Difficult to use sometimes.
Pros

It is a fantastic tool to utilize, particularly when managing many sites. Planview and Microsoft Project are highly similar, which makes implementation simpler. It is also useful for monitoring finances across many projects.

Cons

The interface makes it difficult to find allocated projects and line items to show expenditures and add time tracking to them. Although the portal is simple to use, new users may find the interface challenging.

Good for time tracking.
Pros

There are a lot of features we love about this software. For example, allocating resources to the person per the CAPEX and OPEX budget codes and reporting capabilities such as project status, estimated vs. actual hours worked etc. It is also helpful in managing the project portfolio.

Cons

It is challenging to use due to a steep learning curve. It does regularly crash and glitch, and there is no way to quickly fix a mistake. When your business is working on many different projects, and the navigation and search features frequently dont perform properly, it can become inconvenient.

Works, but not too easy.
Pros

Even though it has only been a few months since we switched to Planview from another software, I wish we had done it sooner. Working with it and obtaining the information we require has been great. I particularly appreciate the opportunities for financial analysis across several projects.

Cons

The names of several of the columns in Planview dont make sense, which is what I like least about it. For instance, "Project Start Date" stops displaying the accurate project date after the project begins. Also, not all but some of the employees have found the software difficult to use.

A mostly positive experience
Pros

The feature I love the most is that email-based users can be unlimited so any visitors or temporary workers do not end up costing us extra. User interface is very intriguing.

Cons

They have an online self help portal but that seems unfinished. Tech support is useless as well.

Clarizen is a great project management tool
Pros

Customer support team is so amazing I cannot stop praising them. I had formulated a system that would automate my work and Planview team actually went ahead and made it a full-fledged feature for us!

Cons

PM tool itself is good but we had some other priorities
Pros

It is very similar to MS projects and if you are switching from that to Planview then you will find it easy to adjust. It is somewhat cheaper than MS projects when comparing overall.

Cons

MS projects is plagued with so many complications. Sadly, Planview has followed suit. It is not capable of handling all our requirements from a PM software.

Everything we needed to take our team to the next level!
Pros

We have been effectively managing so many of our projects at the same time while having insights on how to make better business decisions.

Cons

Complex business problems needs complex software but the implementation is where it all went sideways for us. Transition should have been easier.
