“Fantastic chat and screen sharing features”
Pros
The interface looks polished and the chat features along with screen sharing work really well.
Cons
The pricing feels a bit expensive and navigation can get frustrating when there are lots of rooms set up across multiple teams.

“search function is superb”
Pros
Keeping in touch with coworkers is really simple with it. The search function is especially impressive and makes tracking down a specific conversation incredibly simple.
Cons
Most of the interface feels very user-friendly but some of the extra features can be a little less obvious at first. It can take a moment to figure out how to start a call or attach a file. I also wish there were a way to increase how many direct team member channels appear in the sidebar since it defaults to a set number and only shows the most recent ones.

“Friendly features”
Pros
It comes with user-friendly features that aren't complicated, even for people without an IT background so it's very simple to use. The real-time messaging through chats and calls is especially valuable and plays a big role in supporting business growth.
Cons
Video conferencing doesn’t work for me especially on a mobile phone because it tends to freeze quite often.

“Better team alignment”
Pros
Across several organizations I've worked with, we've used it to improve collaboration a lot. It keeps the team aligned and cuts down on confusion which makes communication feel more professional. Sharing files is also quicker and that helps us work more efficiently overall.
Cons
File transfers are fast and that's one of the biggest reasons we prefer using it.

“Far better than other platforms”
Pros
It comes with a huge range of integrations and that makes communication feel really smooth for our remote team. It's been far better than any other professional messaging platform I've used and I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone.
Cons
The mobile app still needs some attention. There are times when alerts appear in my phone notifications but never show up in the actual thread. Reactions can get applied and then not display properly, notifications are sometimes delayed, integrated apps aren't always easy to reach and mobile search could definitely be better.

“Top-tier integrations and collaboration”
Pros
It really set the pace when it comes to integrations with other software, remote team collaboration tools, file upload quality and chat management. Those are only some of the standout features it introduced early and then other platforms started following its lead.
Cons
After using it for years, it's easy to end up with what feels like an endless number of chats, groups and messages. The search function does a very good job but the overall UX can feel a little overwhelming at times.

“Stellar on desktop and mobile”
Pros
Across four years of using it, the accessibility has been excellent. Both the desktop and mobile versions perform really well and we still haven't run into a single bug.
Cons
Something we'd still like changed is the forced general channel. Every new member is automatically given access to it and we'd prefer having the option to remove that channel from our workspace.

“Real sense of community”
Pros
During remote and hybrid work, this has been a huge advantage. It's impressive how something as simple as instant messaging can build a real sense of community and make coworkers feel like they're right there with you. The integrations are excellent too.
Cons
The call interface isn't really my favorite but I usually just use /zoom to start a Zoom call instead.

“Would gladly recommend”
Pros
Back when I first came across Slack about three years ago, it was something I had to start using for office work. After a few days, I genuinely grew to love it. It keeps people connected across the world with real-time messaging and team chats, no matter where everyone is located. I'd gladly recommend this user-friendly software to anyone who wants to stay engaged and passionate about their work. It also gives us video calls, audio calls and plenty of other useful features. Definitely worth trying.
Cons
It has limitations when it comes to tracking older data. That part can definitely be better.

“Valuable during COVID-19”
Pros
Right from the start, the interface and overall experience with this software have been excellent. It's built in a very user-friendly way so even new users can get comfortable with it quickly. It also brings together a strong set of integrated features like video calls, audio calls and screen sharing which have been extremely useful for our teams. This product was especially valuable during COVID-19.
Cons
pricing sits in the mid-tier range. Even though it is offered by Microsoft, it feels like it could be a bit more affordable especially for smaller teams and SMB businesses.

“Stay connected everywhere”
Pros
With our head office in one place and teachers spread across the country, staying in touch is essential and this handles that really well. We use it for chat, online meetings, sharing audio and files and the notifications come through right away whether we're traveling or sitting in the office.
Cons
At first, figuring out how to move around all the different features can feel a bit overwhelming especially for anyone who isn't very comfortable with technology but with support from more experienced staff it quickly starts to feel user friendly.

“No chance of losing important threads”
Pros
It makes team communication really convenient with its instant messaging and I especially appreciate how organized it feels to use. Being able to separate conversations into different channels for a workspace helps keep everything in order and avoids the usual hassle of losing important threads or information.
Cons

Pros

“Strong features for busy teams”
Pros
It is simple to use and comes packed with strong features for busy teams and large communities. It's been really helpful for reducing Zoom fatigue thanks to its mix of async communication tools and real-time options especially Huddle.
Cons
No major complaints at this point though the pricing could be more competitive since Discord offers plenty of similar features for free.

“capable and valuable”
Pros
It feels very professional and that really shows in the range of features it offers. It's a very worthwhile app overall and I'd definitely recommend it because of how capable and valuable it is.
Cons
At the same time, the app's optimization could be better. It tends to feel a bit too demanding when it's running alongside other programs I use more often on my computer like the Adobe suite or even the browser itself.

“Messaging feels immediate”
Pros
One of the best things about it is how immediate the messaging feels and it's also really useful that it includes video and audio calling. The integrations with other tools like Google and Dropbox fit in smoothly and make it even more convenient to use.
Cons
I do wish there were more advanced options for renaming sorting and titling chat threads, along with better control over how notifications are received. Threads can sometimes get buried and when you have a lot of conversations open, it becomes difficult to stay on top of specific chats especially when managing multiple cross-company discussion lines.
