So far, I have not found any drawbacks to using this software. It is even relatively easy to train employees on it.

The biometric fingerprint scanner is cool, but it does not always work. It might have been an issue with our specific scanner, though.

TimeFlow is not user-friendly. I needed to manage clock ins/outs, and it was not intuitive. It seemed overly complicated and not intuitive. Generating a report was also complicated.

For our overnight employees, I wish the software could recognize that their shift might start before midnight and end after midnight. Instead, it always marks these punches as errors, as if the employee didn't clock out from the previous day.

Every time there is an update, it messes up for our employee, and she can not log in. She has to delete the program and reinstall it to get it to work again. It is very frustrating.

There is no one to actually talk to for support questions. I do not like having to communicate online only when I have a problem also, the reports menu could be improved.
