“Great for planning”
Pros
It's really helpful for organizing to-do lists and planning activities ahead of time and I mainly use it for personal tasks. A friend actually recommended the app to me and that recommendation turned out to be spot on.
Cons
The customization options are extensive enough that they can pull me in for way longer than intended. I'll end up spending too much time designing the look of my notes because it feels convenient for me and when that happens I sometimes switch back to my phone's notes app just to do quick tick-box exercises.

“Comprehensive system”
Pros
I really like how flexible it is, you can set up everything from simple to-do lists to full project setups and personal organisational dashboards, all within one workspace.
Cons
Getting started can feel a bit overwhelming because key features like databases and more advanced layouts don't always feel immediately user-friendly.

“All-in-one app”
Pros
Having the option to mix notes, checklists and tables all in one place is really helpful. I'm able to keep my task tracking, research and meeting notes together without constantly jumping between different apps which keeps my workflow pretty clean.
Cons
Pages with lots of content don't always load instantly, quick access can take a couple extra seconds and scrolling through them sometimes feels a bit slower than expected.

“Perfect for my workflow”
Pros
It fits my workflow really well because I can write, embed spreadsheets and manage list-based tasks all inside the same workspace. That setup gives me the freedom to organize information the way I actually need it.
Cons
Notifications can be a bit unreliable so reminders don't always come through consistently. I sometimes end up missing updates unless I open the app and check manually.

“Cost-effective option”
Pros
It feels super adaptable for project and task management and it's also pretty affordable compared to a lot of other tools. I also genuinely appreciate the wide range of templates available since it makes it faster to get started without building everything from scratch.
Cons
Learning how to use it can be a little challenging at first even though the help resources are fairly solid. It also isn't the most user-friendly experience on desktop compared to some other apps.

“strong no-code option”
Pros
Notion has been a really strong no-code option for both individuals and teams that want highly customizable tracking and note-taking. Getting it set up is genuinely enjoyable and once you build your own setup, it's much easier to understand the system and tweak it to fit your workflow. The AI features are especially impressive, it's able to turn meeting minutes into usable takeaways, answer questions directly from your notes and databases and generally make the whole workspace more searchable and actionable. At the time of writing, it's running on models like GPT-4 and Claude which makes a noticeable difference in quality.
Cons
Because it's so customizable and doesn't offer much in the way of guardrails, it's easy to fall into the trap of spending time refining the workspace instead of using it for the original goal. With teams, that risk goes up, you'd need to be careful about onboarding people clearly and restricting anything you don't want changed. I'd only consider Notion for team productivity in a pretty niche scenario, otherwise, I'd probably reach for something more turnkey like monday.com or Asana.

“A bit complex”
Pros
It feels pretty flexible overall. You can lay out pages, connect content and set up more customized workflows as long as you've got a handle on how it works. That's probably why it appeals to people who want to organize everything their own way and it does end up consolidating a lot of useful tools into one place.
Cons
Despite the clean-looking interface, it doesn't come across as user-friendly as the marketing suggests. Figuring out the best structure for your content takes longer than it should and there's a real learning curve. It's also too simple to accidentally turn what should be a simple setup into something overcomplicated. Before you know it, the configuration starts to feel like its own separate project.

“Boosts productivity”
Pros
Using this platform has noticeably improved our productivity and collaboration. The apps are user-friendly and the interface is clear so it's been simple for the team to get around.
Cons
I'm really happy with Notion overall, starting with a free trial helped me test it out before committing and the pricing has stayed reasonably affordable after implementation.

“slightly confusing workflow”
Pros
It looks really cool and honestly you'll end up staring at it a lot so the design matters. Beyond that, it's pretty versatile and flexible, you can shape it to do a lot of different things instead of feeling locked into one way of working.
Cons
The interface isn't always user-friendly. Getting started sometimes means assembling building blocks of functionality before you can jump into the task you actually care about and that setup step can feel confusing. It also has the potential to pull your attention away from what you're trying to accomplish.

“Well integrated software”
Pros
I can organize my notes, tasks and documents in it using pages and databases. Since I can link different apps and workflows together, everything stays in one place and I don't have to keep jumping around to search for information.
Cons
When there's no internet connection, it's harder to view or update my notes-especially when I'm traveling-which gets pretty inconvenient.

“One-stop shop”
Pros
The app feels really flexible and the all-in-one setup makes it simple to keep everything in one place. I use it to organize basically anything and the built-in templates genuinely save a lot of time. Syncing has been dependable too which makes daily use a lot less annoying.
Cons
It can take a bit of time to click around and get things set up and the mobile layout feels cramped. There also seem to be lots of blocks competing for space and if you load it with too much content it slows down.

“Everything under one roof”
Pros
It's been a solid home base for all my projects and notes. The app is really flexible and I can mix notes, tasks and databases in one place instead of juggling multiple tools. The interface stays clean and I like that I can customize the pages to fit how I actually work.
Cons
The learning curve is real, everything can feel overwhelming at first. Offline support is also pretty limited and a few more advanced features I expected aren't available yet.

“Lovely UX”
Pros
Clear, well-thought-out design and UX. The overall look fits the workflow really well and encourages productivity and collaboration. On top of that, Notion AI works pretty smoothly and reliably for the tasks I used it for.
Cons
Exporting isn't fully aligned with how things appear inside Notion. It doesn't export the document in a way that preserves the exact formatting so the layout can shift after export. Clickable links don't carry over properly and image positioning also ends up different from the original Notion view.

“Convenient once you understand it”
Pros
I use it for taking notes, managing projects, handling budgets and collaborating with teammates. The page builder lets you shape layouts exactly how you want and everything looks really clean. Once you get the hang of it, it's genuinely enjoyable to work with.
Cons
Sync runs quickly and multi-user collaboration feels strong. That said, the mobile app can be slow at times and the offline mode isn't fully reliable.

“Great for collaboration”
Pros
I liked that a lot of my team members could collaborate on the same project without friction. We set up a shared calendar and then built out our different tasks which made coordination much simpler.

“My main hub for everything”
Pros
It has basically become my main hub for everything. I use it for structured notes, day-to-day tasks and even random thoughts that pop into my head. The best part is how flexible it is, I can shape my setup the way I want and it feels genuinely satisfying.
Cons
I do occasionally lose time tweaking and setting everything up like I'll get stuck in customization for longer than I intended. Once it's dialed in though, it really does make my workflow smoother and I'm less likely to forget things.

“Love it's interface”
Pros
I really like it's interface. It's simple to format my notes so they look polished, stay easy to read and remain well organized. I also appreciate how expandable the platform is-there's a lot of room to build on and it genuinely feels like I'm just scratching the surface. There's a nice sense that you can keep growing as your needs change.
Cons
A few of the features are quick to grasp but others like building websites, working with accounting spreadsheets and setting up calendars take more time. Even if the payoff is worth it, it does mean you'll need dedicated learning time and focus. That part isn't a deal-breaker but it's something you should plan for.

“Centralized operating system for my business”
Pros
It feels like a centralized operating system for my business. Creating SOPs is simple and I can manage tasks and contractors all in one place, almost like a town square where everything runs under the same roof.
Cons

“Solid design”
Pros
This tool feels really versatile and lets me structure pages exactly the way I want. The design is also visually solid, being able to add emojis is a nice touch that makes content feel more personal.
Cons
If you don't keep things organized, it can turn a little messy. Since it offers full flexibility, it's easy to get overwhelmed by how much you can configure and how many options you're working with.
