“Helps build task lists, wikis, habit trackers”
Pros
I appreciate how flexible it is. As a regular user, I'm able to build pretty much anything I need including task lists, wikis, habit trackers, reading lists and even project boards.
Cons
That said, using Notion often means you either have to create your own system from scratch or rely on templates which doesn't suit everyone's preferences.

“Works across tablet and phone”
Pros
Great for personal note taking, time management and keeping track of tasks. It's genuinely helpful and simple to use. There are also tons of templates that make it easy to get started. One of my favorite parts is being able to share a note as a website link. It also works across multiple devices, including my Mac, tablet and phone.
Cons
I don't really run into many issues but I'd love a drawing note feature. If that option gets added, it would feel like a complete app for both note taking and collaboration.

“Attracting interface”
Pros
The versatility is what keeps pulling me back. The first time I used it a couple of years ago, the clean, visually appealing interface and the sheer number of features grabbed my attention right away. Since then, it's only gotten more complete-adding solid AI features and more integrations while still holding onto that user-friendly layout.
Cons
The AI side feels decent but the LLM model behind how it processes requests seems a little outdated compared to what other algorithms are doing.

“Useful regular updates”
Pros
The biggest win with it is how effortlessly you can organize basically everything in one place and it ends up giving your whole workflow a really solid structure. It also feels like they're actively improving the product, there are consistently useful updates, including AI integration that helps with writing and overall assistance.
Cons
The only sore spot for me is support. Their customer service and response quality haven't been great. Even though it runs perfectly on my iPad and iPhone, Notion on my Mac occasionally acts up and the team doesn't seem to follow through with proper responses.

“Not limited note taking”
Pros
It isn't limited to simple note taking, it works like a full project management tool. I can track projects, connect integrations for data and analytics and even use it to serve as a website landing page.
Cons
There's no offline mode when I'm using it (it can be a problem if I'm without a connection). Also, the interface can look a bit messy at first so it may feel harder to understand when you're getting started.

“multipurpose functionality”
Pros
The way it connects teams together, along with its multipurpose functionality, has been fantastic. It's been a real addition to our toolkit and I expect we'll keep using it from launch and well beyond. A Type A dream, honestly. I was introduced to it briefly through my business development role via a client and since then I've basically been hooked. I typically use the macOS app.
Cons
The front-end visuals could feel a bit cuter but I also understand they're trying to appeal to multiple audiences so a slightly more polished/less sterile look would probably work better across the board. Also, it could be nicer if the workspace breakdowns felt a little more integrated though overall the app has been great.

“Helped me build an itinerary planner”
Pros
I've been able to build an itinerary planner in a single workspace, keep supplier contacts organized in another and use a shared board where the team continually updates the trip details. Everything is drag-and-drop and highly visual which makes it simple to scan and understand what's happening at a glance.
Cons
Using it on mobile can be a bit sluggish when I'm on the go-like when I'm meeting partners or at the airport. Also, if some team members aren't already comfortable with tools like this, a bit of coaching is needed so they use it the right way.

“lets me write articles”
Pros
This platform lets me write articles, build tables to store and organize information and even get help from its own AI assistant (Notion AI).
Cons
The mobile version definitely needs a redesign, it's not as user-friendly as it could be especially for typing and writing on a smartphone.

“Does a lot”
Pros
The flexibility really stands out, there's a lot you can do with it and you can set up tons of different workspaces depending on what you're working on. That makes it feel adaptable to different workflows and project needs.
Cons
At the same time, that same flexibility can make the setup a bit tricky. With so many options and places to organize things, it can get overwhelming trying to figure out where to begin.

“easy to add elements”
Pros
There's a lot of different ways to structure your pages, ranging from basic writing blocks (headings, text, images and the like) to collapsible sub-pages using toggles, plus kanban boards and other layouts. You can also drop in more advanced building blocks like databases, tables, checklists and more, with plenty of customization options. Adding most elements is basically a click and you can drag items around to reorder them quickly. On top of that, Unsplash images and icons make the visual side much faster so it's easy to set up pages that are actually scannable.
Cons
Every now and then you run into parts that feel a bit fixed like my kanban board wouldn't let me add more than three workflow statuses. The good news is I was able to find simple workarounds for those limitations.

“Notion gallery sharing is awesome”
Pros
It has been really solid for me since I began using it last year. I'm especially into building galleries and then sharing them out like a mini website, all without leaving the app.
Cons
I'm still trying to go deeper into the platform so I'd love to see more tutorials added to their YouTube channel so learning everything is faster.

Pros
It's really simple for organizing ideas and collaborating with other people. Once you start using it, working together on thoughts and tasks feels much less chaotic.

“Embedded media plus real-time collaboration”
Pros
I'm really happy that I can embed media files directly into notes. The collaboration features are also a big win-multiple people can edit and leave comments at the same time so teamwork feels much more connected.
Cons
There's no built-in chat option for quick communication with collaborators so you have to use another channel to talk while working on the same notes.

“Looks pretty aesthetic”
Pros
The customizability really stands out. Anyone can shape it around their own needs and that flexibility is part of why it works for both my personal life and my career. The team also keeps improving things and rolling out new features which makes it feel like it's always moving forward. On top of that, the way everything looks and feels is pretty aesthetic so it's genuinely motivating to use it day to day.
Cons
The mobile app can be a little sluggish, pages take longer to load and editing on mobile feels awkward compared to a desktop setup. There's also a learning/setup effort involved, once you're trying to match it to your exact workflow, you may spend time figuring out what you need and which features to use. Templates help a lot for getting started but it can still take some tinkering to get it perfectly aligned.

Pros
I've been able to use it however I want, building to-do lists, jotting down memories, making databases and new features, creating Forms and then publishing everything through Notion sites.

“Capable free version”
Pros
I really love how much you can do in it even with a free account. The way it supports structure for organizing and linking information in lateral ways fits how my brain naturally works so it's been genuinely helpful for keeping everything connected.
Cons
It would be nice to have a bit more control over the page layout, specifically, more freedom to click and create elements in any spot, closer to what OneNote offers. Another downside is that it doesn't currently sync or integrate with my Outlook calendar which limits how I use it alongside my day-to-day scheduling.

Pros
It's been really helpful for staying organized and having everything in one spot. I also appreciate that I can use it on both my phone and my computer so I can pick up right where I left off.
