“Keeps me updated all the time”
Pros
Getting started with it is very simple and the setup doesn't take much effort. The chat feature is excellent and screen sharing is really helpful during meetings. Real-time notifications also keep you updated at all times.
Cons
Finding working groups on mobile can be a bit tricky at times. It feels much more convenient to use and navigate on desktop than on mobile.

“valuable for cross-team collaboration”
Pros
Keeping in touch with the rest of my team was simple and the platform offers a lot of features that were really valuable for cross-team collaboration and project management. It brings together the best parts of other messaging tools in a way that fits business use perfectly.
Cons
honestly not much to criticize though the interface could be a bit more user-friendly when handling a lot of different conversations at the same time.

“Channel-wide announcements work brilliantly”
Pros
One of the most useful things about it is the tagging feature along with channel-wide announcements because it lets everyone who needs the message see it at the same time. It also works really well for teammates in different time zones since they can catch the update when they're available.
Cons
There really isn't much to complain about since it covers pretty much everything I need from it. The only small limitation is that inside a channel thread, there's no way to announce something or tag the entire channel with a command. Other than that, it works perfectly.

“On another level!!”
Pros
After using Teams, Skype and a bunch of other weaker tools, this one is still on another level. Nothing really compares to how well it works for internal company communication and it also comes with a wide range of extra features that make it even more useful.
Cons
To be honest, I haven't really run into any issues with it and can't think of anything annoying that I dislike. If I had to mention something, it would only be that it occasionally goes down now and then which is understandable given how many people use it.

“Comfortable to use”
Pros
Realtime notifications work really well and it's handy being able to set my status to offline, away and other options whenever needed. The mobile app is also very user-friendly and comfortable to use.
Cons
From the way I've been using this software, everything has been working well overall and I haven't run into any issues.

“Simplest way to communicate”
Pros
Working with remote teammates feels much more connected with Slack. It's one of the simplest and most effective ways to communicate with co-workers and even with people outside the organization especially when everyone is spread out instead of being in one place. The platform is user-friendly, quick and responsive and it makes it really convenient to handle text chats, audio calls, video conversations and file sharing with just a few clicks.
Cons
Every now and then, the platform crashes without warning although that does seem to have gotten better with more recent software updates.

“Offers so much”
Pros
it offers so much in one place. Getting it set up is very simple and creating different channels with the right members is quick and convenient. The real-time notifications are excellent and the built-in reminder feature is the one I rely on the most for things like teammates' birthdays and monthly report runs. Sharing files is also very simple and tagging people with @ makes conversations much more organized. On top of that, the Google Calendar integration is really useful and makes day-to-day work much more convenient.
Cons
Even though Slack includes audio and video calling, that part was difficult for me to use. It seems to require a very strong internet connection and in my case it did not work very reliably or effortlessly.

“Easy to keep up with deadlines”
Pros
Keeping up with deadlines and team updates felt really simple with this app. I especially enjoyed being able to create separate channels for different types of conversations like a #fun channel for memes and a #urgent channel for important work-related messages. It made communication feel much more organized and effective overall. Really solid app!
Cons
I wasn't a fan of the donut bots that kept popping up and trying to connect team members. After a while, those interruptions started to feel a bit annoying.

“Cant do without it”
Pros
Every day, I rely on it to stay in touch with coworkers and keep remote work organized. I honestly can't imagine how I managed without it before. The Huddle feature is especially useful when we need to jump into a quick conversation, share screens and work through things together in real time.
Cons
it uses quite a bit of my laptop's resources and every now and then it makes other programs run slower.

“Nothing comes close”
Pros
Nothing else comes close for team communication. It's the fastest way to reach coworkers, keep up with threads and respond with reactions that make conversations feel more natural and fun. My team relies on it every day to stay connected. The integrations are excellent and the customization options make it simple to set up the way you want.
Cons
No complaints at all. It's been excellent and I genuinely enjoy using it every single day.

“Integrations add value”
Pros
Our team relies on it as an instant messaging app because it lets us organize conversations across different channels and groups. Setting reminders is really useful and the integrations with other apps add a lot of value. It's also very convenient to use shortcuts and jump into our other tools directly from there.
Cons
The integrations and the range of available apps could still be improved.

“top work communication tool”
Pros
Among the work communication tools out there, this is one of the best. It works especially well for remote teams and the features do a really good job of improving overall team productivity.
Cons
A few of the integrations don't add much value, the interface isn't always very user-friendly and the pricing can be too high for smaller organizations.

“Powerful integrations for team goals”
Pros
The biggest advantage for us is the integration side of Slack. It works really well for connecting our users with their OKRs and task management tools which helps keep everything aligned in one place.
Cons
The pricing becomes a real obstacle once the team starts scaling and that makes it harder to continue expanding with it.

“Connects with Jira, Bitbucket, Sentry”
Pros
There are tons of third-party integrations that make day-to-day work much more convenient like Jira, Bitbucket, Sentry and others. It also makes communicating with teammates simple and helps a lot when you need to connect with other teams across the company.
Cons
Notification system on macOS still has some problems. I've also run into cases where the server becomes unreachable for a while sometimes just a few minutes and other times up to half an hour and this seems to happen almost every week.

It feels user-friendly right away and works really well for both one-on-one conversations and communication across groups and communities. It's convenient on both desktop and mobile and overall it's just a delightful product to use. Seeing people interact, react with emojis and connect across the platform makes the whole experience feel fun and engaging.

“Direct access to clients”
Pros
Communication is fast and it gives us direct access to our clients. A lot of our clients actually prefer using it instead of Teams. Setting up dedicated groups is also really helpful since we can organize clients by group and then break them down further by project.
Cons
We haven't used the video conferencing features at all. One downside is that the left-hand sidebar can get pretty long over time. It starts to feel a bit like email when too many categories pile up and the list keeps growing. At least it does show when something farther down has an active chat.
