As per my experience I can say that the software is quite simple and easy to use. Also it simplifies day to day functions.

Cons

Generating reports can be a bit complex and the reports themselves look quite substandard.

The setup and usage of PayClock have been very easy from the day one. Which was quite surprising for me. And if I ever need assistance, the tech support is always friendly and provides immediate answers.

I genuinely cannot think of anything I like the least about PayClock.

I love the softwares simplicity and the excellent reporting capabilities.

I found it inconvenient that the "set up" appointment didn't cover parameters such as PTO accruals, report pulling and general instructions. It would have been most beneficial to learn not only how to set up a few test employees but also how to efficiently use the software for all the necessary capabilities without having to contact customer support again.

This software is user friendly and has much more functionality than we using for now. However I amm confident that the additional features will be there to assist us when we need them.

At times I have to search for the functions that I rarely use. I think Having a search function or a user guide would be beneficial in addition to the available training videos.

I like the self correcting feature when employees accidentally have an extra punch in or out. I can delete the incorrect punch with an easy and one more thing is that it automatically adjusts the time.

The fingerprint scanner is very difficult for some employees to use. I wish there were more options in the phone app.

There are many available functions that we don't use. I would like the PTO to be automatically calculated once we enter the accrual rates, which should be added at the end of each pay period.

It was a bit hard to figure out how to poll the time clock after a power outage but it's not a significant issue to navigate.

The report feature is easy to use and correcting punches is quick. The setup schedule is very good, although the only issue is the lack of space to write SSN and employee exemptions.

I really like the one ability specifically that it allows to track data and employees.

The software is NOT intuitive. I am very disappointed in that. We also need to call in approximately every three months to get everything reset. We experience cloud issues with this system. It even displays the message on the time clock itself.

The reporting and exporting features, as well as the ease of editing hours are notable.

The fingerprint feature is not consistent. So we ended up using badges instead. It would be great if I could click and drag times to different spots. For instance, if someone thought they clocked in but it either failed to register or they forgot altogether, the clock-out time appears in the "clock in" spot. Instead of retyping it I would like the ability to click and drag it to the clock-out spot.

PayClock is highly reliable and offers excellent customer service when needed. It is effortless to convert reports to PDF for printing and saving on the PC.

It is not possible to remove employees from the list if they leave the company. You can deactivate them but not delete them. Additionally you can only input four punches in any given day.

As an administrator, I like how easy it is to navigate and make any necessary adjustments.

Time to time my employees complain about the app not working. Usually they need to delete and reinstall the app, which resolves the problem. Even though the issue is minor but not convenient.

The reports are highly functional and the ability to select date ranges is something I like the most. Also changing departments on the fly is much more convenient compared to other software I have used.

The QuickBooks integration can be a bit challenging. Especially if you have multiple QuickBooks companies.

The software is intuitive and easy to set up. Adding and terminating staff is equally simple and the help center will guide you through the process if needed. Mainly if you have low turnover.

The initial software bugs seem to have disappeared. I can't say anything negative. The engineers have listened to our feedback and made it very intuitive.
