Central problem-solving hub

Pros

Having all of our challenges organized in one place has been the biggest advantage of this software. We can break work out into different categories, boards or projects and still bring everyone together in a single space to share comments, post results and work through troubleshooting as a team. It's also really valuable as a historical reference since we can go back to past discussions and solutions when similar issues come up again.

Cons

Feature I miss most is that the customer side no longer lets you tag people within the comments which takes away some useful functionality.

Clear and adaptable

Pros

For project management, this works really well because everything feels clear, customizable and simple to navigate. It does a great job of keeping work organized without making the setup feel complicated.

Cons

People outside the tech side of my company who are required to use it usually struggle to understand how it works. Tools like Trello seem to fit a broader range of teams better. I regularly end up closing issues for others because they do not really understand statuses or what it means to open and close an issue.

Configured for success

Pros

After the setup is in place, the software is incredibly simple to work with. For some of our end users, having all the workflows defined through the platform made the overall experience even better.

Cons

Getting everything configured is definitely the hardest part. If all the details aren't fully organized beforehand, the system doesn't function the way it should.

Tagging and backlog support

Pros

Being able to create tags and connect related items is really useful. It also does a nice job of helping track work and manage the backlog through a simple, easy interface.

Cons

At times, the software feels a little slow and it usually takes some explanation to get new employees fully onboarded.

Enterprise dashboard rollout

Pros

It works well at an enterprise level and being able to roll multiple Scrum and Kanban teams up into a single program dashboard is a big advantage.

Cons

Where it still falls short is integrating properly with project and program management, along with resource and organizational management. Because of that, it's hard to get a truly complete view of the business or produce full project and program reports covering budgets, actual spend and resource allocation.

Project linking but awkward navigation

Pros

Being able to connect projects with labels is really useful and I also appreciate the option to view projects by team and rearrange cards with drag-and-drop.

Cons

Finding what I need can be difficult at times and switching through the different viewing options feels a bit tough.

Agile tracking success

Pros

Working with an Agile team for a long time, this has been a big help in day-to-day work. It makes tracking stories and tasks very easy which helps the team stay on top of everything and keep moving forward. The overall experience is very positive because the interface looks good and is simple to navigate. The biggest advantage for my team is the way it supports the full development lifecycle making it faster to assign tickets and get them resolved.

Cons

One downside that comes to mind is that issues sometimes get created when they are not really needed. I've seen this happen on my team, where setting up a ticket can actually take more time than just finishing the task itself. The search function could also use some improvement so it's easier to find and view tasks without feeling overloaded.

Fantastic planning support

Pros

Creating sprints and managing backlogs is very easy. It doesn't take long to get comfortable with it either, almost anyone can pick it up in under a week. It's a really valuable tool for agile software development.

Cons

I honestly don't have any major complaints. If I had to point out something, the plugin load times for integrations with repositories like Box can be a bit slow. After the page loads, it sometimes takes a few extra seconds for the branch details to appear and show where the ticket-related changes are being committed.

Customizable but cluttered

Pros

There's a lot you can tailor which gives the software plenty of power. At the same time, it consistently feels like something built by developers for other developers rather than for actual customers. A lot of basic things have been missing for years and probably are not going to be added. Meanwhile, the product includes all kinds of odd little "easter eggs" that seem to exist for very specific niche use cases.

Cons

Whole experience feels more complicated than it needs to be. Workflows are slow, the interface is overly wordy and crowded and the hosted version is often extremely sluggish.

Flexible and feature-packed

Pros

Usability is really great and the flexibility gives me a lot of room to work the way I want. It also comes with a good set of features that make it feel capable for different needs.

Cons

The community support can be a bit confusing and it doesn't feel broad enough when you're trying to find clear help or user discussions.

Release-ready agility

Pros

It covers everything needed for agile workflows and matches exactly what our company was looking for to move through releases and iterations effectively.

Cons

One frustration is that you can't simply create a board and start adding lanes and tasks right away. Every project comes with a few required fields even when all you want is to quickly add a task and see it appear on the board you're already viewing. It would be better to fill in extra details later once there's time to expand on it.

Planning that keeps momentum

Pros

Across the company, more teams have started using it and it fits really well with Agile workflows. We can create user stories without much hassle, then break them down into tasks and subtasks. It's a very capable tool for planning, tracking progress and helping the team work faster. It also organizes issues clearly which makes it much easier to prioritize bug fixes properly.

Cons

At times, it feels heavier than necessary and the interface can be difficult to use.

Quick bug access

Pros

Getting to tickets for internal bugs and fixes that are being released is easy and convenient.

Cons

It's clearly built with technical teams in mind so it could be more user-friendly for people who aren't as technical.

Clear ticket workflow

Pros

Getting started with it as a bug reporting tool was pretty easy. Once I went through a short tutorial on how to create and file a ticket, everything made sense and I've been able to submit issues without any confusion or problems.

Cons

Filling out a ticket comes with quite a few extra dropdowns and fields that don't always feel necessary. I'm not sure whether the layout changes by organization but I'd really like more visibility beyond just seeing "in progress" or the sprint name. It would be helpful to have notes on what's actually happening with the issue instead of needing to reach out to an engineer for updates.

Agile execution success

Pros

There's a lot built into it for handling just about every scheme you need, whether that's issue types, workflows, field configurations, permissions, notifications, screens, custom fields and more. The setup is highly configurable and it works especially well alongside Agile methodology. Agile really seems to bring out the best in the platform and helps use its full potential. From fast, flexible issue creation and updates to keeping the development environment clearly traceable, it handles the whole process very well. Managers and Scrum Masters practically rely on the Kanban board for every meeting. Each issue and story can be tracked with detailed visibility from creation to execution to completion and even after it's done, the full history remains available for review.

Cons

From a feature standpoint, there really isn't much to dislike because most functions are easy and simple to carry out. Creating or editing issues is uncomplicated and can be done by almost anyone but that also creates a weakness. Actions like these should have more granular access control so permissions can be assigned at the individual issue level to the specific members involved. On top of that, if someone edits an issue by mistake, the system should at least prompt them clearly about the changes they are about to make or save. Only after the user successfully confirms those changes should the system allow them to be saved.

Integrations and value

Pros

One of the biggest wins for me is the number of third-party integrations it supports. I use it together with Slack, IFTTT, Trello and several other tools and that flexibility makes it fit really well into my workflow. The pricing is another huge plus. Even the free plan offers a lot and for small projects it's honestly more than good enough.

Cons

I'm usually the type of user who can always spot something to complain about but in this case I really can't point to anything that feels unnecessary, weak or poorly done. I haven't come across even a minor downside worth mentioning.

great overall experience

Pros

I appreciate the wide range of features, the high level of customization and how well it scales for teams and organizations of different sizes. It integrates smoothly with tools like Confluence, Service Desk and Slack, offers a strong selection of plugins and third-party extensions and provides both cloud and on-premises deployment options to fit different needs.

Cons

I find that the platform requires significant administration and ongoing management. It can feel overwhelming at times and some newer features have replaced or limited capabilities that were previously important. For simpler use cases, the overall complexity may be more than what's actually needed.

Highly adaptable platform

Pros

One of the best parts is how flexible it is when setting up your own fields, screens and workflows. The level of customization is a real advantage and makes it adapt well to different needs.

Cons

Because there are so many customization options available, the initial setup can feel a bit confusing at times.
