“fantastic organization”

Pros

Navigating the whole thing has been incredibly simple and the way everything can be organized into folders and subfolders makes managing work really convenient.

Cons

There's not much to complain. The only issue I ran into was one time when it took a bit longer to load but aside from that, it's been spectacular.

Pros

Right from the start, this platform has helped keep tasks properly organized and much cleaner overall. It can be designed to the specific needs of a project which makes it more practical to use and the task monitoring features make it easier to spot anything falling behind schedule in time.

Cons

Only downside is that it can get a little expensive once you begin adding extra add-ons, such as time tracking.

Pros

Keeping tabs on projects and all their moving parts is where this software really shines. It does a really good job of helping me stay organized and see everything in one place.

Cons

Using it on a mobile device isn't as convenient and it's definitely much better to work with on a desktop.

Pros

Being able to collaborate on projects has been a big plus for us. Everyone can jump in, work together on the same project and save progress along the way which makes teamwork much more practical.

Cons

Getting around the platform was a bit confusing at the beginning but once we learned where everything was, things started to click and we're now off to a strong start.

One of the best parts is that it saves my work in real time, makes team collaboration simple and lets me assign tasks without hassle.

The part I enjoy the least is how complex it can feel at first. Once you get familiar with it though, it becomes much easier to navigate.

Right away, it felt like a very flexible platform. It gives us plenty of ways to customize worksheets and adjust them to the specific needs of each project. The sheets work well for efficient management and are simple to put into practice. The interface is very appealing and user-friendly and features like chats, notes, comments and access control make our workflow much more efficient.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve. Because the platform includes so many functions, employees who are not familiar with management software usually need a couple of days to get comfortable with it. Even with that, I still think it is absolutely worth it.

Comes with a wide set of features that makes planning, tracking and managing projects much more efficient, with a lot of the process handled automatically.

Cons

One small downside is that the iOS mobile app is missing a few features that are available on the cloud-based platform.

Pros

Managing tasks, monitoring progress and working across teams all fit really well in it. The pre-built templates save a lot of time too and it has a familiar Excel-style spreadsheet feel, except much of the formatting is already handled for you.

Cons

Getting started with it can be challenging especially for new people or teams that are not familiar with project management tools. The interface is very capable but it can feel overwhelming at the beginning. I can't really speak to the training materials since I haven't used them.

Pros

The customizability is a huge plus. We handle most of our business directly in it and it fits really well into the way we work.

Cons

A frustration has been the recent subscription changes. The updated way it decides who counts as a "member" has caused a major jump in our yearly subscription costs.

It gave me several features that Excel just didn't offer. It feels like it takes the spreadsheet concept a step further and it has some really useful functions that I rely on all the time.

Cons

Formula capabilities are definitely not one of its stronger areas. It seems much more focused on organization and structure than on advanced technical formula functionality.

What works really well here is the variety of views available. Having table, Kanban, Gantt and calendar layouts makes visual project management much better suited to the different needs of our teams.

The interface can feel a bit stiff at times and the customization side is less flexible than with some competing tools.

Only thing I'd like to see improved is the dashboards especially the default built-in graphic design options.

It handles traditional spreadsheet work really well and at the same time it's useful for more advanced project management tasks like tracking timelines, budgets and resources. The collaboration tools are a major advantage too especially shared sheets and real-time updates.

Cons

Interface can feel a little cluttered sometimes which makes it harder to quickly find what you need or get comfortable with all of the advanced features.

Having customizable dashboards here makes it simple to keep track of key metrics and oversee everything from one place. The reporting tools are especially valuable for identifying important issues quickly and helping sort them out effectively.

Cons

Setting up automations for more advanced workflows can be challenging because it requires a fairly high level of technical knowledge.

Love that it has soo many features built into it. And having all that in a single piece of software is definitely a strong point.

At times, it doesn't behave the way I expect it to especially when using the form feature.

Getting started with it was quick because the platform is very user-friendly and simple to learn. Also, the support team has been incredibly efficient whenever help is needed.

Cons

One limitation is how it handles heavier data demands. It only lets you copy and paste 500 rows at a time and once a Smartsheet hits the 50,000-row limit, you have to either remove data or create a new one.

Pros

Being able to link multiple sheets with formulas is incredibly useful and it is very simple to use overall. Our team also really enjoys the Dashboard feature along with the automated forms.

Cons

Just wish there were additional options for viewing and displaying the data.
