“One of the best in the market for time tracking and invoicing.
Pros
At first glance, Rodeo might look to be very complicated since it has a lot of information to present on the dashboard. However, it is one of the easiest and simple software I have ever used, and that’s coming from an IT professional. We used it essentially for time tracking in the beginning which helped me with payments and eventually we moved toward project management. It has been great at managing resources to support the project’s progress. I have also kept track of my invoices so that there are minimal monetary losses if any. We used to do everything on paper but it’s all now digital thanks to Rodeo.
Cons
It has integration with QuickBooks but I have often seen our accountants using the standalone QuickBooks app and upon inquiry, they said that it just “doesnt work for them”. This is not my personal domain so I cannot comment further on this. However, I would appreciate it if they added a calculator app within the software so that I can quickly crunch numbers instead of going for my phone or desk calculator every time.

“Good for project management and resource planning.
Pros
The way Rodeo works are kind of like an auditor. It would observe and start collecting data on your day-to-day business proceedings. And would then highlight the areas of concern and where we could perform better or remove an element altogether to save resources. Rodeo has surely created a safe space for us to have an insight into our company’s performance in terms of budget and time management. We know exactly where our money is being spent and if there’s a need to increase (or decrease) our budget in order to complete the task effectively while staying within limits.
Cons
Rodeo was fairly new when we started working with them since we had a relatively lower IT budget back then. The feature set Rodeo offered was very limited but so were our ways of working.

“Money spent right! Rodeo is well worth your investment once you start seeing how well it works.
Pros
All the company’s resources have been made transparent thanks to Rodeo. Transparent in the sense that everyone knows when and where a resource is being used to aid the project’s progress. This has reduced our losses and wastages and made our organization much more efficient. The time tracking feature has also helped us make sure the employees are working as they should and that the time and money of our company are not being spent unfairly. It has helped create a sense of responsibility. After careful observations, we have now allocated fixed budgets for everything and no matter what anyone says, we know that a certain task can definitely be done within its allotted budget.
Cons
The integrations provided are limited. A business like ours has a lot of documents in different places, uses a lot of software to manage different activities, so we found it really hard to make the transition. I feel like there should have been more integrations to assist with maintaining our existing tech stack and data. Gradual introduction to the features that eliminate the need for integrations would help us ultimately make the switch entirely to Rodeo, which would be more cost-effective and easier to manage in the long run.

“It is great for meeting the project management needs of a small company.
Pros
It is easy to train employees on using Rodeo. Eventually, they can log their time spent themselves for the convenience of their supervisors/managers using the time cards feature. There’s no ambiguity this way and everyone is responsible for their own hours. Rodeo promotes effective time management and all the projects in our company have either been completed on time or a bit before that with the highest quality results. The time tracking features ensure that every bill is made right and everyone is paid fairly. All the employees have access to timetables and can plan their own workflows depending on how well the project has been going.
Cons
There are a lot of good options on the market with more affordable price tags. Rodeo cannot stand itself apart based on its current offerings, in my opinion. Sure it works great and as intended but they are charging much more for merely any new features above what competitors can offer. Time tracking sometimes is not always reliable because we had complaints that people have been compensated less than they earned/worked since the time Rodeo showed us differed from their actual time by a margin.

“My first rodeo with Rodeo software was amazing
Pros
This past week, my employer took me to my first rodeo with Rodeo software. When it comes to keeping tabs on hours worked, money spent, and money received, there is no better tool than this one. My manager suggested I try out this program. Even though he prefers paper, this program puts all of his resources at his disposal. Managing a campaign is straightforward and user-friendly. We gained so much information from Rodeo that we knew exactly what to improve and how. There is not much of a learning curve with this UI.
Cons
It would be fantastic to hear more specifics and see some concrete instances of the recent improvements. Finding fault with a company that consistently meets or exceeds expectations for product quality and customer service is challenging. They are always abreast of the most recent CMS standards in use today. They are open to suggestions and are constantly honing their product. Neither the function nor its interface is perfect, yet this does not hinder the user in any way. The program is fantastic in terms of ease, and I can only hope that the company fixes the few issues I brought up.

Pros
Rodeo is an excellent project management solution that provides a robust framework for our medium-sized organization. It always amazes me when it comes to managing and organizing company resources. We are enhancing our productivity by splitting projects, and the timesheet is an amazing feature that helps us keep our team on track. We can monitor the time spent on every task and keep the employees in check. The automated invoicing feature estimates bills and sends them directly to our clients without any hassle.
Cons
The software is a bit pricey but very valuable for the features it offers. The software has a steep learning curve for new users, and it can be quite a task to learn the functionalities of the software. The user interface is not very intuitive, and some features have delayed responses. Whenever there is a new software update, the system gets slowed down, and we encounter a few glitches. The customer service is subpar. When we encountered a problem, the response time from the support team was significantly delayed.
