Lovely experience

Pros

From the start, this turned out to be an awesome tool that can be used in many different ways and the tracking part is what I rely on most! If there's a task that needs to be done, you can create a card, assign it to yourself and it keeps reminding you about it. Another really nice feature is Butler which helps create quick buttons for actions like marking something complete. It's also very effective for team meeting updates because anyone on the team can check and update things directly so there's no need to send MOM after the call.

Cons

Nothing much to complain about. At first it felt like it might be a burden to use but later it proved me wrong. It's actually a very good tool.

convenient tool

Pros

We were able to run meetings in it while viewing each other's work at the same time which made collaboration really convenient.

Cons

It was oddly slow when loading files, no matter how good the internet connection was.

perfect for smaller teams

Pros

Compared with JIRA and other more heavyweight tools, this one is much simpler to understand and much faster for getting new employees up to speed. It works especially well for smaller software projects.

Cons

Its overall ecosystem isn't as advanced or as feature rich as something like Atlassian's broader product lineup. Still for smaller scale projects, it's entirely sufficient.

packed with features

Pros

Feels incredibly lightweight yet it still delivers a surprisingly powerful set of features. The keyboard shortcuts are fantastic and make it really fast to jump between cards and work inside them. If you rely heavily on the keyboard, it's especially enjoyable to use.

Cons

I'd still love to see more add ons included in the free plan although I can understand why those are reserved for paid subscriptions.

Definitely transformed our workflow!

Pros

We mostly stick to the basic boards yet every week we keep uncovering new features and new ways to put them to use. We moved our entire marketing management system into this software and went from initial setup to fully using it in about an hour. Now it's part of our daily routine for tracking projects and organizing marketing ideas. Even as just a two person team, this software has made a huge impact on how we manage our work. We also really appreciated that it offers a desktop app which ended up being one of the key reasons we chose it over several other tools we were testing.

Cons

There are probably a few minor things missing but we honestly haven't run into anything important that we needed and couldn't manage with the features already available.

Fitting for work and personal tasks

Pros

Has been really useful for sharing and discussing ideas with my team, keeping track of progress and even organizing personal things like shopping lists. It's quick, simple to work with and the offline access is a big plus!

Cons

At times I lose track when there are too many updates from teammates. I usually need them to tag me in those updates so I can find the relevant information more quickly.

helpful for remote teamwork

Pros

Comes with really useful collaboration features for project work. It has helped our team stay productive and organized while working remotely from home.

Cons

The interface feels cluttered and having too many boards makes it harder to quickly find what we need. Overall the UI doesn't feel as polished as what other apps offer.

polished interface

Pros

Right from the start the tool feels incredibly visual! The interface is polished and clean which makes everything much simpler to manage. Swapping cards, moving items around and sharing boards with my team all happen very naturally. The drag and drop setup really makes daily task tracking more enjoyable.

Cons

Even though file sharing is available including uploads and @mentions, I'd still prefer a more centralized place where I can view all the files in one spot.

I would recommend

Pros

I first ran into this software around 2014 and ever since then I've watched it get used in all kinds of ways: project collaboration within teams, coordination across departments, team outing planning, personal wedding planning and plenty more. I've even seen coworkers use it to manage their own to do lists although for that specific purpose I'd still personally lean toward a dedicated task app like RememberTheMilk or Todoist.

Cons

Honestly I can't think of much to dislike. It was one of the very first planning tools I ever used and it's still one of the top options I recommend whenever someone wants a user friendly planning solution.

love it!

Pros

Everything is very visual and easy to use. As an Operations Director, I can quickly spot tasks and projects, see which stage of the process they're in, who owns them and exactly what's going on with each one.

Cons

Even though adding items to a checklist is simple enough, it can still take a lot of time. I still haven't found a good way to quickly copy and paste checklist tasks for recurring projects.

versatile boards for every project

Pros

With our software development team, we use this as an agile tool to sort ideas into columns like 'ideas', 'nice to have', 'in progress' and 'done'. I also rely on it from a management side to track multiple projects organize agendas and plan people and schedules accordingly.

Cons

Getting the Microsoft Teams integration set up was difficult at first and I'd still love to see it connect with more tools so it feels like more than just another web app and closer to a full calendar style workspace. It does integrate with Teams but it doesn't perform nearly as well there as it does in the online version.

stays on top of tasks

Pros

Back when my boss was still typing up tasks in Office and passing them out manually, keeping everything organized was a lot harder. We moved to this software after he discovered it and that switch ended up being especially helpful once COVID hit and working from home became necessary. Now I get task updates whether I'm in Microsoft Teams, on my phone or at my PC. It helps me keep track of what needs my attention and which items are the highest priority.

