“Good way to share and work with others

Pros

The collaboration features in this product are highly effective with numerous options for sharing comments notes links and images. The intuitive tools make it a preferred choice for remote workers. We rely on it for various types of meetings ranging from brainstorming sessions to task management. However it excels particularly well in dynamic brainstorming rather than static content display.

Cons

The most commonly encountered problem is the rendering time especially when specific board settings are involved. This can make screen sharing a tedious process. However using the desktop app sometimes resolves the issue although switching between tabs can still cause anxiety.

Like any feature-rich tool Miro can initially feel like learning to ride a bike without training wheels. It takes some time to become familiar with all the functionalities but once you get the hang of it the initial learning curve is worth it.

Many of its features can be performed more effectively using Notion and the cost can be quite high if you don't utilize all of its functionalities.

There is a significant amount of manual tasks involved. It would be beneficial to have an easier way to import information. When creating large maps they can become difficult to manage or align. Additionally the Mac software feels outdated being slower and less modern compared to other progressive apps I've used.

We rely on this tool to display comprehensive roadmaps charts and more empowering our success in a collaborative remote environment.

Cons

The security measures can be frustrating. With an Enterprise license you can't even view a page unless you have a license and are invited as part of a specific team. All enterprise users should have access to any shared board.

I still find it confusing to navigate the buttons and perform specific tasks. It would be preferable if the interface were more intuitive and self-explanatory. Nevertheless this is a minor issue.

Collaborating with users who are less careful can be frustrating due to the unrestricted ability to heavily modify the boards without the original creator's oversight. There have been instances where I had to spend considerable time reverting changes made by someone often unknowingly.

Its expansive canvas allowed us to capture express and collaborate on even the grandest ideas. With over 35 individuals sharing thoughts and notes Miro excelled in maintaining a clean canvas while fostering brainstorming workflow management organization communication and teamwork.
