“ideal for one-on-one conversations”
Pros
Being able to chat one-on-one with a specific teammate while also keeping group conversations going at the same time is really useful.
Cons
The downside is having to be extremely careful when replying so the right response goes to the correct teammate or channel.

“Helpful team features”
Pros
It covers the core features needed to keep a team connected and organized. It's simple to use and while it doesn't feel overloaded with options, the features it does offer are genuinely useful. The ability to integrate it with other services is also a big plus and can be really helpful when needed.
Cons
the software can be buggy. It sometimes crashes during audio or video calls and the notification system could definitely be better.

“Practical messaging and quality meetings”
Pros
It packs in a lot of useful features. It's simple to use, the messaging itself is fast and practical and the pricing feels reasonable. It also works really well for meeting management, with excellent sound and video quality, plus convenient data sharing.
Cons
it's hard to point out many weak spots because it's an excellent program overall. If anything, uploading large files could be faster and the free version has its limitations which is fairly expected.

“Lets me post content to other sites”
Pros
Having separate channels for my team while still being able to jump into department-wide conversations works really well. I also appreciate being able to share files, videos and use the SharePoint feature to post content from LinkedIn, YouTube, Udemy, Guru99 and similar platforms.
Cons
One thing that's challenging is remembering the points covered on a specific day. It would be really helpful to have a search option where I could enter the topics discussed that day and quickly find them again later.

“Helps us handle customer issues fast”
Pros
Remote work makes fast communication one of the toughest parts of the job and this tool really solves that. It lets people connect instantly no matter where they're located which helps us handle customer issues much faster. I'm able to reply to requests right away, answer questions and share resources quickly and that has helped reduce customer escalations. Honestly, I see it as one of the biggest reasons our teams consistently earn high customer service satisfaction ratings.
Cons
Because everything happens in real time, conversations can move very quickly which may feel a little overwhelming for new users at first. That said, most people get comfortable with it pretty quickly after using it for a short time. The emojis and symbols also help reduce confusion and become familiar faster than expected.

“Lovely 'Pause notifications' option”
Pros
Having audio and video calls, file and media sharing, screen sharing, channels, subgroups and chat all in one place makes teamwork much more convenient. The search feature is especially useful because I can quickly pull up a message or file without scrolling through endless conversations. I also rely on the "Pause notifications" option when I'm off work and don't want messages coming in. It's an excellent tool because my team can handle all of our collaboration in a single platform.
Cons
I honestly can't think of any downsides especially since the bugs I noticed early on were resolved and it has been working well for me for over two years now.

“accessible program”
Pros
Communication and support feel very simple with Slack. It's simple to access so staying connected with the group and being included in conversations happens naturally.
Cons

“Voice and screen sharing features stand out”
Pros
Pretty much everything worked really well. The voice calls and quick screen sharing were especially useful and without those features it would have been annoying to keep switching back and forth between Slack and Google Meet.
Cons
The only issue was that the voice would randomly cut off at times which was frustrating.

“Long list of features”
Pros
It has completely changed how Agile delivery teams collaborate and communicate. It comes with a long list of genuinely useful features. The "remind me about it" option on messages is especially helpful and the ability to use shared channels across different workspaces is a big advantage. It also handles messages really well with features like pinning, linking and other organization tools. Another strong point is how easily apps like Miro and MS SharePoint can be added and used within it. On top of that, the interface is very well designed, the notification sounds are pleasant, navigation is simple, audio and video quality are clear, file sharing is convenient and even using Giphy feels very natural.
Cons
A couple of things are still missing though. It does not let you set a virtual background and there is also no option to turn a chat thread directly into an email.

“flexible bots and fun emojis”
Pros
Getting started with it was quick and rolling it out didn't take much effort either. The interface is simple to use, the customer support has been reliable and the ability to support custom bots for notifications really helps with communication management. The customizable emojis are also a fun touch and genuinely enjoyable to use.
Cons
The video chat isn't quite as polished as Microsoft Teams although it still works well enough overall.

“Google Drive integration”
Pros
It has been a very versatile tool for our team especially when it comes to communication and sharing files. The Google Drive integration works really well and makes collaboration much more convenient.
Cons
I'd still like to see better notification customization. Right now, there's no way to tailor notifications by workspace or by individual channel.

“Convenient to share source code”
Pros
It makes it really convenient to share source code, documents and media like images, audio and videos all in one place. The interface is simple and compact so it doesn't feel cluttered while working. It also connects well with third-party tools such as Google Drive, Zoom, Outlook and plenty of others which makes collaboration much more practical.
Cons
At times, the app says there's no internet connection even when I'm clearly online. The search function can also be a bit confusing when I'm trying to find something quickly instead of actually helping. On rare occasions, I also miss the notification sound.

“Handy when I'm on vacation”
Pros
Even when I'm away on vacation, I can still rely on it to keep everything moving. It's really helpful being able to chat and message employees and my manager while I'm out.
Cons
I do wish it included video conferencing like Zoom because that would be amazing when I'm on vacation or away and need that option. My biggest complaint is the occasional outage. I know they're working on it but when it happens, it really impacts our business.

“packed with useful features”
Pros
There's a wide range of useful features in Slack that I get to use every day and that's something I really appreciate as a regular user.

“group spaces for different people”
Pros
Having separate channels and group spaces for different people really helps keep teams organized and makes managing tasks a lot better.

“Cross-team collaboration”
Pros
Across the organization, communication feels instant with it and that really improves collaboration between different teams. It also connects with a wide range of other services like Calendar, Zoom, Polly and more which makes it one of the most useful tools a company can have while keeping things convenient for users. Fast and reliable.

“Helpful for capturing employee opinions”
Pros
It works well for both one-on-one chats and group conversations. It lets teams create multiple channels which helps keep discussions organized. On top of regular communication, it's also useful for routine notifications. One feature I really appreciate is the message scheduler since I can draft messages in advance and have them sent at a specific time later. It also includes several polling options which are helpful for gathering feedback and capturing employee opinions.
Cons
There are quite a few features in Slack that many users are still not aware of. Also, when a large volume of messages comes in across teams or channels, newer updates can quickly get buried and be missed. Another limitation is that it depends entirely on having an internet connection so staying connected is always necessary to use it.

“Cool screen-sharing annotation feature”
Pros
Huddle mode has been really handy for quick check-ins with coworkers since I don't have to set up a Google Meet every time. The screen-sharing annotation feature is also super helpful especially when I'm troubleshooting with someone and need to point things out in real time. On top of that, Slack has a lot of useful integrations. The ones I appreciate most are Google Calendar which automatically updates my status to "Having a meeting" and reminds me before meetings start and Freshworks which keeps our ticket notifications flowing in nicely.
Cons
if I open a notification on my phone, it sometimes doesn't show up properly on my laptop and the same happens the other way around.
