“Easiest pricing tool”
Pros
Pricing any project takes just minutes and is very simple to do.
Cons
I do not know if it counts as a con or now but you have to ensure that you regularly update the system to reflect any changes you make.

“Good product terrible support and aggressive pricing”
Pros
The product is well-developed and offers a comprehensive package for law practices, including document storage, time tracking, billing, trust accounting and matter management. It also provides remote access and has convenient features in its mobile app.
Cons
LEAP's marketing materials relies heavily on functionality but often require additional premium third-party licenses. The pricing structure is inflexible, lacking categories for admin staff versus fee earners, necessitating full licenses and precedent subscriptions for every staff member, including casual and part-time employees. Technical support has significantly declined in the past six months, with support tickets taking over a week to be acknowledged and remaining unresolved after two weeks. The lack of a transparent technical error ticketing system results in pushing users to online chat with wait times exceeding an hour, only to end up lodging a support ticket. The implementation process was poorly handled, marked by inadequate communication.

“Easy to use”
Pros
Learning, navigating and accessing the necessary information is easy. I find it very helpful that I can convert large document quantities into a single PDF within seconds.
Cons
Like any other software, Leap has its flaws. It often fails to open Word or Excel documents saved in Leap. Attaching files directly from Outlook to Leap is not possible as they must first be added to the desktop and then to Leap, which can be time-consuming. Apart from these issues, I am satisfied with Leap.

“Integration of Case Management & Practice Management in an Exceptional product.”
Pros
One of my favorite LEAP features is its accurate management of trust accounts, ensuring compliance with IOLTA standards. The integration with Quickbooks eliminates the need for duplicate entries which enhances accuracy and data integrity. LEAP's extensive communication features, such as notes, email tracking, phone logs and calendar, allow any user to access real-time status updates on matters. The support system provided by LEAP is another excellent feature. I can chat with support, open a case, schedule assistance, or utilize LEAP University and the Community pages for research.
Cons
Occasionally fails in bulk printing and issues with contact management can occur.

“Software promised so much and delivered nothing”
Pros
Everything it offers is impressive and seemed to fulfill all my business needs. The training provided was decent, although in hindsight, it turned out to be useless.
Cons
The software is riddled with problems. Draft documents are of poor quality, and the support received was shockingly inadequate.

“No customer support”
Pros
Leap software is user friendly, but it offers much more robust features than what a small office requires.
Cons
When in need of customer support, it is not always available. Phone-in tech support is not offered, and support tickets can remain unassigned for hours.

“Leap overview”
Pros
The client account and month-end reports are excellent tools for management to stay on top of reporting and reconciliation. I also like the seamless integration with Outlook as it allows me to send emails directly from the software.
Cons
The software lacks efficient task management and time recording. Customer service is poor, with limited availability of assistance. Initially, when the software took over LOLA, the customer service support was good, but over time it is completely diminished.

“This product is rubbish”
Pros
Leap has absolutely nothing to recommend. They lack communication, display arrogance, and fail to respond to any form of contact, return calls or emails. Frankly, I'd rather go back to using a quill pen than rely on Leap. Yes, I've tried reaching out to them, and they haven't bothered to respond.
Cons
As a sole practitioner, I previously used the virtual practice system operated by SOS Legal. However, it seems that Leap has now acquired/taken over SOS Legal, and their treatment of customers who have been with virtual practice for 12 years is shockingly poor. There is no way to speak to anyone and they ignore emails. Furthermore, they resort to blackmail regarding your data. This company should not be allowed to operate in the legal field. Law firms, beware, as they will hold your data hostage if you let them.

“Awful All Round”
Pros
Generating detailed reports is easy, and sharing files between LEAP and local storage is also hassle free process. It's also user-friendly and easy to learn, even for individuals with varying levels of tech skills.
Cons
The customer service experience has been unsatisfying. I made multiple attempts to resolve the same issue, but each time the LEAP customer support provided the same ineffective solution. I was promised calls from an engineer on three occasions, and despite giving them a one-hour window of unavailability, each time they called within that hour, resulting in missed calls and starting the process from scratch. There is no option to export or save time recordings in an Excel-compatible format; only hard copies or saving to PDF is available. This has significantly increased the time spent on preparing a Schedule of Costs, as each entry needs to be manually added and updated. The transition from our previous system to LEAP was far from smooth, with many matters not transferred and numerous errors or missing time recordings in the ones that were transferred. We had to spend a lot of time going through our files to correct these mistakes. The software has countless bugs and errors, especially with the Microsoft Office Add-ons, which do not seem to function properly across different versions of Office. Most cloud services either automatically delete or encrypt locally stored data. However, with LEAP, all data and documents accessed by a user are stored locally in an unencrypted folder without auto-deletion. This means that anyone with access to a device using LEAP can browse through all the documents and client information a user has accessed without even logging into LEAP or using the software.

“Agrxis Review on LEAP”
Pros
I absolutely love LEAP and consider it an invaluable resource for my legal business. The aspect of LEAP that I find most valuable is its comprehensive document management system. Thanks to LEAP, I can now easily organize, store and access all my legal documents in one place. This significantly reduces the time and effort I would have otherwise spent searching for and managing physical files. Even on my mobile devices, the user-friendly interface and powerful search features make it incredibly easy for me to find specific documents. The document management capabilities of LEAP have greatly enhanced my productivity and efficiency, allowing me to dedicate more time to assisting my clients and less time on administrative tasks.
Cons
Although my overall experience with LEAP has been positive, I did encounter one aspect that posed a slight challenge. The customization and advanced settings in LEAP have a learning curve that I found less than ideal. As a user, I prefer software that offers flexibility and allows me to personalize it according to my specific requirements.

“It can handle virtually anything we throw at it. ”
Pros
We implemented Leap while expanding our business, which did not disappoint us. It has completely transformed how we conduct our business, allowing us to outsource far more to team members than we used to. It has undoubtedly aided productivity, profitability, and client management. The accounting component and reports are by far the best features of Leap. They have made it considerably easier for me to keep track of finances. Overall, customer service is excellent, and the community forums are quite helpful.
Cons
The upgrades they push out routinely make necessary changes that affect our experience with the software. In older versions, we could enter an address on a card by searching the postcode. But they have removed that in the most recent release. The InfoTrack integration is useful, but the additional expenses are very expensive, and their sales crew has been very pushy with us for the past two years. They keep on trying to get us to buy more services from them. We feel they are very intrusive at times.
