Strong value and flexible tracking

Pros

At this price the feature set feels really amazing. As the dashboard, Insights and team management tools work well together for project collaboration. Custom columns plus monthly and fixed budget tracking add a lot of flexibility when handling multiple projects. Also the core time tracking is dependable and new team members usually get comfortable with it pretty quickly.

Cons

A few things slow us down. Like there is no search function in the timesheet user dropdown so as the team grows, you have to scroll through a long list just to find someone. The Projects section can be slow to load which interrupts the time tracking flow. Also there is no way to bulk edit past time entries using a spreadsheet so fixing mistakes takes more time than it should. Old team names are not saved which creates gaps in reports. And yes invoicing works but the filtering options could be much better.

adapt to our workflow well

Pros

Being able to adapt it to our particular workflows and tasks has been a big advantage. It's been especially helpful for drilling into individual projects and departments so we can better understand our effort levels and overall costs.

Cons

I'd appreciate more guidance on the best ways to get employees fully on board. As useful as the platform is, the quality of the insights really depends on the quality of the data being entered.

simple interface with excellent support

Pros

The interface is incredibly simple to navigate.. clean, simple and hassle-free. The reporting is equally user-friendly with clear visuals and data that's easy to understand and act on. The pricing suits my budget perfectly offering great value without hidden costs. And to top it off their customer support has been excellent, always responsive and helpful whenever I�ve reached out. It feels like a complete package.

Cons

When I create a new project through the time log I cannot set the price at that moment. So I have to go back to the projects list later to edit and add the rate. Also I would love a dark mode option.

excellent even on free plan

Pros

Even when using the free plan it's excellent for generating client-ready reports and really handy for planning and staying on top of projects including tracking individual tasks inside each project.

Cons

Honestly there is not much I can complain about as it simply delivers what it promises and I don't really have anything negative to say.

easy to use with free tier

Pros

I'm a real fan of how easy it is to use. The whole experience feels smooth from the very first click. I also really like that there's a free tier available.... it lets me explore the features and see how it fits into my workflow without any upfront commitment or pressure. Lacks basic cookies and useful support

Pros

It is pretty easy to set up and it was not hard to learn. But the interface is only passable at best.

Cons

There are no cookies so every time I leave the weekly report view, I have to reselect the time frame which is frustrating. It also feels like the developers do not care about my business getting paid as they only focus on changes that benefit them financially. Customer service has been useless too. I would also like an option for detailed invoices, split into labor and materials. So once we close for the winter, we'll switch back to QuickBooks or another software that remembers my choices and has a development team that actually responds to customers.

Well organized and extremely simple

Pros

I like how well it is organized. Overall the app is extremely simple to use and the free/shareware plan covers everything my tiny company needs. Plus it lets me concentrate on tracking how much time I spend on each project I'm handling which is incredibly useful for deciding what to charge and where to set prices.

Cons

To be honest, I have not come across any real drawbacks so far. Perhaps after using it for a longer period I'll be able to spot some issues or limitations.

Pros

Setting it up was not an issue and it works exactly how I want. I was also glad to find an option to switch to 24 hour time. The tasks feature performs reliably too when I use it. Plus being able to toggle between daily and weekly views is also useful making my weekly timesheet easier to complete.

Cons

A couple days of my logged hours got deleted by mistake and I could not figure out how to restore them. Since I am on the free plan, maybe recovery is offered only in the paid tiers.

easy to use with smart bundling

Pros

It is very easy to use. I also like that tasks sharing the same name across multiple projects get bundled together because that makes it easy for me to gauge how much time I am spending in meetings versus handling individual assignments or doing on-site field work.

Cons

During the Premium trial I had an issue with time rounding as my entries were rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. And after the trial expired I couldn't modify any projects I'd created during the trial like adding descriptions or renaming titles. The app still had time rounding enabled which is a premium-only feature but it blocked me from saving changes with a this is a premium feature error message.

Flexible and simple for billing

What I really like is how flexible and simple it is to use and it lets me bill my working hours seamlessly without any extra fuss.

Cons

Ideal solution for a solopreneur

Pros

Being a solopreneur, I find this to be the ideal solution for tracking my hours. It does not have needless features that complicate things but offers precisely what I require.

