Dragging and dropping editing tools sticky notes Kanban boards and task flows are my favorite features in Miro. Whether conducting remote design sprints aligning on project goals or creating diagrams Miro is the perfect place to do it all. Its ease of use is remarkable.

When working on large projects boards with extensive content can experience lag even with a strong internet connection.

The intuitive zooming and note placement in Miro are impressive. The ability to create different sizes of sticky notes is a favorite feature of mine. Miro allows me to categorize information enabling my colleagues to delve into details while still grasping the bigger picture.

Cons

The colors of sticky notes cannot be customized and it would be great to have a white text color option.

Downloading audio files can be a bit complicated as they need to be stored on the web.

I discovered Realtime board (Miro) a couple of years ago and instantly fell in love with it. The interface is user-friendly and navigating the menu options is a breeze. The diverse range of templates is incredibly useful for my day-to-day activities.

Cons

I'm not sure if I'm aware of all the possibilities and features that Miro currently offers. I might be missing ways to enhance my experience but I don't have the time to explore all the onboarding paths.

I encountered an issue with a board owner who didn't pay us after working on his team using the Miro free plan. We wanted to remove our files or revoke his access but we were unable to do anything with the board.

I have no idea how the free account works. I'm unable to create my own boards only join teams where I've been invited. However I want to create a private board and when I try to start a "new team" which I assume is the correct method for creating private boards it asks me to choose plans that I don't want to pay for. Since I use Miro individually and not in a company setting I'm frustrated because I just want to access my boards.

Miro is easy to learn and use and it has been a game-changer for real-time remote collaboration. I particularly adore the sticky notes and the wide range of free templates available making brainstorming and creating presentations a breeze.

Sometimes my laptop experiences glitches when working with large files in Miro but that's more related to my slow WiFi and laptop rather than Miro itself.

The template gallery and "learn & inspire" menu provide a wealth of resources for generating fresh ideas.

Cons

The table functionality in Miro is limited as it serves both as an object organization grid and a traditional table for tabular information.

The selection of shapes provided for mind mapping tools in Miro lacks variety often requiring manual drawing. It would greatly benefit the mind mapping process if Miro could expand its collection of shapes allowing for quicker and more efficient creation of mind maps.

After being introduced to Miro by a colleague I was familiar with other whiteboard tools in the market but Miro won me over with its exceptional features. It combines the best functionalities from other tools I had previously tested. Moreover their generous free trial allows me to showcase its capabilities before committing to it which is particularly helpful when starting a new company.

Although I haven't explored the integrations yet I haven't come across any weaknesses in my experience using Miro for less than 6 months.
