Over the past 8 months I have utilized Miro extensively in my organization and it has been a refreshing experience. It offers a multitude of possibilities from bug-solving and retro planning to weekly meetings product reviews new feature development and team management. The learning curve is minimal and users can quickly leverage its advantages.

Cons

The navigation system has some issues and accidental movements can occur causing confusion for less detail-oriented users. The recent integration with Google Meet has some drawbacks such as connectivity issues access problems or audio mismatches. While integrating with meeting platforms like Google Teams or Zoom is a convenient way to reduce multiple tabs improvements are needed to enhance the experience.

Some features require referring to documentation to understand and utilize effectively.

Miro simplifies brainstorming and takes sticky notes to the next level making it easy to organize thoughts.

Navigating larger projects and zooming in or out can sometimes lead to freezing.

Miro's interface for remote collaboration is outstanding. The features such as displaying different users' cursors and using colored post-its facilitate a clear understanding of each team member's involvement and make information and idea exchange practical and agile.

Cons

Miro's usability is not as intuitive as other platforms and organizing the board layout can be challenging. A grid function or alignment options would greatly improve note organization. Nonetheless it doesn't significantly impact the overall experience.

Pros

This collaborative tool allows multiple users to work together on ideas and extract actionable insights. The templates are a standout feature providing an excellent starting point for generating ideas.

Cons

The cost is slightly higher compared to other software in the market. Flowcharts can pose issues as the boxes don't auto-align.

“Creative boards for teamwork and brainstorming

Pros

My experience with Miro has been positive. It streamlines tasks in Scrum such as creating website drafts and prototypes. Sharing is similar to Google products as you can assign read/write privileges to team members. I appreciate the ability to vote on ideas posted by the team on the boards.

Cons

The free trial limits users to only three boards. For larger projects training the team on basic usage is necessary.

Pros

Miro offers a variety of commonly used templates including a retrospective template. It also enables collaboration on shared documents making it easy for external clients to participate even without a pre-existing account.

Cons

The auto-sizing of long text in sticky notes can be inconvenient requiring manual adjustments when there are many notes on the board.

“Easy to use all the space you could need

Pros

I love how much content I can include in a board. It's a fantastic way to stay organized and have everything in one place. I can conduct multiple critiques within the same board and easily track the progress of my work.

Cons

It would be beneficial to have a bookmarking feature to make it easier to direct people's attention on the board especially considering its vast space. Currently I haven't discovered a way to do this although the ability to set the start view is appreciated.

While initially overwhelming a proper explanation quickly unveils the boundless possibilities that Miro offers for team brainstorming. It serves as an expansive infinite whiteboard accessible from anywhere in the world allowing for limitless creativity. In terms of value for the price we have yet to find a competitor that matches Miro's capabilities.

Cons

The learning curve at the beginning may pose a challenge for less tech-savvy individuals.

Miro is user-friendly and requires minimal technical knowledge. It's like a traditional whiteboard but with the advantage of preserving diagrams indefinitely. It has made remote collaboration a breeze for my software team.

There is very little to dislike about this product but occasionally I find myself searching for a preloaded template that is not yet available.

It can be quite difficult for first-time users. Improved guidance on the various tools and templates would enhance the user experience and attract more clients.

Using Miro to express and share ideas with peers is incredibly easy and enjoyable thanks to its diverse set of tools.

When I am on a call and sharing Miro my computer tends to slow down a bit.

The Miro whiteboard is an excellent collaborative space for showcasing work and gathering feedback from others. It has been instrumental in my architecture education.

On both of my computers the Miro website becomes extremely laggy when multiple people are collaborating on the same whiteboard rendering it unusable.

Miro is a flexible and powerful tool that aligns well with my thought process. It has become my go-to tool for brainstorming ideation and organizing ideas information and frameworks. The user interface canvas and tool design seamlessly complement my thinking instead of hindering it like many other tools.

Cons

It's difficult to find any significant dislikes about Miro. It consistently performs well with a highly intuitive user experience and accessible features that are readily available when needed.

Firstly I love sticky notes and Miro allows me to use virtual sticky notes in the whiteboard feature and more. Secondly the editing and element creation process is easy and intuitive making it accessible even for non-tech-savvy individuals.

Cons

Creating lines required a bit of effort to figure out but with some experimentation I quickly got the hang of it.
