Service management suite

Pros

This has been a really versatile all-in-one software tool for our team. We rely on it to handle both change management and service desk issues and it covers a lot of ground. It's fairly easy to use once you get into it and it's capable of doing a lot more than you might expect.

Cons

Toughest part was getting everything set up at the beginning and figuring out the design and implementation of the workflows inside the system.

Detailed reports and interface

Pros

GUI is well done and being able to generate different kinds of reports is a really valuable feature.

Cons

What I'd change is the next generation of projects working with card points instead of estimated time.

User-friendly setup

Pros

The tool is easy to use and offers good customization options.

Cons

One thing that would improve it even more is having a more organized way to store test cases and rerun them for each sprint.

Strong customization and support

Pros

Right away, the clean interface made it pleasant to use and the level of customization is honestly outstanding. The full API gives me a lot of flexibility to integrate it in different ways which has been a big advantage. The mobile app is great as well and the customer support has been incredible whenever I've needed help.

Cons

One downside is that it can feel a bit heavy for the average user. At times, the website also runs a little slowly since it's quite large and relies on a lot of JavaScript.

Sprint collaboration visibility

Pros

Being able to create tickets makes collaboration between teams much more effective and it really helps everyone stay aligned on progress. It also supports stronger project management because a lead or manager can clearly monitor how work is moving within a sprint or any defined time period.

Cons

I honestly haven't come across anything about this software that I dislike.

Agile teamwork boost

Pros

Biggest plus for me is the agile project management built into the platform. It really helps with planning, tracking progress and getting work done faster for everyone using it.

Cons

One thing I like less is that there is no free access to try all of the features and functions when working as a team of up to 20 people since that requires a premium plan. Even so, it is still free for around 10 users which is still a good option as well.

Story management made easy

Pros

Creating stories with this tool has been really easy and it also helps a lot with tracking the progress of individual stories assigned to team members, along with overall sprint progress.

Cons

At times, I run into issues when trying to mark a story as done by resources or when applying custom filters. The filters only work if the exact keyword is used, instead of offering predefined filter values which can be frustrating.

Task management hub

Pros

Across our whole company, this is the tool everyone relies on constantly. Creating tickets, assigning them to teammates, using tags and notifications and keeping tasks organized all works really well. It does an excellent job of making sure nothing slips through the cracks and honestly it feels like one of the best project management platforms available.

Cons

Not a con but it's less simple than it should be which is surprising coming from this platform. A good example is trying to pull up a simple list of tickets I've created for other people so I can check project status. Every time, I end up clicking through several different pages or views just to locate it. That really feels like something that should be much more visible and front-and-center.

New version usability concerns

Pros

A few features really make this tool stand out for day-to-day project work. Ticket tracking and management are handled well so it's simple to follow issues and keep them organized. The dashboard can be configured with different widgets which gives a clear single view of the overall project status. Reporting is another strong point since generating reports is easy and very helpful for project managers. The Scrum and Kanban boards are also clear and practical making progress easy to follow. On top of that, plugin support adds flexibility and extends what the software can do.

Cons

One downside is that the newer version feels more complicated in terms of software design compared to the older one. The previous version offered a more user-friendly experience overall.

Great for training

Pros

It's been a really useful tool for training new hires and it gives them a place to look up information either during downtime or quickly while they're on the job.

Cons

One thing that could be better is the interface since it doesn't feel as user-friendly or polished as it could. Still, it does what it's supposed to do overall.

Agile dashboard insights

Pros

Having customizable dashboards in this tool makes project work much easier. We can build our own dashboards and use them to follow project events and overall progress closely. The hierarchy between Epics, Stories, enhancements and bugs is clearly structured which helps keep everything organized. The workflow is already well defined and it can also be adjusted based on what the project needs. It has been especially useful for Agile projects, where tracking sprint status and managing backlogs is a big part of the work.

Cons

At times, it gets quite slow and may even crash especially when several tabs are open at once.

Organized work management

Pros

Handling several projects at once gets messy over email so being able to assign tasks to coworkers and keep everything recorded in an organized list makes a big difference. It helps with issue tracking, lets you assign items to the right users and keeps everyone updated at each stage. Overall, it's a very productive tool and makes task management much more manageable.

Cons

Personally, there really isn't much I dislike about this software. Honestly, it works very well and is simple to use.

Project visibility center

Pros

It really helps connect activities and tools in one place which makes my projects much better organized. The dashboard keeps me updated on everything happening in the project and one of the best parts is being able to clearly highlight the progress of the work.

Cons

I'm not very good with diagrams but in this software they make it simple to spot where an error or problem is.

Flexible but setup complexity

Pros

This is one of the most customizable and feature-packed products I've used. I was consistently able to adapt it to match my team's needs and it fits especially well for mid-sized and large organizations.

Cons

That flexibility can make setup and configuration a bit challenging at times. The product is very broad so getting everything properly arranged usually takes a while and some tasks can feel more complicated than they really need to be.

Bug reporting bridge

Pros

This software has been really valuable for what it's meant to do. For my team and me, it worked as a great link between Technical Support and Quality Assurance and we used it to pass along issues directly to our QA department.

Cons

Since I only used it about once a week for bug reporting, I didn't run into any problems with it during that time.

Workflow integrations

Pros

After more than six years of using it at work, it has consistently proven to be a very capable tool with a strong feature set. One of the biggest advantages is how much you can customize workflows for each project depending on the team involved which makes it much easier to fit the tool to the way we work instead of changing our process to match the software. We also used it alongside Confluence and that setup was especially convenient because meeting notes could be written in Confluence and the tasks mentioned there could be turned into IT tasks right away. On top of that, it comes with plenty of integrations and extra features that can be added depending on what a project needs. The user permission settings are also very detailed which has been useful for us since some of our clients are quite technical so we can give them board access and let them follow progress directly.

Cons

One thing that was occasionally frustrating is that I was not the person who originally set everything up even though I had admin rights. Because of that, there were times when it was difficult to figure out where certain settings belonged, where changes could be made or even whether something was possible in the first place.

Storyline management

Pros

Keeping track of all the storylines that need to be completed is really useful in this tool. The interface is simple and it doesn't take much time to understand how everything works or learn how to use it properly.

Cons

At times, managing tasks and stories inside the Epics can be a bit awkward especially because there is extra work involved in filling out the status boxes for each one. The application also lacks a dedicated space to write acceptance criteria or note specific sprint details. Another limitation is that stories you no longer need cannot be deleted.

lack of customization

Pros

One thing that really works well with this software is how it lets me assign tasks to specific people instead of sending everything to everyone. It's simple to use, I get tickets very quickly and it cuts out a lot of the repetitive back-and-forth conversations.

Cons

The downside is the lack of customization. It would be much more useful if notification alerts could be chosen for certain tickets only instead of applying to all tickets.

Cross-team agility

Pros

It gave us the complete feature set and flexibility we needed for Agile development and it helped coordinate the work of multiple teams handling different parts of the deliverables, from server-side systems to mobile apps and even embedded platforms.

Cons

It does need someone with great knowledge to customize it properly and keep it maintained.
