“worked for podcast production”

Pros

Keeping our podcast production organized has been much easier! We can track every episode from the initial idea stage to booking interviews, publishing and even sharing on social media. Moving a card through each step of the process makes it simple to see where everything stands and helps us stay on schedule. Absolutely love it!

Cons

One limitation is that our workflow doesn't always happen in a perfect sequence. For instance, we might book a guest before we've written the outline and the column setup doesn't make that very easy to show. Even with that it's still completely worth using.

“Very valuable”

Pros

Getting started takes almost no effort and it's simple to begin using it right away. It's affordable, highly customizable and even when a built-in feature is missing, it works well with apps like Zapier and Integromat so you can create almost any functionality you need.

Cons

An issue is that when I first joined, more features were included in the standard account but over time those were gradually put behind paid upgrades.

Pros

The interface is very easy and user friendly which is a big reason this solution stands out as a leader for creating and using Kanban boards. It handles that core job really well and the huge range of app integrations adds a lot of value.

Cons

That said plenty of other tools already include the same core functionality as part of a broader feature set. It is definitely a well known name but aside from its integrations, it probably wouldn't be that difficult for competing platforms to catch up to its basic capabilities.

“Covers everything in one place”

Pros

Creating a card is really easy and it covers everything I need in one place: comments, links, checklists, labels, progress tracking and due dates. It's also very useful that I can set up different boards with sub-lists like draft, in progress and completed to keep work organized.

Cons

The checklist feature is very useful but one thing that bothers me is how the system automatically names each checklist after the card title such as "How to Buy a House in 60 Days." I'd prefer the option to rename checklists myself so they're easier to identify later, for example "Social Media Checklist."

“Fast workflow”

Pros

Feels very natural to start working with because the interface is extremely accessible and simple to use. It runs really fast, the notifications are clear and customizable and there's a rich variety of templates available. Adding and managing members is easy and handling multiple boards or organizations is also very convenient.

Cons

However the UI feels a little outdated and could definitely be improved. The Power-Ups are fairly limited on the free plan and would be better with a broader feature set. It would also be useful if a built in note taking feature were added.

Pros

Something I appreciate is how stable the tool feels. It doesn't come across as glitchy or janky at all and it consistently works well. The interface is simple, easy and pretty accessible to use. It also does a solid job of helping organize projects and the board format makes project management feel clear and practical.

Cons

Next to a tool like Notion, this one feels a lot less flexible. There are times when I want to reference one board from another or set up a data view that looks different from a Kanban board and that's where it falls short. As much as I enjoy working with Kanban boards, they're not ideal for every type of task and the simplicity of the software ends up limiting how adaptable it can be.

Pros

Our development team relies on this every day to manage software releases and it's very easy to use. Being able to create tasks with their own comments and checklists, while also assigning the right person to each one, makes it really helpful for monitoring release progress. It also supports plugins which is a big plus since they let us keep track of the estimated time and the actual time spent on each task.

Cons

I really don't have any major complaints, aside from the fact that you can't delete a card directly. You have to archive it first and then delete it which feels a bit unnecessary.

Pros

Using this software, I can create cards and boards and move them around however I need, switch priorities, reorder everything, add photos and a lot more. The alarms, checklists, AI features and extra tools make it a really powerful and helpful app overall.

Cons

Every now and then, notification badges show up on my iphone but when I open the app I can't always figure out where they're coming from. Aside from that, I really don't have any complaints.

Pros

Has been a really helpful tool for managing tasks and projects across our organization. Assigning work is easy and the daily completion reporting has become an important part of how we stay on top of progress. Creating a new task only takes a few clicks and it's simple to add a description, build checklists and assign it to the right user.

Cons

As the board grows larger and more people are added, it can start to feel inconvenient to manage. After reaching a certain size, the loading times also tend to slow down.

Pros

No effort needed to start off with this software and even the free basic version is really solid and usable right away. Tasks are laid out clearly and adding deadlines helps keep everything organized.

Cons

It could use better integration with other time tracking tools. The paid plans feel expensive although the free version works well enough. Assigning tasks to other people or adding them to a list also isn't the best.

