“Recommended for everyone”
Pros
It has become a really valuable tool for day-to-day work. It makes it much faster to connect with colleagues even when they are based in other offices or working remotely, in a way that simple email just cannot match. Being able to share large files is also a big advantage. The mobile app is another strong point since it lets you stay connected whenever you want. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it.
Cons
It's very user-friendly and honestly I haven't come across any real downsides or anything that feels like it needs improvement.

“A must needed platform to organize and manage all the conversations for your group”
Pros
The feature I appreciate the most in Slack is the ability to create multiple channels, which allows for organized and focused discussions. The mobile app's accessibility ensures I can stay connected on the go.
Cons
One issue is the learning curve,it might be difficult for new users to learn and utilize all the features. I personally experienced this difficulty in the beginning as well also the free plan offers only basic features, while the paid subscription includes all necessary features.

“An integral part of my work day that improves productivity, engagement and work culture”
Pros
The exceptional ease of use and reliability of Slack foster seamless connectivity across different time zones, enabling effective collaboration at both individual and team levels.
Cons
Slack can generate a lot of noise and needs to be logically set up to be used to its full potential. However, these limitations or drawbacks are not inherent to the product itself but rather depend on how it is used.

“A solid and diverse bridge of communication in a company”
Pros
their suitability for my job lies in its provision of a secure environment for team interactions. Offering diverse communication channels while prioritizing data security, Slack ensures a seamless experience for all users, with intuitive navigation and constant improvements enhancing its usability.
Cons
From an administrative perspective, Slack can be a bit pricey. However, as someone lower down the hierarchical line, the downside of the price is overshadowed by the inability to recover deleted data such as messages and DMs.

“Fast direct messages”
Pros
Something that really works well is being able to create multiple channels or groups with specific people. It makes sharing updates with the right coworkers much more practical when the information only needs to go to a certain team. Direct messages are also fast and it's convenient that you can attach images, documents and videos without any hassle. On both desktop and mobile, the interface feels very user-friendly so getting started doesn't require any tutorial.
Cons
The option to change the notification sound and customize the interface colors should be added.

“Reminds me of Discord”
Pros
Getting in touch with new people and sending messages quickly feels really convenient in this app. It reminds me a bit of Discord and the layout is organized well enough to move between groups and direct messages without any confusion. The Threads area is a nice spot for sharing opinions and keeping conversations focused, while Canvases does a good job of keeping meeting notes and other key details visible during meetings.
Cons
Lack of a seen status on messages sent to coworkers bothers me. When something important is sent and the other person does not reply, it can leave you wondering whether they actually viewed the message or not which creates unnecessary doubt.

“No learning curve”
Pros
Right from the first time using it, it feels quick and very user-friendly, with almost no learning curve to figure things out. It also comes packed with plenty of features that let you tailor the experience, like themes, notifications and other customization options.
Cons
Too costly for my liking. At around $50 per user each month, it can be too expensive for a lot of companies to afford seats for everyone.

“Tidy and polished”
Pros
Using it every day has been a delight for our team. It feels polished and clean and honestly works like an all-in-one hub for business communication. We've really enjoyed the editor and the integrations it offers since they've added a lot to how we work. Being able to chat across companies and even share channels between them is especially useful. On top of that, sharing files and quickly searching for anything makes it incredibly convenient.
Cons
There really hasn't been anything I disliked about it. If anything, I'd only love to see more customization options in the product. For example, being able to change fonts or make a few more interface adjustments would be a nice addition. Still, there's nothing here that feels like a real downside.

“Good quality audio conferences”
Pros
The video calls and audio conferences have really good quality and the platform is very simple to use.
Cons
It would be better to have a root directory for finding older files and I also don't like that when I try to share a large block of text like JSON, it won't let me send it directly and turns it into a text file instead, unlike Discord.
