Pros

I like how Todoist positions itself as a productivity app suitable for personal, work and educational use. It excellently organizes my tasks for the day and allows me to review any remaining items later. While much of its interface resembles Notion, it has been optimized for easy use on mobile phones.

Cons

Similar to Notion, it offers numerous customization options that may require some time for users to become familiar with. Additionally, a few features like Reminders and location are only available in the premium version.

When I was in need of a simple tool to organize my pending tasks, Todoist came to my rescue.

It's not that I dislike it, but advanced project management features weren't necessary at all. It would be helpful to have a "Customize UX" option to hide unnecessary menu options and focus solely on pending tasks, as was my case.

I wish I could attach images to tasks. I understand why it might not work, but I find a workaround by adding links.

Moreover, I can access it on my computer, phone, and iPad.

I've encountered a few bugs, but the team has always resolved them. Google Calendar integration isn't flawless, but it functions well.

In the Upcoming view, I would like sub-tasks to appear indented to avoid confusion with other tasks.

The app has gone offline a few times, which has been quite frustrating during my day. However, it hasn't caused any major disruptions. I can still access whatever I have saved offline, but it won't sync across devices or connect virtually.

The quick add feature is a personal favorite as it allows me to swiftly add tasks using keyboard shortcuts from any location on my Windows device.

My least favorite aspect of Todoist is the inability to directly plan tasks into my calendar within the application.
