The key feature here is simplicity, coupled with seamless compatibility across devices. This simplicity of the app also extends to the API, making it a convenient tool for tracking quick tasks and activities.

Cons

While it's great for quick tasks that can be completed within a few minutes, it becomes less useful as the tasks become more detailed. It can still serve as a reminder (a paid feature) in those cases, but larger projects require more sophisticated tools.

It seamlessly syncs across all my devices, including the mobile app, making it highly versatile. The user interface is intuitive and satisfying, and I love being able to break tasks down into projects or sections within projects. It's also impressively smart, recognizing time-specific phrases like "Do something next week" and categorizing the task accordingly.

Cons

The only drawback is that I wish there was a button to quickly add a task to a section. Currently, it requires two clicks, which feels a bit cumbersome.

I rely on Todoist to manage the topics for my podcast. I have a shared list with my co-host that we can rearrange in real-time to create our episodes. Additionally, utilizing Todoist's APIs made it very easy to automatically add data to our topic list.

I am not particularly fond of the fact that, at least on the Mac, it's an electron-based app rather than a native one.

The ease of use, along with the fantastic UI and UX, is remarkable. They've covered all aspects of how people work and how tasks can be added to Todoist. Their constant product improvements are impressive, and it's great to see such an active development team.

Not much, to be honest. If I were being economical, I did say the price, but it is the cost of one coffee per month, hardly a con.

I can arrange them by priority, distinguishing urgent ones from those that can wait. Additionally, I can tag tasks for better categorization. Overall, it's an excellent tool for task management and creating to-do lists.

Cons

It takes some time to get accustomed to the UI and learn how to use it effectively. Once you're familiar with it, it actually becomes a good system, but there is a learning curve.