Cons

Since we originally signed up through Teams, logging in takes an extra step because I have to go through my Office account first and then it redirects me to the Atlassian account. It's not a huge problem but it does make the process a little more inconvenient. I'd also like a better way to automatically include my boss when I create tasks, unless that option exists somewhere and I just haven't come across it yet.

good for team projects

Pros

This is a fantastic option for handling team projects in different formats! It gives you a lot of freedom to organize project management however you want, whether that means building out something detailed and complex or keeping it very easy. Nothing feels overly restrictive which is a big plus. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try for at least a few projects. The card system also makes it really convenient to stay on top of everything.

Cons

The free plan works well as a starting point but it definitely feels like there's a strong push toward upgrading to premium. A lot of the more genuinely useful features sit behind the paid tier and instead of paying for individual add ons, you're locked into a monthly per-user subscription. That can be harder to justify especially when some team members might go weeks without even using the software.

pricing changes hurt usability

Pros

It works well as a web based project management tool and it's simple enough for non-technical users to pick up quickly. We relied on it for several years to plan eLearning content for our platform and to coordinate design updates and revisions.

Cons

Things took a turn when there was a significant change in its pricing structure and what was included in each plan. They also removed important features we depended on without any warning. In our case we used an API to automatically generate a board whenever a web form was submitted and support for that API was suddenly dropped for our account tier. That left us scrambling to replace this tool in our design workflow unless we wanted to pay an unreasonable amount just to keep doing what we had already been doing.

Beginner friendly

Pros

Has an incredibly accessible interface and is very beginner friendly. It keeps things uncluttered which makes it much easier to stay focused on actual development work instead of spending time organizing reporting tools.

Cons

It doesn't offer the same depth of features as platforms like Jira and you'll often need to pair it with other tools to cover every project management need.

essential for daily planning

Pros

Is one of those tools I rely on every single day to manage my tasks. It's incredibly useful for keeping everything organized and planned out and I can also assign work to my team while tracking the status in real time. Without question, this software has become fundamental to the way I work.

Cons

The interface works well and includes everything I need although it does feel a little outdated visually. I'd like to see a more minimalist design but the performance is excellent.

My recommendation!

Pros

One thing that keeps me coming back is the template feature. It's very accessible and makes it simple to stay on top of all my projects. I first used it at a previous job and even after leaving, I continued using it for my own personal organization. My current company doesn't use this software but I still copy all of my tasks into it because it's so convenient and user friendly.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints about it. If anything, it's the opposite: I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

helps me keep up with requests

Pros

Using this tool has been useful for following innovation requests and bug fixes from another company I collaborate with. Whenever I send them a bug report or a product suggestion, they add it to their board. They also assign the relevant items to me which lets me keep an eye on the progress as they work through the bug fixes and start implementing the ideas.

Cons

The interface feels a bit plain to me. I'm more accustomed to MeisterTask and compared with that, this solution seems to offer fewer colors and fewer ways to separate tasks in a logical manner. As a client, I expected more features that would help me organize my own tasks and better monitor the progress of my colleagues work.

fits our workflow

Pros

Fits really well into our company's workflow. We're able to create different boards for ideas and revisit them whenever we need to. Each card can hold uploaded photos and a full written description so there's no real need to keep these projects scattered across note taking apps or email.

Cons

There's a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. To be honest I didn't really understand why we needed it when the company first started using it but now so much of our important information is stored there and visible to the whole team which makes a big difference.

Free core tools

Pros

Having the core tools for everyday task management available for free is a huge plus. And when the more advanced options are needed, the pricing still feels very reasonable. The tool has had a real impact on my daily life not just for business task management (which is my main use for it) but also for personal to do lists, reminders and even things I want to save for later like bucket list ideas. The mobile app and desktop app make it even more useful. That convenience is one of the biggest reasons I've been moving all my old Samsung Notes into this. Since the mobile app is so easy to install and keep on hand, I can access it wherever I am. Anytime something comes to mind, I can quickly note it down, create a new card or add an item in seconds. It's fast, convenient and has become an essential part of my routine.

Cons

Something that bothers me is that the desktop app doesn't support using "ctrl + f" to quickly search for words within a list. Because of that, finding certain terms is less efficient than it is in the web version and I sometimes end up opening it in my browser just to search properly which is frustrating even if it feels a bit like a minor complaint. I'd also really like a way to choose whether archived cards are included or excluded from searches because it would make finding the right task much faster. Right now I often have to open several archived cards that I no longer need. My biggest frustration though, is that you can't directly delete a card instead of archiving it first. Technically it can be done through extra steps but the process is inconvenient and takes more time than it should. I really don't understand why there isn't a easy delete option. If that existed, I'd probably use the archive feature much more productively but at the moment it just feels like a dumping ground for things I no longer need which isn't very practical.
