The constant time-logging reminders are quite helpful.
The constant time-logging reminders are quite helpful.
Pros
Before integrating any software at work, a lot of the work we got done was by the sheer physical effort that made room for a lot of human error. We did a lot of things manually. So naturally, we were used to handling spreadsheets at work one at a time to monitor the time spent on daily chores and receive monthly reports. Toggl replaced it. It is simple and lightweight. It continues reminding us to log our time if we are not already, which is fantastic. Finally, it assists us in analyzing the time we spend on our work. Very useful.
Cons
There are some technical difficulties, or as I like to call them, speed bumps. Some glitches, errors, and loading times can pull you back from the speed you are working at. It can take some time for the web app and MacOS extension to sync. Projects added via the web app take too long to load in the MacOS extension. I complained about these issues, and they heard your problems because I havent had any negative experiences since then. It had a few issues at first, which took a while to solve. Only if they could be solved timely would it have been much better.

It is a simple-to-use software with responsive customer support.
It is a simple-to-use software with responsive customer support.
Pros
Ive been using this service for over a year and dont see myself using any other software in the future, so its working very well for me! Whenever Ive needed help from customer support, theyve been incredibly helpful and quick to answer. I work hourly for clients, so having a time option on jobs is useful because it allows me to estimate my duties and plan my days. Setting up and rescheduling tasks are quite simple, and I cannot express how simple and easy it has made things for us employees.
Cons
Having recurring tasks would be a good feature to offer. It can be inconvenient to generate multiple instances of the same task. My main issue is the lack of integration between Toggl Plan and Toggl Track. If you started a project on one, it would automatically move to the other, and you could start tracking time on that project. They are two unique software from two different firms. Its not the end of the world, but having anything that works together would be ideal.

Very easy to use and affordable time management tool
Very easy to use and affordable time management tool
Pros
I have a small team so I still bill my clients by the hour. The time element of Toggl really helps my daily planning and assignment of jobs to the team and myself. Tasks can be scheduled and rescheduled with ease and I use the Kanban view for that.
Cons
We have a lot of projects that involve repetitive tasks and I would appreciate it if Toggl adds a recurring tasks feature in the future. Creating many copies of the same thing is frustrating and time taking. It also lacks integration between Toggl Plan and Toggl Track, which is my main concern.

Toggl has the best free trial I have tried.
Toggl has the best free trial I have tried.
Pros
I had spoken with a few platforms and tried their free trials, but they werent what I required. There was no turning back after I discovered the Toggl Plan. It offers the high-level functionality of assigning weekly capacity, allowing me to precisely plan my weeks/months and the more detailed stages, activities, milestones, and so on that are required on an individual project level. It also allows larger teams to be included, and I can share project deadlines with my clients to track progress and ensure everyone is on the same page. It is really basic and easy to use.
Cons
Its been great using Toggl Plan. However, everything great also has some drawbacks, as nothing is perfect. The only thing that has irritated me is the hourly tasks. You must compute the daily capacity, which implies that if the phase of a project changes from four to two days but still takes the same amount of time, you must recalculate the daily hours. Designate a weekly amount of hours to a phase and have that amount remain constant regardless of whether the phase is prolonged across 1, 2, 3 days, or the entire week.
