“My favorite messaging platform”
Pros
An excellent tool for team collaboration. It's easily one of the best messaging platforms I've used and communicating with my team about daily tasks has been a really positive experience.
Cons
From a user standpoint, one of the less appealing parts is how overwhelming the notifications can become and how distracting that is. In larger teams especially, the constant flow of alerts can really hurt focus and productivity.

“Strong communication software”
Pros
it has become a really strong communication platform and it keeps getting better over time. One of the standout additions is the new Canvas feature which has been amazing to use.
Cons
At times, it takes a bit too long to load and it can get confusing when a lot of tags, mentions and messages come in all at once.

“Comfortable interface”
Pros
It has a really comfortable interface that feels a lot like Discord and the features are simple enough for beginners to pick up quickly. One thing I especially appreciate is the threaded replies in conversations because they keep discussions neatly organized and make everything much easier to follow.
Cons
The huddle feature still needs work since it feels noticeably behind competitors like Microsoft Teams. It also doesn't offer the same all-in-one ecosystem that Teams comes with by default.

“Comprehensive communication app”
Pros
Keeping different teams connected is really convenient and the way channels are structured makes conversations feel organized. I can jump between multiple discussions without needing to switch to other communication tools or apps which makes collaboration much more smooth.
Cons
There honestly isn't much to complain about because I really enjoy using it overall. The only downside for me is the pricing especially having to pay extra for each additional user.

“Gentle learning curve”
Pros
Using it felt very simple from the start and it was simple to navigate without much of a learning curve. It worked just as well on my desktop as it did on my phone which made it really convenient to stay connected on either device.
Cons
My only real frustration wasn't with Slack itself but with how people used it. Not everyone on the team checked it or responded in a timely way and that made communication less effective. If the whole staff used it consistently, it would work really well.

“Easy to find stuff”
Pros
It is incredibly user-friendly. Creating channels and setting permissions makes it simple to manage the right audience and keep conversations organized. Features like grouping channels, starring important ones and similar tools also make it quick to find exactly what you need.
Cons
It does take some discipline to avoid creating too many chats with overlapping audiences.

“Huddle feature stands out”
Pros
The Huddle feature has been the most useful part for me since it lets us jump into a one-on-one or group call anytime we need to.
Cons
It's not a major issue but one small limitation is that I can't view more than 10 direct messages at once. If I add another one, one of the existing chats disappears.

“Amazing for remote work”
Pros
This has been the best tool for closing the gap between remote and hybrid work. It really does an amazing job of keeping everyone connected and collaborating naturally.
Cons
Data storage options could be better since I still have to reach out to the sales team if I want our data hosted in the European Union region or somewhere else.

“Productive communication hub”
Pros
it has improved communication and overall productivity for our team. We're able to set up dedicated channels for each loan file and each client so all conversations, documents and updates stay organized in one place instead of getting buried in long email chains. That alone has helped us avoid missing important details. The interface is user-friendly and the real-time messaging makes it much faster to communicate with underwriters, loan processors and other departments which helps speed up response times and decision-making. I also really appreciate the file-sharing features and how well it integrates with our CRM and Google Drive. It makes retrieving, sharing and updating client information much more efficient which leads to faster loan processing and better customer service. On top of that, the mobile app keeps me connected with clients and coworkers even when I'm away from my desk so I can respond quickly and help keep the loan process moving forward without delays.
Cons
Honestly, I don't have any real complaints about it. It feels user-friendly, dependable and fits naturally into the way I work. The features are thoughtfully built for team communication, file sharing and keeping up with loan progress and they all support our workflow well. It has genuinely boosted my productivity and made collaboration feel more efficient than ever so at this point I'm left with appreciation more than anything negative.

“Been using it for a long time”
Pros
Since 2018, I've used it both as an employee and as a freelance web developer and it's been incredibly helpful. Being able to switch between different workspaces is a huge advantage because I'm often brought into teams that already have their own setup. It makes it simple to keep conversations organized and separate from one team to another.
Cons
Never faced any issues with it. It does exactly what I need it to do and has consistently worked whenever I've needed it.

“Cool built-in calling feature”
Pros
Works really well with other systems, offers plenty of reactions and has a built-in calling feature that's genuinely useful. Threaded conversations are handled very well too and the settings give a solid amount of control.
Cons
The pricing can be a bit difficult to deal with and there are times when the "activity missing" notification stays around when it shouldn't. Managing the wording across multiple channels can also be somewhat confusing.

“Syncs with Dynatrace and Azure”
Pros
Slack has a clean, simple interface that makes communication across the organization simple. The file sharing works well and the integrations with third-party tools like Dynatrace, Azure and others are really useful.
Cons
Its frustrating trying to track down older conversations since they tend to get buried in the interface. In many cases, tagging chats feels like the only practical way to find them later.

“Feature-rich team messaging software”
Pros
Compared with the web app, the desktop version works much better for me. I really appreciate how many features it brings together in one platform. If you want your work messages all kept in a single place, it absolutely delivers on that.
Cons
I wish it handled older message management better. Looking for past messages can take forever and sometimes they still never turn up.

“Can see what my colleagues are up to”
Pros
it has been a really user-friendly, simple app for keeping communication with coworkers quick and easy. The feature I appreciate most is the automatic sync with Google Calendar since it helps me see what colleagues are up to based on their schedules.
Cons
