Consultant using Consultant plan

Pros

The realistic graphic solution for sticky notes and seamless screen sharing make working in Miro boards a pleasure. Its video and voice options related to mapping software offer excellent value for money.

Cons

Zooming out results in a blurred view, necessitating zooming in to maintain clarity on specific sticky notes. Additionally, I find the solution for aligning sticky notes less satisfactory compared to Lucidchart. Furthermore, templates for House of Quality or QFD with formulas would be a welcome addition.

There's little to fault with this software; it addresses a critical need for remote collaboration, particularly for those accustomed to sketching together.

Essential tool for online workshops

Pros

In the current work-from-home environment, tools like Miro are indispensable for organizing events or workshops. Its user-friendly interface, rich features, and customization options make it an essential tool for various collaborative projects.

Cons

There's very little to criticize about Miro; even the free version offers impressive functionality. The only inconvenience I've encountered is the inability to make payments without a credit card.

Essential tool for creative collaboration remotely

Pros

Miro has been invaluable in facilitating remote yet collaborative creative workshop sessions amidst the pandemic. It may not solve all challenges, but leveraging its features has significantly improved the effectiveness of online workshops.

Cons

Certain aspects of the interface and usability aren't as intuitive as I'd prefer. Despite investing numerous hours, I still encounter occasional interface issues.

Collaboration tool worth checking

Pros

Miro serves as an excellent collaboration tool, enabling workshops with multiple users seamlessly. Its ability to track coworker pointers enhances real-time collaboration.

Cons

Performance is superior on Chrome compared to Edge or IE, and the installed app lacks stability. While the interface seems straightforward, it may require explanation for certain users.

Introduced to Miro at a remote conference, I was impressed by its real-time collaboration capabilities. It's now my go-to tool for gathering project ideas and virtual whiteboarding, offering much more than meets the eye.

miro - a nice but limited whiteboarding tool

Pros

Miro's easy-to-use features, including zoomable space, colored post-its, and real-time collaboration, enhance its usability for agile workflows.

Cons

Whiteboarding and using colored post-its aren't always sufficient, particularly in workshops. Integrated documents and multipage formats like PPTX or PDF that retain their original format upon export would be advantageous.

Good tool to visualise complex processes to create an appropriate structure

Pros

Miro enables the creation of easily modifiable mindmaps from scratch, promoting independent collaboration among multiple users with the option to add comments.

Cons

Dragging notes in the kanban board or brain wiring template isn't smooth, as they often snap to the wrong board. Introducing an idea voting option could enhance the user experience.

Will bring any virtual team meeting to the next level

Pros

Miro stands out as an exceptional tool for enhancing virtual brainstorming, workshops, and meetings. Its fun yet functional design, along with specific facilitation features, makes it indispensable for collaborative activities. Additionally, its wide range of templates simplifies activity setup and provides inspiration for engaging meetings.

Cons

Some older colleagues found Miro challenging to use, possibly due to our team's heavy reliance on text-heavy activities, which can clutter the board and make it difficult to read.

Good online collaboration tool for more technically inclined people

Pros

With its unlimited canvas and browser-based collaborative whiteboard editing, Miro offers a versatile platform supported by a reasonable selection of templates.

Cons

Miro is well-suited for technically inclined users, but those less web or tech-savvy may encounter difficulties. Integration with a wider ecosystem, such as Microsoft or Google suite, would be advantageous.
