Case Management Simplified

Pros

The accounting package is highly useful for tracking expenditure across all client matters and provides the most up-to-date status of each case.

Cons

It would be beneficial to have the ability to customize reports to include all the necessary information in a single document. In previous software packages, I could select the exact columns I needed for tailored reports.

Excellent for small to mid sized firms

Pros

I like the cloud-based nature of the system and the flexibility it offers. It's reassuring to know that I can reach out to customer support team anytime. My dedicated customer success manager, if I encounter any issues, he's instantly able to assist or guide me in the right direction. Some of the recent enhancements have been fantastic, and I'm particularly impressed with the integrations Leap provides.

Cons

At times, the updates have significant bugs which means you left with no choice but to contact support team. Also some of the integrations offered by LEAP don't provide good value.

First Impressions

Pros

The system's ease of use, layout and functionality are impressive.

Cons

The main issue I've encountered is the limited range of matter types, especially in civil law areas like Data Breach, Japanese Knotweed, and Housing Disrepair (section 11).

Poor support services/doesn't work

Pros

The fact that it's cloud-based is a major advantage, and the support staff are always pleasant to interact with.

Cons

I bought this product approximately two months ago, and it still doesn't work as promised. If there is an issue, I have to schedule an appointment with the service department, which can mean waiting several days for the product to function. Additionally, it is very glitchy. I cannot recommend this product.

LEAP review

Pros

The standout feature for me is the ability to generate letters with client details and customize them using our own templates.

Cons

Personalizing LEAP to fit each company's specific needs seems difficult. The standard model doesn't always align with our requirements.

Case Management for our Law Firm

Pros

The case management component is user friendly, consolidating all relevant files and documents in one convenient location. It's excellent for remote work and collaboration among multiple teams across different offices. The accounts ledgers and invoices are effective in managing finances.

Cons

There are occasional glitches with completion statements, resulting in unsaved information or incorrect figures. This could potentially be an expensive monthly cost for smaller firms.

I do not recommend Leap for small business

Pros

I have been a LEAP customer since around 2011. Unfortunately, they lack customer loyalty and can be extremely difficult to deal with. Their product has been frustrating, expensive, and has resulted in inefficiencies that have cost me money.

Cons

The staff members are unethical and disregard numerous emails. There is no access to technical support staff, and the chat functions are non-functional.
