“remote teamwork made clearer”

Pros

Our project team brought in this tool to help manage task tracking and assignments and it's worked well for keeping up with everything. Since the team is spread across different locations and a lot of people work remotely, having one place to see activities has been really helpful. The interface is easy to navigate and gives a clear view of progress as well as who owns each task. Because it's so simple, the team was able to pick it up quickly and the browser-based access makes it especially convenient for anyone working from home.

Cons

The only real limitation is that task scheduling is still fairly basic. That said some promising beta features for timeline and calendar views have been introduced recently and they look like they'll make this part much more capable.

“Enjoyed using it”

Pros

It feels very visual, flexible and user friendly which is a big part of why I enjoy using it. There are lots of ways to add visuals too. You can show images on the front of cards, pick a fitting board background from its free stock image library or just keep things simple with solid colors. The stickers are a nice touch as well: you can place them on the front of cards to signal things quickly like a checkmark for a completed task or a happy face or thumbs up to show an idea got approved. Setting up and moving things around, whether it's cards, lists or entire boards, is very easy. The browser extension is also really useful for saving web content directly into any list on any board. On top of that it works very well for collaboration since you can add other users to boards and work on projects together while keeping track of each other's progress.

Cons

What bothers me is the browser extension when saving items from the web. Sometimes I don't want the image to appear as the card cover and I wish there were an option to switch that off during the save process or even set it as a default preference globally. At the moment, the only way I know to remove it is to open the card after saving and disable the cover image there.

“easy task control”

Pros

Much more manageable to keep track of tasks with this tool because everything is so simple. Moving priorities around takes almost no effort and it has cleared up a lot of the mental clutter that comes with trying to remember what needs to be done and when. As someone with ADD, I've found it especially helpful!

Cons

I can't think of anything about the software that I dislike. It's been genuinely helpful for someone like me.

“stay organized and on track”

Pros

Keeping everything organized is much simpler and it helps me stay on top of tasks and actually get things done when I plan to. This is definitely the way to go!

Cons

I didn't run into any issues with it. It's very functional, user friendly and works well for consistent everyday use.

It is very user friendly and does a really good job of helping us collect and organize ideas, turn them into active projects and stay on top of progress along the way.

It may not be the best fit for larger teams although I still think bigger groups could use it effectively for capturing and sorting ideas.

“works well”

Pros

Is one of those tools that goes well beyond basic task management. The feature I value most is the Kanban board. Since we run Agile projects, it really helps the team stay organized and handle tasks efficiently. The collaboration features are a nice bonus too because everyone can coordinate directly through the board. On top of the team boards, I also keep personal boards for myself. They make it easier to track important work, group tasks into categories and use visual cues to stay on top of everything.

Cons

Since boards are pretty much the main feature I use, I do not have much negative to point out from my own usage. That said it is not quite like Slack, Monday.com or Asana when it comes to tracking things such as time, budgets and other advanced needs. If that level of functionality matters, you may need to rely on another tool for it. In my case though, the boards are more than enough to keep my tasks moving forward.

“terrific boards but falling behind”

Pros

The whole setup with separate boards, lists and cards is terrific and really changed project management. It's no surprise that almost every project tracking tool has copied this approach in some way. The layout feels a lot like sticky notes on a real corkboard which makes it very practical, highly accessible and something people can start using with basically no training at all. It works especially well for getting simple tasks and smaller projects up and running quickly.

Cons

At the same time, it now lags far behind comparable tools even MS Planner which borrows a lot from this softwares concept but actually handles it better. It has been a long time since meaningful new features were added including basic ones that many users have asked for such as colored cards or the ability to assign due dates and responsible people to checklist items inside cards. The paid plans don't feel worth the price either since the focus seems to be more on visual polish than on truly useful functionality. Power ups can be helpful in theory but the documentation is weak and getting real value out of them is not very easy.

“very useful”

Pros

At first it can feel like a blank canvas which may be a little intimidating for new users. Still the core features are useful right away and there are so many ways to set up boards, cards and task lists that it can be shaped to fit almost any kind of work. I use it for planning editorial calendars, tracking yearly goals and plenty of other projects.

Cons

It definitely comes with a learning curve. Signing up for the newsletters, testing or copying the suggested project boards and spending time exploring the platform really helps you figure out how to customize this software to your own organizational style.

Pros

Getting started with it takes very little effort since the interface feels accessible right away. Assigning tasks to specific people and organizing them into categories works really well and moving cards between statuses is quick and convenient. It also helps to mark work as done, flag what's important or point out items that are close to the deadline. On top of that it does a good job of managing a few team boards at once and keeping shared information visible for everyone on the team.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is the way boards are selected or switched within the team page. At the moment, that part feels a bit frustrating and could be made more practical and user friendly.

“good to have”

Pros

Using cards makes it really simple to keep everything organized. The extra features like Google Drive integration, are also very helpful. My team can see project updates in real time and collaborate together on the same projects without any hassle.