Cons

Sometimes I notice the device sync is pretty slow and on occasion I have to refresh or restart the page/app to get everything up to date.

exceptional ease with reasonable pricing

Pros

I've been using this tool and appreciate that it comes with both free and paid plans and it's exceptionally easy to use. Since I recently launched my own small business, the app has made tracking my time and generating reports pretty easy. It also lets me set different hourly rates and clearly mark which hours are billable versus non-billable. The layout is also user friendly so I didn't need to spend time learning or figuring out the software. Compared with other time-tracking solutions, the paid plans are quite reasonably priced but there is also plenty of useful functionality available at no charge.

Cons

Honestly I cannot think of any major drawbacks right now.

allows simple sorting with user-friendly apps

Pros

To me three features really stand out. Like I find it pretty simple to sort how I spend my time. If I ever need to tweak a logged hour I can just change the event's duration rather than trying to remember exact start and end times. And finally, both the website and the mobile app are user friendly and easy to navigate!

Cons

There are so many different ways to organize time entries such as by client, project, tag and more so it takes me a little while to get comfortable with all the options.

Cons

Performs well with helpful breakdown

Pros

Great filtering and week view

Pros

One thing I really like is that I can set up customers, activities and tags and then easily filter the analytics by those labels and that approach works extremely well for me. I also love the Week view where I can look at every activity. Plus the built-in stopwatch for timing tasks when I'm on the move.

Cons

I have not found any major drawbacks so far to be honest. Sometimes when a new week begins in Week view, I end up having to reorganize all the activities carried over from previous weeks but if I edit them, it changes the originals from earlier weeks.

Pros

Helpful for Agency Work

Pros

I started using MyHours in 2019 when our subsidiary began managing more clients and we needed to track our time. Even though that subsidiary was dissolved later on, I continue to use MyHours for time tracking. The customer support team helped me customize the default view for the detailed report, allowing me to see the entire month at a glance.

Cons

The interface appears outdated and can be a bit clunky, not providing the best user-friendly experience.

Best free option for solo users

Pros

Able to allocate time across different projects is really useful and the weekly summary for each one makes it simple to see where my hours went. It is also convenient that I can use it on both my phone and my computer.

Loved it!

Pros

Keeping tabs on exactly how much time I spend has been really simple, not just by client but also by each project under that client. Flexible rates and project tracking

Pros

After trying several options, MyHours was the first that let me set things up exactly the way I wanted to track my work. I can assign different rates to different clients, set separate rates for team members, manage multiple projects under each client and break those down into tasks. Though there is a lot of customization yet the product still feels very easy to use.

Cons

For a small business, the software almost feels like it has more features than I need. Setting up my preferred client, project and task workflow also took longer than expected. But there is a good reason for that. Like when I first set it up, I was just experimenting and was not thinking about how I would use it long term. If I had planned ahead from the start, I probably would have finished much faster.

right tool for small teams

Pros

Getting started with My Hours was quick and it works really well for a small team. Managing projects, tracking billable hours and handling billing all feels basic, customizable and simple to learn.

Cons

A set of short written how to guides for setup, along with tips and tricks would make the product even more user friendly. I'd also love to spend less time tracking and more time actually working on the tasks I'm tracking.

Pros

Keeping track of my own time across different projects is exactly what I use this for and it works really well for that. The setup process was simple too so logging time doesn't take much effort.

Cons

There are plenty of extra features built in that I personally don't need. Since I only use it to track my own time, a lot of the broader functionality goes unused.

Does what it suppose to do!

Pros

proven really helpful

Pros

My Hours is very easy to use and the export options make end of month invoicing and billing much simpler to organize. It is also really helpful that I can assign different rates to different clients and entering or updating line items in the timesheet is quick and convenient.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is the ability to assign a new client/project directly from the timesheet, instead of having to open the item settings and edit the new entry there.

Excellent reporting and value

Pros

Between the price and the reporting tools, this was exactly what I needed. It gave me the reports I wanted without requiring any extra time to build or customize them.

Cons

I'd like more control over projects especially around budgeting. I wish I could change a project's start date but I was told that date cannot be edited as it shows when the project was created in My Hours, not when it actually started. Also the workaround is to copy the project and delete the original, as long as there are no time logs attached. I understand why it works that way but being able to simply edit the date would feel more practical. Maybe that's just me.

pretty idea for tracking time

makes our job simple

Pros

Selecting projects and tasks and logging time against them seems pretty simple. I can also copy the previous week's tasks without bringing over the hours which is a big help when setting up a new week. Assigning team members to projects and tasks also works really well.

Cons

The billable versus non-billable setup still does not quite work the way I need it to. Reporting in the free version is a bit limited too but exporting the data and using it in Excel works well enough.

Reliable billing and clear reporting
