“good value for money”
Pros
At the price, it delivers a lot of value. It's really useful to see exactly which task is up next and to quickly reorder priorities when plans shift. The description and comment areas do a good job of keeping all task-related details and conversations together in one spot. Markdown support is another big plus because it makes formatting much more flexible. I've been using Tracker for more than two years and it's been nice to watch the product keep improving. The updates are consistently thoughtful and useful and they don't force you to relearn the platform or get used to major changes all over again. Beyond the software itself, the Tracker community and blog have also been valuable for best practices and for seeing how other teams and organizations are using the tool.
Cons
On smaller teams and projects, the point estimation feature and a lot of the deeper analytics haven't really been very useful for helping us make practical decisions. That said, I can understand how those tools would be much more valuable on the right type of project especially for larger teams with a lot of collaborators.
