“simple interface with great calendar tool
Pros
It is pretty simple to figure out and use. The calendar feature is awesome too and both our team members and managers find clocking in and out really simple.
Cons
There was an update a while back that caused a lot of issues but I have to give them credit as they listened to feedback and rolled it back fast. Really smart move and we appreciate that.

“reassignment process is pretty simple
Pros
Events are displayed clearly, and reassigning people couldn't be simpler. It's one of those features that just works exactly how you'd hope it would.
Cons
It would be super helpful if there was a dedicated admin app. Right now trying to edit events from our phones is pretty tricky.

“Useful features but occasionally buggy
Pros
Two features I find incredibly useful are the ability to attach files directly to shifts and the announcement tool. Adding files makes sure everyone has what they need right in the shift and the announcement feature is perfect for sending quick, important updates to the whole team.
Cons
Although the desktop version can occasionally be buggy, Nowsta has overall made scheduling our team remarkably simple and efficient

The thing I really like is that moving between different sections of the software feels natural and hassle free!
Cons
It is hard to pick what I like least. The color-coding is useful but since I am a bit colorblind, reds and greens sometimes look the same to me.

“Ideal for big teams
Pros
Nowsta makes handling schedules for a big team a simple task. It lets us add notes to shifts for our staff, monitor their hours and attendance and keeps everything neatly organized so we can look things up easily.
Cons
The app feels a bit limited in what it can do as there is no fast way to tweak shifts unless we are on a computer.

Pros
It has totally changed how we operate in our field. It not only tracks hours for all our hourly team members but also handles multiple pay rates, performance reviews and more. So yes it is easily the top choice for managing time and attendance in large teams.
Cons
I noticed that the new features or improvements we suggest seem to take forever to actually get implemented.

Everything is user-friendly and flows logically. The technical support is outstanding, training was really helpful and we can access all the info we need with just a click.
Cons
One thing that would help is if the employee schedule view used dropdowns for everything as it would make navigation a lot smoother.

Pros
What I appreciate most is the instant visibility into team assignments and how many hours each person has worked. It's incredibly efficient and removes so much back-and-forth.
Cons
The mobile browser version is not as easy to use as it could be. I'd also love to sort the weekly schedule by confirmed hours, not just alphabetically.

Nowsta makes the whole booking process smooth for our workers. Also shifts are clearly listed with all the important details included.
Cons
Honestly it is pretty average as far as scheduling tools go. My company does not use the Earnings feature since it's pretty basic so we handle payroll through ADP instead.

It is a perfect match for our business. Features like comparing bill rates and pay rates are all included and work really well.
Cons
This app is great but it really needs a group chat for each event so our whole team can talk and plan together. Plus a central hub for all our important documents like training guides, would also be a massive help. These features are a must-have and adding them would make this app absolutely perfect.

The platform is really user friendly and it looks great plus its simple to navigate and making updates is pretty easy too. I even get a kick out of the funny little messages that pop up while refreshing. In short it turns the chaos of staffing and event planning into something totally manageable!
Cons
It is seriously awesome! I have been trying to find something I do not like about it and I honestly cannot. Everything just works perfectly.

What stands out to me is how simple it is to use and how easy it makes it to keep employees in the loop whether it's special instructions, directions or important announcements.
Cons
On the admin side, the pages do not refresh automatically when I move between them so I always have to hit refresh manually to see the latest updates.

It saves our team a tremendous amount of time every single week, especially with how frequently things change. The built-in messaging features are also a huge plus, allowing us to get the word out quickly whenever plans shift
Cons

Pros
One feature I find incredibly valuable is the ability to filter employees by their position. This makes building the schedule significantly faster and more efficient, as I can immediately see all available staff for a specific role.
Cons
There is no way to schedule shift requests to go out at a specific time in advance.

To be honest I am a fan of Nowsta because it is so simple and easy to use. Plus creating events, checking who's available and monitoring staffing levels for each event is also not an issue.
Cons
Since I am not the main account owner, I do not get any email notifications. All those messages go to the person who signed us up for it. I would love to be able to add my own email so I can see any messages the team sends through the platform.

Pros
What really stood out was how easy it is to use as both our staff and managers find the interface smooth and user friendly. Scheduling is simple too, tracking shifts is clear and communicating with the team works the best. Integration with payroll is another huge benefit as it cuts down on mistakes and saves us time. Plus the mobile app is super handy for staying connected and getting updates in real time.
Cons
One thing that could be better is how you customize notifications. Sometimes the alerts come through way too often which gets overwhelming when we are busy scheduling. The platform is solid overall but every now and then a technical hiccup slows things down or causes confusion. It'd also help if customer support was available later especially for those of us working nights or weekends.

It is fast and simple to check who is available among our front-of-house team and schedule them accordingly. Also I love being able to add notes to individual shifts as we use it to track what new hires are learning and where they can grow. Overall it is a great all-around tool for keeping communication clear and documenting progress.