“Great for ideas and teamwork”

Pros

Works really well for brainstorming and sharing ideas! It lets you collect a lot of input while still keeping everything organized enough to stay manageable. It's a really useful way to build on ideas or leave feedback. Even though it's clearly strong for virtual collaboration, I'd still want to use it when meeting in person because it keeps track of everyone's thoughts and comments so nothing gets lost the way it can in a conversation. It's also helpful for less creative projects, whether you're suggesting a task, a concept or even a policy since it leaves plenty of space for feedback and also helps track progress and completion. Since it's web based, you can access it from anywhere which is extremely convenient.

Cons

Getting started took me a couple of uses because it wasn't immediately clear where everything was or how the information had been organized especially since I was invited to an existing board rather than setting one up myself. Part of that does depend on how the user structures the board but I still felt the software could do a better job of making the layout and organization clearer.

“A really effective tool”

Pros

It works really well for separating personal tasks and keeping tabs on what's already done, what's currently in progress and what's coming up next. The different add ons also make it more powerful depending on how you want to use it. Assigning tasks, setting due dates and configuring alerts for cards or boards are all very useful features.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is the UI for new users. It would be helpful if they offered a built in 3 tier interface for beginner, intermediate and advanced users. I know something similar can be done with templates but having it available as an integrated option would be a nicer solution.

Pros

Getting information into this tool is really easy so every detail ends up in one place and nobody has trouble adding their input.

Cons

At the end of the day it still feels like a dressed up task list. That works perfectly well for about 90% of what we do but it would be much more useful for project management if it included dependencies.

Pros

Biggest strength is its flexibility and user friendly setup. You can build boards and organize workflows however you want which makes it really adaptable. It also covers a lot with both public and private boards, plus solid integration options.

Cons

Starts to fall short once the workflow becomes more complex because building a very detailed process is difficult. When more people get involved, things can become messy and harder to track.

Being able to build templates for tracking our construction jobs has been a big plus for our team and it helps keep everything organized from project to project.

Cons

The pricing is the part we struggle with. We'd really prefer a plan that supports a larger number of users at a better bulk rate.

Pros

The tool works really well because it's simple to use and I especially appreciate how focused it is for running weekly or daily SCRUM review sessions. Organizing meetings around tasks is a really effective way to save time and stay updated on what's happening across the team.

Cons

It's a solid task management option but the drawback is that it works as a stand alone project management platform. Since MS Teams, Planner and To Do have become more common, I've been seeing a lot more flexibility in the Microsoft ecosystem especially within Teams, than in using this tool by itself right now.

“quick setup”

Pros

I've worked with several project tracking tools and this was by far one of the simplest to get up and running. Our team had it set up fast without missing a step. The interface is clean, clear and very user friendly so getting started feels almost immediate.

Cons

Tradeoff with a simple tool like this one is that it doesn't offer much depth in its overall design. I wouldn't rely on it for large, complex projects with multiple layers because it just doesn't have that level of capability. Still for the average user, it's a very solid piece of software.

Pros

A fantastic way to organize just about anything! One thing I really appreciate is that it doesn't force you into one specific way of working. If a project needs to be grouped into sections by type, that's easy to do and if your workflow changes later, it can adapt right along with that. It also lets you attach comments, task lists, images and files to cards which makes it incredibly useful. Overall the software works really well as an all in one solution for a team's workflow needs.

Cons

The visuals could use some improvement. Most of the functions feel fairly basic and a more thorough tutorial would definitely help.

Pros

Task management is easily the strongest part of this app. It has helped me stay much more organized when planning my daily, weekly and monthly tasks.

Cons

Interface could definitely be better especially when I'm sharing it with someone who's new to it. They usually struggle to find their way around and it feels odd that I need to watch a video tutorial just to understand how everything works.

Pros

Works really well for software and marketing sprints because it helps the team keep track of what needs to get done and who is responsible for each task.

Cons

That said the platform feels a bit limited on its own especially compared with tools like Monday or even GitHub which come with broader built in collaboration features.
