Range helps in eliminating redundant calls by providing comprehensive task view
Pros

I love how I can effortlessly update and track the tasks I've completed or currently working on by sharing a check-in. It's also convenient to edit or add tasks if needed.

Cons

As a newcomer, it would be helpful to have some UI improvements, such as informative tooltips, to better understand the different parts of the dashboard and how to use them effectively.

Keep connected with the Pleco Team in a Virtual world
Pros

It made reporting updates enjoyable and hassle-free. It's a great way to stay updated on what other team members are working on day-to-day.

Cons

Going through the check-in process every day became tiresome at times.

Range has range!
Pros

Having a simple way to post daily standup updates, consolidate them into single posts, and have cross-team groups has been a fantastic feature. I can easily keep my team informed even when I'm in meetings by posting my Range update. The daily sentiment updates are also fascinating since we can share how we're feeling.

Cons

There are numerous additional features, like meetings and OKRs, that I don't utilize as much. I feel like I'm paying for them in addition to the core features I use. While I've had success using them in the past, their usefulness depends on team participation and doesn't always align with how I report.

Great For Keeping Virtual Teams Connected
Pros

I love that it helps our team members stay informed about our daily priorities, and it's super easy to check in directly from Slack or within Range itself. But my favorite feature has to be the unique daily questions. Our team has discovered so many interesting things about each other that wouldn't have come up in conversation otherwise.

Cons

The only thing I desire is the ability to conduct company-wide check-ins in addition to smaller team check-ins.

Keep your team aligned
Pros

It offers numerous integrations that allow me to quickly update my team about my day. It saves me a lot of time and ensures my focus points are readily available for my team.

Cons

Understanding how to set goals and utilize certain features can still be a bit challenging. It's a good feature, but it could benefit from further simplification.

Ome of the best communication resorces I have been provided
Pros

I appreciate the ability to connect and network effortlessly with my team.

Cons

Some functionalities are deeply buried, making them time-consuming to access. Additionally, while it's convenient to have the ability to use multiple platforms for phone calls, I've encountered issues when receiving a call on one platform while trying to make a call on another.

Digital Checkin
Pros

The integration with Google is a game-changer. I don't have to retype what happened or our plans. Additionally, the insightful questions help foster team bonding and give a glimpse into how other team members feel.

Cons

I haven't explored much, but I wanted the option to customize the questions.

Best tool for (remote) stand-ups
Pros

This is the ultimate tool for replacing daily standups. If face-to-face meetings aren't necessary, Range does an excellent job of providing transparency on everyone's tasks.

Cons

The tracking of "objectives" and progress could be improved. Using hashtags can be inconvenient, especially when dealing with multiple objectives.

Range is the easiest way to stay in sync with your remote team
Pros

Setting it up was incredibly simple, and the Slack integration made it seamlessly blend with our team's daily workflow!

Cons

Navigating the UX of Objectives can be challenging, and we continue to discover hidden features as we explore further. I'm particularly interested in using Objectives as a lighter alternative to tools like TeamGantt, but it's not quite at that level yet.

Pros

As someone who's not the most organized, I'm always on the lookout for an integrated tool that my team can use and collaborate on. After nearly 30 years of working, Range is the first solution that meets my needs.

Range is the tool we were missing!
Pros

The product is incredibly user-friendly, and my team members have easily understand it. It's a clean, helpful, and enjoyable way to collaborate. Range offers an intelligent approach to our daily stand-ups. The Range team has been amazing to engage with and has been receptive to my feedback and ideas. It's challenging to pick a favorite feature since it's a significant improvement over the other tools we've used. Overall, the best aspects are the development of team culture, cohesion, and collaboration that Range encourages.

Cons

It's challenging because the developers and designers have done an outstanding job with this product. One issue is that we work across different time zones, including weekends. So, team members who work on Saturdays receive the Monday check-in question "How was your weekend?".

Nice Approach to OKR's
Pros

I'm impressed by the organization of Range. It's clear where to find everything. Understanding the OKR philosophy is key to making sense of any OKR software, and Range seamlessly aligns with that philosophy. I particularly love the meeting features, including the 1:1s. The culture feature is something I've always looked for in an OKR solution, and Range excels in fostering a winning culture, even for remote teams.

Cons

Some integrations require webhooks, which may be necessary but slightly diminish my user experience.

