite challenging and definitely not a simple process.

“Reporting effectiveness and roadmap planning”
Pros
JQL has probably been my favorite part of using it. The boards combined with filters are also incredibly useful and make it much easier to stay organized.
Cons
I do wish the out-of-the-box sprint reporting were better. Planning could also use stronger tooling. We haven't really enjoyed using Portfolio and although I know there are some newer options already available or on the way, I just haven't had time to look into them yet.

“clean UI visibility”
Pros
The interface has a feel-good design and is simple for any user to get comfortable with. This software does a great job of managing projects and timelines and it gives the team much better visibility into each person's current progress.
Cons
There is not much to complain about overall though a few minor bugs do pop up from time to time and can be a bit disruptive. Usually, refreshing the page or logging out and back in fixes the issue.

“integrated tracking tools”
Pros
Every day, we rely on it to keep track of work across multiple projects. The project-and-issue approach fits the way we work really well and the usability plus customization options are a big advantage. Since we use the cloud version, getting the environment up and running was very easy. The integrations with other services, such as Slack, are also a nice bonus.
Cons
Move to the new IT software hasn't been handled very well because a lot of features are still missing. If you're working with an older project, you'll probably want to stick with the old view for now, at least until the new one includes all the necessary fields. It also feels too tied to Agile which makes managing other kinds of projects harder than it should be. Reporting is decent but very limited so you'll likely need extra plugins.

“improved sprint visibility”
Pros
Older view still works better for me. It may not look as polished but it gets the job done. It helps us manage sprints properly and gives the product owner better visibility into the work we're doing as well. When it's used the right way, it really makes things more manageable but if people misuse it, it can quickly become frustrating.
Cons
Newer interface looks more modern but it isn't very simple to work with. Customization also takes more effort than it should and isn't very easy. Over time, it tends to slow down a bit too especially when searching for a ticket.

Pros
One of the biggest advantages of using this is the boost in productivity. It's user-friendly, gives better visibility across the work and has been very helpful throughout both the development and testing process.

“excellent board visibility”
Pros
Being able to get a full overview from the board page is easily my favorite part of using it.

Pros
Getting started with the basic features didn't take long and I was able to get comfortable using it pretty quickly.
Cons
There's still plenty of room to improve the interface. The newer version hasn't been very useful and the app version doesn't really help with the kind of tasks I need to handle there either.

“workflow powerhouse”
Pros
Right out of the gate, it gives me a ton of functionality. In about five minutes, I can set up a board and invite my entire team to start collaborating. It also doesn't take much time to tailor how work is presented so it fits the needs of my business. There's a reason it has become an industry standard, it gives me everything I need to monitor performance and keep releases on schedule.
Cons
From time to time, a few annoying bugs show up but they've never really stopped me from using the product effectively. Most of the time, it's just a messy or unattractive UI issue rather than something critical. A lot of the complaints I hear seem to come from people who don't really use the product well in its default setup. The more you try to over-configure it, the more issues you tend to create for yourself. Outside of that, customer service is pretty underwhelming and it can take days or even weeks to get a reply from support. In many cases, the bug is already fixed before anyone gets back to you.

“collaboration made easy”
Pros
Working with teams spread across different locations is much more efficient and time-saving with this software. It makes it simple to set up project boards, keep track of tasks, manage execution and handle review and QA testing across all kinds of development operations.
Cons
The downside is the pricing since this software is not cheap. There is a limited free version for up to 10 users but once your operations are fully running, you'll need to upgrade to a paid package.

“project visibility hub”
Pros
From high-level planning to the tiniest project details, this software gives you a really complete way to manage work in progress. It supports different ways of organizing and viewing your projects so you can track everything from the big-picture 10,000-foot view all the way down to the smallest moving parts.
Cons
Getting started can feel a little intimidating because the learning curve is fairly steep but once everything clicks and you're up and running, it becomes hard to imagine managing projects without it.
