“Powerful features”
Pros
There are a ton of capabilities in this that could be genuinely groundbreaking if you already know how to use them.
Cons
If you're not familiar with the format or you don't understand the benefits of Notion, the whole thing won't feel as impactful for you.

“Handy markdown support”
Pros
Working in a creative role, I really appreciate having my writing and project notes all in one place. The markdown support is a big win for me, headings, paragraphs, lists and the rest of the formatting are all handled right in the document so I'm not hunting through menus to get the right option. I've also tapped into the built-in project management side a bit and it's convenient to stay inside the same platform instead of bouncing between tools.
Cons
The project management features feel a bit hit-or-miss and not as user-friendly as I'd want. When I compare it with tools like Monday.com, Asana or ClickUp, those options offer more powerful project management out of the box. I've ended up returning to them instead of spending the time to set up Notion in a way that matches how I actually work. I understand the whole idea behind it is that you can customize it to do anything but I don't really have the time-or interest-to build and tweak all those systems inside it. What I need is something that simply works so I can get things done faster and sometimes it's quicker to grab a pre-built tool than to figure out how to tailor it to the workflow I want.

“Sharing option is a nice touch”
Pros
I appreciate that I can set up pages, build trackers, use formulas and share my work publicly. Everything feels flexible and practical for organizing projects and the sharing option is a nice touch.
Cons
The templates they included are excellent but I'd love to see more tutorial videos tied to each template. That extra guidance would make it easier for users to learn the techniques and understand how the functions work.

“Excellent daily organization and sharing”
Pros
This has turned into a really useful tool for keeping my day-to-day life organized. I can create lists and recipes, share projects with others and generally keep related information in one place.
Cons
Occasionally it feels a little restrictive but overall it's a strong and dependable tool.

“Flexible database setup for teams”
Pros
There's a lot of flexibility to build a database that genuinely matches what the team or the whole company needs.
Cons
The search bar can be a bit hit or miss in terms of accuracy and the AI features don't feel as well developed as they could be.

“Strong templates and synced organization”
Pros
There are a lot of ways to organize your data and you can present it in different formats depending on what you need. Since it's online, your information stays synchronized across all your devices which is really convenient. On top of that, there are plenty of free templates available to help you set up your workspace without starting from scratch.
Cons
Getting started wasn't all that simple at first. I think it takes a bit of training or getting used to before you can fully use everything the app offers.

“Highly recommended”
Pros
I really enjoy how open-ended it is for building whatever I need. I've put together everything from project management setups to a knowledge repository and even a lightweight CRM, all within Notion. The modular approach and the way it can sync across different sources is genuinely impressive. I'm a big fan of Notion overall and I'd happily recommend it, there's a lot you can do with the free version too.
Cons
It's not the absolute best tool for project management but that's also not its original purpose. I also haven't used it with big teams for project management so I can't confirm how well it holds up at larger scale.

“Highly customizable workspace”
Pros
I'm really happy with how customizable it is. It lets me organize everything exactly how I want, whether that's quick notes or full projects, all in one place.
Cons
That said, the sheer number of features can be a little overwhelming at times and it can take a while to figure out the best setup for how you work.

“big help for brainstorming”
Pros
Project management works really well for me, it's been a big help for brainstorming, setting up lists organizing tasks and keeping my ideas in order. The built-in templates are genuinely a time-saver and everything is simple to access from both my computer and phone. Having offline access is a nice bonus too especially when I'm not always online.
Cons
Design customization is pretty limited and it doesn't seem suited for managing more complex projects. The interface can feel a bit complex at times and there are occasional lags when loading certain sections. Search isn't quite as sharp as I'd like and the overall setup can be a little tough to learn if you're new to organizational software.

“AI forced”
Pros
The app started with a solid, well-designed interface and it runs on multiple platforms. It also felt pretty dynamic and responsive and you get both free and paid plans.
Cons
Over time, AI ended up being pushed into basically every part of the product. After that, the option to disable it disappeared even for paid users. On top of that, the free plan changed in a way that feels like a bait-and-switch.

“Easy to track tasks”
Pros
It's been really simple to track, assign and manage projects and tasks. The workflow makes it simple to stay on top of what's happening and it keeps things organized without much hassle.
Cons
Occasionally I run into trouble figuring out how to move around inside the system which slows me down a bit when I'm trying to find specific sections.

“Best notes app I've seen”
Pros
It is hands down the best notes app I've used. I especially enjoy how you can organize everything inside projects and tasks and how flexible it is with different note types for example, keeping personal notes separate from task tracking. I also like that you can publish notes to the web without needing a specific domain and that sharing with teammates is simple, with others able to edit and update content easily.
Cons
There's a bit of a learning curve at the start but once the workflow clicks, the whole system feels excellent. I use it both for my personal notes and for managing projects with my team.

“Solid community support”
Pros
The platform feels simple to use and the community support is solid when you need help or want templates to get started. That combination made it much easier to move from setup to actual work without getting stuck.
Cons
Databases seem to run one way rather than being fully bi-directional. There are workarounds but they aren't exactly "for the faint of heart," so it can turn into extra hassle if you need proper two-way syncing.

“personalized dashboards”
Pros
Notion lets you build personalized dashboards, design your own layouts and organize your workflow exactly the way you want. There are also plenty of ready-made templates for things like calendars, collections, to-do lists and more. Sharing workspaces with colleagues feels pretty smooth and collaborating together doesn't get in the way. Plus, your notes sync across different devices regardless of the platform or OS, as long as you're logged into the app.
Cons
Editing notes offline isn't supported. I'd also love to see password-protected documents added as a missing feature.

“Helpful for shaping content strategy”
Pros
I picked up Notion mainly to get my work tasks under control and it didn't take long to see how useful it is for shaping my content strategy and running a social media calendar. The standout for me is the ability to save inspirational links and material from across the web without hogging storage on my computer or phone. I've also built tables and a calendar to monitor where each project stands and track progress in one place.
Cons
I also started using Notion Calendar alongside it and it can sync with Google Calendar. Since it's tied to the project-management table I created in Notion, the whole setup has been really helpful. One thing I'd still want is more calendar customization, right now everything is basically gray and it would be great to tweak the color scheme so different events and reminders are easier to spot at a glance.

Pros
The tool really stands out for its versatility and adaptability and the sandbox setup makes it easy to experiment without feeling locked in. I also appreciate how it supports different workflows while staying flexible as things change.

“Plenty of free features”
Pros
It was the first app I set up on my MacBook Pro to get my whole life organized. I use it to keep track of notes, monitor my coursework progress, draft documents, save bookmarks, publish public pages on the web and share info with other people. Even beyond those older workflows, they've been adding more customization and newer tools so I can really get the most out of the app. On top of that, there are plenty of free features that still make it a really solid option.
Cons
Something that's missing is an offline version which is a bit of a dealbreaker at times. I also wish there were options to disable the AI feature or at least use an API key through a non-Notion AI setup. More integrations would be great too though I haven't spent much time digging into that recently so there could be additional options I haven't noticed yet.

“Helps track personal habits”
Pros
Using it has been really helpful for me because I can build and track personal habits right inside the app and at the same time keep my business organized and under control using the built-in templates. Having both in one place makes it feel cohesive instead of splitting my workflow across different tools.
Cons
Since it offers so many features some tasks can feel a little complicated. That level of complexity doesn't always work in my favor especially because I often don't have time to sit through tutorial videos to figure things out.