Great, easy software to consolidate work, teams, agendas and meetings
Pros

This software is straightforward and brief. It focuses on a few key sections, so I never feel overwhelmed or lost. The meeting manager is fantastic, allowing us to conduct interactive sessions with ease. The user interface is simple, friendly, and avoids a formal approach, making it easy for new users to adapt.

Cons

It's a web-based software. Although you can download the app, it always redirects you to the webpage and requires signing in with a link.

Clean and awesome UI for powering Max efficiency
Pros

The UI is extremely user-friendly, and the workflows are cool and efficient. It only takes minutes to get accustomed to it. The integrations with calendar, JIRA, GitHub, and Slack are exceptional, and I love the drag-and-drop feature for detailed status updates.

Cons

Some of the settings are a bit hidden. Occasionally, we need to remove a user, so there is room for improvement in this area.

Range Review
Pros

I have the ability to generate a task list and easily share it with the team once I've checked in. It can seamlessly integrate with various software applications.

Cons

Initially, I had to figure out how to do daily check-ins and ensure they were published. It's not really an issue anymore since I quickly figured it out, even though I took my time. Can I do check-ins without publishing them to my team?

I like using it, not sure I would pay for it
Pros

The reminders to use Range, the integration with Google Calendar (previously, I had to refer to multiple tabs for list-building), and the daily team question are all notable features.

Cons

I don't fully understand the meeting function. I think having a better understanding of how I could use it would be helpful. While it reduces some friction for tasks my team would do anyway, I'm not sure if the slight reduction in friction is worth paying for.

Ruthless Efficiency Making Way For Human Connection
Pros

The daily personal question humanizes my teammates in an exaggerated way. It reminds me that we're all individuals, even though we may not always perceive each other that way. Having this experience daily reinforces that understanding.

Cons

Sometimes the integrations with GitHub, JIRA, and Google Calendar provide questionable suggestions. If I forget to provide an update, it sometimes gives suggestions from the week, but on a few occasions, I've received suggestions from months ago due to some glitches.

A happy user of Range
Pros

It resolves all the issues associated with daily stand-ups. Tracking the history, interacting with colleagues, and receiving reminders for future tasks are all effortless with Range.

Cons

I use Range as my initial step in my daily work, where I write down my daily check-in. The only complaint I have is that I have to click on the "daily check-in" option in the menu instead of it popping up in my view from the start.

A daily drumbeat for my team
Pros

Range makes it incredibly simple to stay updated on my team's progress and emotions. Especially during the remote work caused by the coronavirus lockdown, this feature has become invaluable. It provides an easy way for everyone to comprehend the team's current situation.

Cons

The meeting feature is good, but it's not quite suitable for us. We ended up customizing the concept and using a Google Doc for more flexibility. I would love to see more customization options here.

Range is a great to-do list
Pros

I adore the Daily Check-in feature it's the primary feature I use. I appreciate the ability to create a task list for the day, and the automatic checking of tasks associated with calendar events (such as meetings).

The easiest way to support agile, remote work and workers
Pros

Our team is widely dispersed, with over 50 individuals across three continents and various sites. Range helps me establish shared objectives for the team and provides a comprehensive view of everyone's tasks. I love how it connects updates to goals and effectively highlights obstacles and concerns. The additional trust-building questions are the cherry on top.

Cons

It heavily relies on G-Suite. That worked well in my previous company, where we were deeply entrenched in the Google ecosystem. However, it's a bit more challenging in a Microsoft tools world (Office, Sharepoint, Outlook). It's not impossible, but it does require some extra effort.

Helps keep everyone in the loop!
Pros

The feature that allows me to get an overview of everyone's activities and conduct efficient meetings while taking notes enables me to prioritize my day during the check-in process.

Cons

The notes and topics section during meetings can be a bit confusing. We edit the topic, but it doesn't save as a note unless we add a note separately. I find this additional step unnecessary, and it could be streamlined.

Great tool for teams
Pros

Range greatly assists our team in multiple ways. We operate from different campuses (now all remote), and it's our go-to tool for staying on the same page. In fact, it's the best tool for the job. Range's daily check-ins ensure we not only know what tasks people are working on but also how they're doing. The platform's simplicity is truly remarkable.

Cons

The best thing about Range is the transparency it brings within a team and among teams. If you're not comfortable with that level of transparency, it might be difficult for you. But it hasn't been an issue for us.