Cons

The design and layout could be a bit more user friendly. It would also help if there were additional widgets so users could track project progress more clearly.

“Amazing integrations”

Pros

Has been the best tool I've used for planning in just about any setting or situation. With its wide range of features, it works really well for organizing and managing everything from business tasks to personal plans. I've been able to map out all of my projects both professional and personal and hit the goals I set while staying on schedule. Another thing that really stands out is how many integrations it offers with other platforms plus the option to export board data. Considering all the organization features it includes and the fact that it's free, it feels like an excellent and complete service. It's easily one of the top tools in its category.

Cons

It's such a complete service for organizing daily life and work with an impressive set of features so I really only have one suggestion for improvement. For due dates added to boards, I'd love to see a timeline style view that shows the boards arranged by date, with the details for each one displayed there.

“works well for me”

Pros

Does exactly what I need it to do: let me label cards and move them between sections without any trouble. That simplicity is really the reason it works so well since you can name both the cards and lists however makes sense for your workflow. I've also never run into problems when multiple people are using the same board. On top of that the subtask option for individual items is always useful and works pretty well.

Cons

A limitation is that the interface and board layout aren't especially customizable right out of the box although there are plenty of Chrome and Firefox extensions that can help customize it to your needs. I'd also like to see a built in way to mark progress at times. I understand the idea is to handle that by moving tasks into in progress or completed sections but having that extra flexibility built in would still be a nice addition.

“project tracking tool”

Pros

Our team is using the free version to organize department projects as well as work involving a third party company. It's very user friendly, the labels are laid out in a convenient way and the boards can be customized really well depending on the project being tracked. It's also simple to move things around and reorganize tasks when project details shift quickly.

Cons

This could be user error but I haven't been able to find an undo button and the keyboard shortcuts didn't seem to work for undo either. I'd also like to see a few more dynamic labeling options and having grouped sections within notifications would be a helpful addition.

“Keeps projects on track”

Pros

Running projects has been a huge help for our team. We can set up boards by department or by project, assign tasks to specific owners, add due dates, attach files or images and organize everything with color coded labels such as Not Started, In Progress, On Hold and Complete. The platform feels very user friendly and accessible and moving cards between different stages of the board is simple and works really well.

Cons

Honestly there is not much to complain about. The only real issue I've noticed is that once comments start piling up on a card or multiple files and images get attached, it becomes difficult to tell what activity is new versus old. Because of that important updates can be missed which may lead to confusion or delays.

“productive teamwork”

Pros

Back in 2012, a few of our projects were already using this tool but as a company we didn't really pay much attention to it until COVID-19 pushed us into remote work. Since then, it has become part of our daily routine thanks to its built in project management features and shared to do lists. Being able to clearly see who is responsible for what has improved our productivity and even helped us stay more competitive in a positive way.

Cons

Something I'd change is the stickers feature. Without it the software would feel more focused on work and less distracting. Co-workers can overuse stickers pretty quickly and that can easily interrupt the workflow.

“versatile boards for everything”

Pros

It is really user friendly and works well for all kinds of personal and business setups. I've been able to use it for things like cooking notes, homeschool planning, team assignments at work, reading lists and plenty more. Moving cards from one board to another is simple and I also enjoy being able to add different backgrounds to each board.

Cons

I'd still love to see more add on options for boards. Right now the number of add ons available to users feels pretty limited.

“quick setup and instant tasking”

Pros

Getting started with the softwae is incredibly simple and bringing new people on board takes almost no effort. There's barely any setup involved so you can jump in and start creating tasks right away.

Cons

One drawback with this is that its functionality around reporting and tracking is fairly limited. It works well for managing daily tasks but it falls short when it comes to delivering the kind of higher level insights executives usually need.

“All in one!”

Pros

This tool has saved me a lot of time because I no longer have to search around for important login details, affiliate links, content, pictures and everything else that used to be scattered across my desktop or buried in files. It's very simple to use, keeps everything in one place and the best part is that it has helped me finally get all my stuff organized.

Cons

Honestly I'm a very satisfied and happy user. It's really simple to use, the features fit my needs perfectly and I also really enjoy the integrations with other apps.

“handy power-ups”

Pros

A real positive experience using this tool has beenbecause it's simple to work with, portable and lets you view or update your dashboard from any mobile device. You can turn on power-ups to add more functionality to your dashboard which makes it even more useful. It's also easy to share, quick to set up and helpful for keeping track of people and their progress. I also appreciate being able to create custom reports since the layout is clear and easy to read. Another plus is how simple it is to keep the main dashboard clean by removing tasks that are already finished.

Cons

I'd still like to see more templates available along with the option to create our own templates. It would also be helpful to have video functionality included. On top of that integration with Microsoft Project would be a valuable addition.

“accessible task organization”

Pros

Using this software feels very easy thanks to its user friendly design, strong UX and the way it helps organize tasks and projects for any organization in an accessible manner.

Cons

At times the UX doesn't fully match what users need although that only happens rarely. The default layout also stays the same and there are moments when more personalization would be appreciated.
