This software simplifies change orders, invoicing and documentation, making the process smooth and efficient.
Cons
Occasionally, the address lookup system doesn't function properly. The phone login app tends to lag or not work at times. It would be helpful if I could add lines between existing lines on the breakdown or bill of materials for better grouping and understanding.

Once set up, it's easy to use and learn which is very important. The dashboards are helpful and the navigation is reasonable. The customer service is truly exceptional, with quick and clear responses. Also the support team provides helpful answers to questions. They also offer fast customization turnaround.
Cons
Currently, I cannot make any template changes to the base templates for invoices and other forms. All such modifications must go through Customer Service. At present a company using the software can only have one template for each form. The software is most useful when linked to QuickBooks although it can still be used independently.

Pros
Knowify is amazing! We're using their new property management software which is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly. The integrations are fantastic and ensure a smooth workflow. The mobile app is simple to use, making it easy for all our supervisors to navigate whether in English or Spanish, which is a significant advantage.
Cons
I can't find any downsides to Knowify. We were so impressed with it that we signed up before our free trial ended.

I love how I can keep track of all my jobs, from active to those still in the bidding process. I can assign my team to any job, manage timesheets and even utilize the catalog to track pricing and material pick-ups. The app is the cherry on top for us, especially since it's one of the few apps that can be used in Spanish, which is important for our Spanish-speaking employees. The punch-in and clock-out feature, along with geofencing, is a great addition.
Cons
It would be great if the specific labor rates could be included in one of the lower plans instead of the highest plan and this is the only reason I need to use the highest plan.

With Knowify, I can effectively handle my leads, proposals, project costs and time sheets. The seamless sync with QuickBooks simplifies our day-to-day operations. Among all the apps we tried Knowify was the only one that offered customizable proposal templates which was extremely helpful since we communicate with our customers in French here in Quebec.
Cons
It would be fantastic if I could manage my leads like a CRM within the software as it would save me from paying for another CRM tool. Additionally, syncing calendars with Google Calendar for scheduled jobs and CRM activities would be a great feature to have.

“Concerns with Knowify
Pros
It serves as a front-end to QuickBooks and improves job tracking. We used to track jobs manually which used to takes a lot of time but Knowify has been a helpful addition. The reports are also quite useful.
Cons
When we started to use Knowify, it initially lacks user friendliness. There are several "quirks" in the system and we have been requesting fixes since 2018. Our company can't be the only one experiencing these issues. Knowify has been somewhat helpful but still falls short for my specific needs. For example, adding another default phase for subcontractors has become a terrible data entry process. The support hasn't been great either. Regarding job numbering, if jobs are initiated in Knowify or QuickBooks and they communicate properly, the last issued number should automatically populate, but it doesn't happen despite Support's suggestions to mark it in preferences.

Knowify excels in connecting users with clients in terms of financials. Creating contracts is also a breeze and their change order management is smooth.
Cons
There are inconsistencies in the UI where different form fields are presented for similar tasks depending on the billing style of a project. It's important to know the available information for sharing with clients before attributing time or materials to a project. The calendar doesn't provide much value to our business especially since scheduling is done in 15-minute intervals and mobile use is necessary.
