Most effective, efficient timekeeping system on the market

Pros

This was the first and only program I found that could accommodate multiple departments with different payroll rules. such as part time, full-time, PRN, shift differentials, salaried versus non-salaried etc all departments reports are easily managed now, all credit goes to the PayClock.

Cons

The only downside I have noticed so far is that each pay period needs to be closed out by each department individually, rather than being able to close out the entire pay period at once. It would be helpful to have an option to close it out all at once without going through so many steps.

We seamlessly transitioned our in house wall clock to the cloud.

Cons

It would be great if it could integrate with my existing QuickBooks payroll account. Nevertheless it is still very simple to use.

Easy Transition

Pros

ParClock is an efficient software and It is very rare that I encounter any issues. Even if I do, the tech team promptly resolves them, making bookkeeping and payroll a hassle free task.

Cons

Whenever I have changes in employees, I have to contact the tech department to update and synchronize QuickBooks and PayClock. This is something that takes time!

It's easily accessible from anywhere, user-friendly and cloud-based.

Cons

When I initially started using PayClock Online, there were a few instances when it was unavailable due to some Microsoft issues. This occurred a couple of years ago and hasn't happened since. The only complaint I have now is that it can be slow at times.

Very Helpful

Pros

The product works wonderfully for us specifically. My employees can easily clock in using a card when they are at the office and when they are not around they can also use the app and stay stress free.

The company lacks integrity - they sell a maintenance package and replace with subpar equipment

Pros

It is user friendly but our original machine started malfunctioning. The sad part is that even after we complaint, the support didn't resolve the issue adequately.

Cons

The companys support lacks honesty after the sale. They misrepresented the maintenance program and failed to provide the agreed upon equipment in their replacement program. Their representative provided incorrect information and the salesperson didn't honor the quote and attempted to upsell.

Payclock is great

Pros

It makes staff hour tracking easier for us. also it offers multiple clock-in options including phone, online and our time clock. Employees can effortlessly clock in and our HR department can log in to manage everything from any computer at any time. This is something that makes our work easy and smooth.

Cons

The time clock still needs to remain connected to one computer to function properly. and when the connection is lost everything gets messed up. I am not sure if this is a software issue or a issue from our side though.

Payclock Online keeps crashing

Pros

When it is functioning properly, the website and software are fairly intuitive and provide decent reports that I use for payroll. The availability of a mobile app is convenient for our truckers who are constantly on the road and don't have access to a physical PayClock terminal.

Cons

The previous two payroll periods were at risk of being delayed because PayClock Online experienced downtime and their website crashed. During the most recent incident, the site was down for a day and a half before it was restored. This is the only issue I faced till this date.

Pros

The software is relatively easy to use when it's not crashing as many other software do.

Cons

In the past two weeks alone the software has experienced two instances of downtime. When the software is down I am unable to perform any functions. This is not acceptable at all. Not for me specially

Great Time Clock

Pros

It is easier to use and our employees had no trouble transitioning from our previous system. It offers any report you need. it is cost effective and I also love the GPS clock-in option. This option is perfect for our district managers who frequently travel between locations.

Cons

The only problem we encountered was a delay in punches. Sometimes it took anywhere from 10 to 60 seconds for the punch to process. but we have experienced similar delays with other time clock systems as well. However in other aspects the software is ok as compared to others

Straightforward, Simple, Reliable

Pros

The software is very much easy and simple to set up, use and connect to the terminals. The associated documentation is in detail and sensibly organized. If I ever need assistance from Lathem, their customer service personnel are the best. They are knowledgeable and go the extra mile to help. Overall the software features are impressive and the reporting functions are excellent.

Cons

If an employee forgets to punch in or out and it goes unnoticed for a few days, it becomes really hard to correctly input the time records into their respective columns.
