Reliable with flexible setup

Pros

It's been dependable for us and comes with a great range of features for tracking work and subscribing to specific items. There's also a lot of flexibility when it comes to setting up and configuring projects.

Cons

Our requirements are pretty simple so it handles those without any trouble. I can see a lot of teams getting more out of the broader feature set but like with many agile teams, a good portion of that functionality will probably never be used.

Kanban keeps work flowing

Pros

Using its Kanban board has become a big part of how I manage my day-to-day work. I check it constantly to see what my workload looks like and to decide which tasks need attention first. It's also been really useful for project tracking and even handling performance evaluations so it covers a lot more than just basic task management.

Cons

My only real issue comes up when one column gets packed with 80 or more items. Once that happens, it becomes much harder to browse or locate something quickly. In those cases, I usually end up relying on Ctrl+F and doing a page search just to find the title of the item I need.

Great for every team

Pros

It's been a really capable and powerful tool for our development team and it can just as well support our project management, sales and customer support teams too.

Cons

At times, it takes a bit of time to locate the right settings button or track down your tickets, mainly because the tool includes so many features.

Agile standard solution

Pros

Packed with useful features for Scrum and other agile methodologies and it really feels like the industry standard.

Cons

Sometimes it pushes you into awkward workflows just to handle very simple tasks but overall it still works well.

Customization with learning curve

Pros

There's a lot of flexibility here especially when it comes to customization and connecting it with external systems. It also offers plenty of options for setting up custom rules which makes it adaptable to different needs.

Cons

Getting comfortable with it doesn't happen right away. It's not especially simple and there's definitely a learning curve not only for administrators but for end users as well.

Reliable but limited connections

Pros

Getting started with book was easy. It's been reliable in daily use, hasn't crashed on us and the interface looks polished and modern.

Cons

The weak spot for us was integrating it with our monitoring tools. We didn't really realize how much more could be done in that area until we began using a different solution.

Feature-packed and pleasant

Pros

Using this every day has been a really positive experience. The performance is excellent and the overall user experience makes it a pleasure to work with regularly. It offers plenty of features without making the interface feel cluttered which keeps everything clean and comfortable to navigate.

Cons

Every now and then, a few shortcuts do not work the way they should.

Priority management tools

Pros

Our team mainly relies on it for submitting tickets related to the communication pipeline and it covers all the details needed to make sure each communication goes out correctly and accurately. The priority rankings and trigger system are especially valuable because they help the programmers quickly see what's urgent and what needs extra attention.

Cons

At times, the system goes offline for security updates without any advance notice and we usually only realize it once it has already happened. It's reassuring that security is being maintained but having a heads-up beforehand would make it much easier to plan around the downtime.

Great for production tracking

Pros

One of the best parts is being able to track work from production and handle bug fixes efficiently.

Cons

The interface could be more user-friendly and the pricing would be better if it were lower.

Ease of use but notification limitations

Pros

It is easy to learn and use, whether it's creating tickets, updating them or adding comments. I find that it offers a wide range of integration options and the broader features makes it easy to connect and work across multiple products.

Cons

I found the initial setup process somewhat complex and users without administrative privileges have limited flexibility and control. The email notification system is frustrating, as it frequently sends irrelevant updates and offers little ability to customize which notifications I receive.

Useful integrations and usability

Pros

The overall experience has been positive, with great interaction, a user-friendly interface and reliable integration with other tools.

Cons

The downside is that it's quite expensive and the license management could definitely be improved.

Excellent ticketing benchmark

Pros

It has been an excellent tool for managing tickets throughout the software development cycle. Every developer on our team already knows how to use it and there's a good reason it's considered the industry standard. Over the years I've worked with it, the support has consistently been excellent. On top of that, the broader user community is very helpful on forums when issues come up.

Cons

Since there really isn't a strong competitor in the market, I've been satisfied with the product overall and don't have any major complaints.

Sleek UI and setup

Pros

Getting started with it was easy, the setup didn't take much effort and the interface looks polished on both mobile and desktop.

Cons

The roles and permissions in the classic version are a little tricky to manage. Also, if you want to give external users view-only or comment-only access to a project, it still takes up a full user license.

Complete project visibility

Pros

Keeping track of the full project is much more manageable with this tool especially when working across epics, stories, tasks and subtasks. It also gives a clear picture of how much effort has been completed versus what is still pending. Our team relies on it for practically everything and we even use it to create and track RCA items when needed.

Cons

One thing that would really improve it is having formatting support for XML and JSON inside comments. It would also be nice to have a few background color options besides just blue.

Sprint and backlog planning

Pros

This tool helps us create defects and track their status while also keeping our backlog organized. We use it to handle stories and epics, along with planning our sprints. It's a very flexible tool and has been genuinely useful for our team.

Cons

Getting everything set up at the beginning takes a while and there's definitely a steep learning curve.

Task linking and blockers

Pros

It works well for connecting related tasks, grouping them under a "story," and showing blockers so it's clear which items need to be finished before the next task can move forward.

Cons

The interface still feels weak. Maybe I need more training but even though there are multiple ways to do the same action, it remains confusing to learn. Navigation is difficult and it's pretty easy to get lost after clicking around and then struggle to find your way back.

Project request management

Pros

This has been a great tool for tracking projects. One thing we really appreciate is how it logs every project request that comes in and sends email updates to everyone involved. It also gives the requester a chance to rate their level of satisfaction once the project is finished.

Cons

It did come in a bit more expensive than a few of the other project management software options we considered.

Agile workflow hub

Pros

Once the software is already set up, it's very easy to use. The interface is fairly simple and that mostly works in its favor. It's an excellent fit for teams working in an agile setup, whether that means kanban or sprint-based processes. On top of that, it gives you a lot of flexibility to tailor boards and workflows to match exactly how your team operates.

Cons

At the same time, tracking down the right options and settings can be frustratingly hard. Setting up new boards or modifying existing ones is also quite difficult even for someone who knows their way around the system. The highly customizable workflows can sometimes become a downside too since different departments end up using completely different approaches that don't align well when everyone is working on the same tickets. Pricing also climbs very sharply once you go beyond 10 users.

Workflows and customization

Pros

This is a really powerful project management tool. The parts I appreciate most are, Highly customizable, you can tailor it to fit your development workflow and the interface makes those changes very manageable. With the API and webhooks, you can take it even further and build more advanced workflows. Packed with features, I've used several project management platforms before but none of them matched the range of features this one offers. From kanban to agile, it covers everything I need. Constantly improving, the software keeps evolving and it's clear the team is putting serious effort into making the UX better every day.

Cons

The biggest downside for me is still the UX. At the beginning, it was quite difficult to understand how everything worked and it took some time to get used to it. Even now, there are still a few interaction patterns in the software that feel confusing.
