Reliable issue management

Pros

Among the tools I've used for issue tracking, this is one of the best. Keeping track of issues and managing them through to resolution is very easy and simple to maintain.

Cons

Getting started was challenging at first because some of the features felt quite complex.

simple team platform

Pros

Using this has been a really positive experience overall. It's simple, simple to work with and fits well for organizations that need something customizable to match how they operate.

Cons

A few features could be clearer at first. For example, it's not very obvious how to highlight someone's name for notifications and adding people to tickets feels a bit indirect and roundabout.

Agile testing solution

Pros

Very user-friendly and easy to work with. It's one of the best tools available for Agile and the Xray feature works really well for uploading test cases.

Cons

One downside is that labels can't be deleted so the list keeps getting longer. It also doesn't allow downloading more than 1,000 records and it isn't compatible with Internet Explorer.

Built for developers

Pros

Built with tech companies in mind, this project management tool fits really well for computer engineers and UI designers. Assigning tasks and handling projects feels very natural for that kind of work.

Cons

There's definitely a learning curve and it wasn't that simple to use at first. At the same time, I didn't get as much hands-on time with it as some of my coworkers did.

Stable cloud service

Pros

Being cloud-based, it delivers strong performance and great availability. It also connects well with other apps.

Cons

Not every update feels like an improvement and the newer layout in particular hasn't been as good.

Issue monitoring dashboards

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is how well it brings everything together. The dashboards are very helpful, issue tracking and traceability work nicely and having stories, tasks and issues all visible in a single view makes day-to-day work much more convenient.

Cons

Sometimes the templates feel a bit clumsy to work with and some of the other features, such as customizing options within projects, could be more flexible.

Unified team workspace

Pros

Having everything gathered in one platform is a big plus. It comes with a lot of features so there's no need to jump between different tools for task tracking, communication and sharing project information. The whole workflow can be managed in one place.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve at the beginning. Some functions aren't immediately obvious so it takes time to explore the platform and figure out where certain features are located.

Bug management workflow

Pros

Coming from Trello, this feels familiar and user-friendly while offering a great way to manage software status and stay on top of bugs and issues. Assigning issues to team members works well and the fact that those assignments show up directly in their email makes follow-up much more practical.

Cons

One downside is that it requires a paid plan while Trello offers a free option. There's also a bit of a learning curve at the beginning if you're used to how Trello works and permissions need to be configured carefully or you can end up blocked from actions you'd normally expect to have access to.

Cons

It could use more customization options since I feel it should be adaptable to a much greater extent.

Transparent planning tools

Pros

Using this software for our agile marketing workflows has been really easy. The transparency it offers, along with how simple it is to work in, has helped our team manage capacity more effectively and scale as needed.

Cons

Honestly, I don't have any complaints. It was quick for our team to learn and everyone was able to get started almost right away.

Responsive help but awkward updates

Pros

Their customer support team is friendly and quick to respond whenever help is needed.

Cons

At the same time, known bugs tend to sit unresolved for too long and the change processes are usually lengthy and not simple at all.

Consistent improvements

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is that the service is consistently available, backed by excellent support and a wide range of features. The developers also keep improving it by adding new features on a regular basis.

Cons

The downside is that it's not an inexpensive service and the documentation could be much clearer and easier to follow.

Agile project oversight

Pros

From sprint planning to long-term delivery, this product covers just about every part of agile project management. It includes sprint boards, user stories, bugs, epics, plus a wide range of filtering and reporting options that make it useful across different project sizes and timelines. It has been a huge help in keeping software development work organized and manageable.

Cons

At times, ticket pages take a while to load and the interface does not always render quickly enough for people to keep moving efficiently. The more advanced filtering options can also be difficult for non-technical users to understand and use.

Complete tracking coverage

Pros

Everything stays organized, tracked and accounted for so nothing slips through the cracks. It lets you connect issues based on their relationships, break larger tasks into subissues that need to be completed first, update and monitor statuses and integrate it with other software that can both send data into it and pull data back out.

Cons

Responsiveness could be a little faster. It's not bad by any means but it doesn't feel truly real-time, for example, when I edit a filter, it usually takes a second before the results refresh.

Sprint management tools

Pros

It covers the essentials really well, tasks, bugs and features can all be managed inside a project and planned into sprints. The sprint gets updated daily by the team members themselves which keeps progress visible and the team lead can stay on top of timelines and manage deadlines effectively.

Cons

Most of the useful functionality it offers can also be found in much cheaper or even free, alternatives. We're currently exploring other tools to see whether they can meet our needs at a lower cost.

Customizable processes

Pros

Nearly every part of it can be tailored to match your specific needs which makes it very flexible to work with.

Cons

Even with all that customization, there are still some long-requested features that haven't been updated over the years and in some cases you have to rely on paid add-ons to get the functionality you want.

Task alerts and updates

Pros

Keeping track of every task is very accurate and it makes it simple to record details and share them with staff. The email and in-app push notifications are especially useful.

Cons

Using different accounts on the same computer can be inconvenient. It also takes extra steps when a manager is handling work for multiple clients.
