Pros

Online, Seamless integration and Quick implementation are few features among many which I like the most.

Cons

Managing client billing, retention and outstanding payments can be frustrating at times. Modifying invoices can also cause issues at time.

Knowify is a great tool for the company

Pros

The integration with QBO is exceptional. The customer service is outstanding and quickly resolves any issues.

Cons

There is nothing much to say but I think the cost could be a bit lower.

Up Your Game with Knowify

Pros

The ability to track jobs, profitability, productivity/efficiency, job costing and expense management is a game changer. The reporting and data provided by Knowify allow us to analyze areas for improvement and implement processes to achieve our goals. If I had to highlight one thing Knowify does exceptionally well is its Change Order Management. We can capture revenue from change orders more frequently and thoroughly than ever before. This alone provides a significant return on investment and makes it worth every penny. We regularly recommend Knowify to other subcontractors and GCs because we've experienced the benefits firsthand. The more organized our customers and other subcontractors are, the better the entire industry becomes. I must mention Knowify's customer service it's the best support we've ever received from any platform. Their training is exceptional, and they continuously improve their product. I never miss their monthly focused training sessions and encourage my team to attend for their own development.

Cons

One drawback of Knowify is the general nature of its permission structure. However, we are actively collaborating with their developers to create a more detailed approach to address this issue. Despite this "con" we highly value our relationship with the Knowify team because they genuinely listen to and address our concerns. On a lighter note some of our team members didn't particularly like the name "Knowify" So, we playfully nicknamed it "Spike" by associating the orange "O" with a spiked hairdo.

Number one tool I use daily

Pros

I use it every day for my proposals and I absolutely love it. It is so easy to navigate and use. Its self-explanatory to me even though I am not particularly knowledgeable about the software. In the past I was a marketing manager for Computer Associates but I've always disliked complicated software packages that make you scratch your head and waste time. Knowify is by far the simplest package I've ever used. I love it, and I can't imagine my job without it. It has made my job 50% easier.

Cons

I can't think of anything I dislike about Knowify.

Knowify is a great produt

Pros

Knowify is a software that is very user-friendly. It is intuitive and greatly assists with our daily project requirements.

Cons

When I enter numerous bills Knowify become a bit slow.

Pros

We mainly use Knowify to track jobs and we love how organized everything is. It is incredibly easy to use and we will continue using Knowify.

Cons

N/A. Everything we use Knowify for has been advantageous to us. Yes we would prefer more reporting options that can pull all job information we need. But overall we are pleased.

Getting to understand the system of Knowify

Pros

It is pretty straightforward although there is a lot to learn. The YouTube videos are helpful.

Cons

For me personally there is nothing I dislike about it. I believe it is just a matter of personal understanding and ensuring I execute my job duties properly. Overall it's pretty great and makes performing my tasks easy.

Tile company user

Pros

Knowify is very light software as you do not have to worry about the space in your device. Also you do not have to do much to train others on. The quoting functions are simple and fast.

Cons

The mobile app is designed for field personnel and lacks the features I need as an owner for sales purposes. It doesn't have a CRM and the scheduling workflow feels awkward. The financial integration with QuickBooks is quite basic.

I would be "lost" without "MY" Knowify

Pros

Our company works on projects for cities, counties and government entities and each requires weekly Certified Payroll documents. With Knowify I can easily generate custom reports that provide exact project details, sign-in and sign-out times and hours worked. It has made my job so much easier.

Cons

It would be helpful if Knowify had a dedicated area to store documents such as contracts, bonds etc, that can be attached to individual projects.

Great Program, I wish it could be tailored to architects more

Pros

I switched to Knowify primarily because of how it presents invoices with the percentage billed and percentage complete. The job costing functions are also quite helpful.

Cons

It can be challenging to use. The program was primarily built for contractors so as an architecture firm, we sometimes struggle to make it align with our needs. However we have generally been able to make it work for us.

Run your business efficiently

Pros

The dashboard is well-organized and there are numerous features available. Starting a new project, adding descriptions, dividing the job into phases and setting budgets for each phase is also a hassle free process now. The budget breakdown into materials, labor and subcontractor costs helps in estimating costs versus profits for each phase. The program simplifies calculating materials and labor costs by allowing you to input prices per unit and charge per hour and then automatically calculates the totals. I appreciate the seamless data syncing with accounting software like QuickBooks. Creating work schedules for staff and sending them tasks and time frames through the Knowify mobile app is convenient. The time tracker and detailed reporting module are impressive. Additionally, the paperless system allows for sending proposals with e-signature capabilities and invoices with links for online payment.

Cons

Knowify is excellent, but it requires a high level of experience with similar apps. On the positive side newcomers can download a demo version to practice and the software includes built-in user service templates.

I highly recommend Knowify!

Pros

The software is excellent for generating and sending quotes, invoicing (with QuickBooks sync) and managing time entries from the crew.

Cons

It would be fantastic to have a project pipeline and the ability to create tasks for project managers based on each stage in the pipeline. Additionally, having touch points created for follow-up with leads in the CRM would be beneficial.

Great user interface, robust features and a reasonble price

Pros

After an extensive search for construction management software we narrowed it down to Contractor Foreman and Knowify. While Knowify has a simple and user friendly interface, which is key when dealing with construction employees who may not be technologically advanced (no offense), we ultimately chose CF because it was half the price and offered more customization options for our specific needs. If CF wasn't available we would have definitely gone with Knowify.

Cons

The overall user interface is great because it is easy even possible for a 5th grader to learn. However, it is not as customizable as we prefer.

Overall Good Software for Construction Industry

Pros

The product is easy to use with a good interface. I particularly like the sub client feature and the ability to customize contracts.

Cons

We need better reporting systems for our commission-based sales reps. It's important to have separation between sales rep contracts.
