Fitting for daily planning

Pros

Works a lot like a digital post it manager. It lets you build custom workflows quickly and start filling boards with cards and details right away. It's a really useful tool for organizing tasks and keeping up with them every day.

Cons

The downside was the lack of the reporting we expected to track the overall progress of the project which led us to build our own internal tool and eventually stop using this :/

productive boards with smart automation

Pros

Has been a really helpful tool for boosting my productivity and keeping up with my daily work, plans and projects. One of the reasons I enjoy using it so much is the free plan: you can get started without paying anything or even entering a credit card. It's honestly one of the better tools available for staying on top of tasks, saving time and building out a to-do list quickly. I can invite my virtual assistant, create a team and everyone can follow the tasks without confusion because the Boards, Cards and Lists are simple and well organized. I'm able to create as many cards as I need and I also like that I can set up custom buttons that show up on the back of each card. It helps me schedule my work, manage tasks better, save time and stay organized consistently. I also enjoy being able to change the board background to any image I want, like a motivational background to stay focused and productive. Favoriting boards makes them quicker to access and if needed, I can search for any board through the search box. Another useful feature is that I can still view closed boards and go back through them one by one whenever I want. I also appreciate the Automation tips and the way the tool lets you turn boards into an automation system with just a few clicks by creating simple rules. Also I can make my boards more fun by adding cool or funny stickers and they even let you upload custom stickers too. The template option is also useful and saves time. The support team is one of the best parts, they respond quickly and the website itself includes plenty of tips, examples and step-by-step guides.

Cons

As my boards grow larger, it sometimes becomes difficult to see and manage certain cards clearly. It would help a lot if the tool added something like horizontal pages or sections such as page 1, page 2, page 3 and so on. I also think the platform could use a better way for team members to communicate directly like built-in live chat or other messaging options inside the boards. Another thing I don't care for is the "More from Atlassian" section since it feels more like promotion for other tools that I personally don't need. The Templates section could also be expanded because I'd like to see more choices there. Desktop notifications are inconsistent too sometimes they arrive late and other times they don't show up at all. The software could also improve the "Team Type" section in Invite > Create Team by adding more category options. I'd also like to see more apps available in its integrations instead of mostly just the most popular ones online. On the design side, I can't resize stickers on cards and there also aren't that many sticker options to choose from.

gives us what we need

Pros

At a glance, this software gives us exactly what our agency needs for project management. It's very visual so we can instantly tell where each project stands in development alongside every other project, who's handling it, what's already been completed, what still needs attention and the estimated timeline for finishing it.

Cons

It's probably not the best fit for anyone who prefers more traditional project management charts.

organized workflow encouraged

Pros

Keeping projects in order became much simpler and it's been a big help for staying organized. Referring team members also unlocks the premium plan which gives access to extra features. I use it every day in my agency work across all of my clients and I've arranged my boards so I can move projects through each stage until completion. Since I tend to forget things quickly, I write down every small detail there and that really helps me stay focused and on track.

Cons

Honestly, I don't have many complaints because it does exactly what I need it to do. They do offer a calendar plugin that can work as a social media calendar but I'd still prefer to see a dedicated social calendar built directly into the platform.

Effective Kanban style boards

Pros

The Kanban style boards are really effective for keeping track of both current tasks and upcoming work. Moving cards from one column to another feels easy and it also offers a useful set of integrations with other services.

Cons

Problem I've run into is with the GitHub integration when I use this in Chrome (which is how I usually access it). Interestingly that issue doesn't seem to happen in the desktop app.

team coordination made better

Pros

Handling events and projects feels effortless with this and it also makes sharing information across the team much simpler. I brought it into my department when I started and it has boosted efficiency in so many parts of the way we work.

Cons

Honestly nothing comes to mind. It has covered everything I've needed this tool to do.

versatile boards for everything

Pros

Between client work and home projects, this has become my go to for keeping everything organized. I use it to manage a client list with lots of moving pieces and it makes my to do list simple to review and balance. It's also where I keep track of goals and those back-burner ideas that I'm not ready to tackle yet. On top of that we use it at home too, for everything from grocery lists to household project planning.

Cons

One thing I'd still love is a more accessible Gantt or flowchart-style view. I wish I could move items around on a calendar as freely as I can within the lists. It may just be something I haven't figured out yet and maybe there's already a solution out there but I'd definitely like to see that improved.

Customizable

Pros

Keeps things simple while still giving you plenty of flexibility. The standard Kanban style board setup works well for basic task management or even just keeping track of ideas. Once you start using it with clients or teammates instead of only for your own tasks, the collaboration features become especially useful. On top of that, the Power-Ups and extra add on features extend the core functionality and make the platform even more capable.

Cons

The part I like least is the homepage. It starts to feel messy and hard to manage once you're working across multiple boards at the same time. Since that page is supposed to give you an overview of everything in your account, it would be much more useful if it were customizable but it really isn't. You can't filter it to show only the information that matters most, like just Board A from Team 1 or Board XYZ from Team 2. Instead, it ends up being more of a running timeline of everything. From a project management standpoint, that's not very practical because some projects need close attention while others only need an occasional check-in. And, like any project management tool, it also loses its value if nobody else is actively using it.

powerful integrations

Pros

The kanban board is my favorite part though it also offers other templates and views that you can build around different workflows. You can assign tasks to teammates, set due dates and share boards with other people whether they are users or not. The more time you put into learning what it can do, the more you can customize it to fit exactly what you need. It also comes with plenty of integrations that really expand what the platform can handle.

Cons

There is definitely a bit of a learning curve if you want to use it really effectively. Depending on what you need, it can be as basic as working from a sample template or as advanced as building out a more complex setup with Power-Ups which are mostly paid add-ons. The free version is solid and gets the job done but the paid plan gives a noticeably better experience and helps you get more out of it overall. Even with that, it still feels well worth the cost.

project organization win!

Pros

Project management and organization feel easy and it works well whether you're running a startup, handling a single project or managing something much larger. It's also customizable enough to fit different workflows and needs.

Cons

The free version could be improved with a few added features especially task dependencies, stronger integrations with other services and built-in analytics.

Useful add-ons

Pros

Doesn't take much effort to start working with. Once you're up and running, the power ups plus third party browser extensions and userscripts add a lot more depth when you need extra flexibility.

Cons

It is still missing a few basic collaboration features that most of us already expect from tools like Google Docs such as edit history and real-time co-editing.

I use it for a lot!

Pros

There are tons of useful ways to use it for managing and tracking projects, tasks, issues that need attention and plenty more. I use this on my own as well as with teams and it's incredibly helpful to see where everyone is in a process or to collaborate together. Especially now that so many people work remotely, it does a lot to keep projects moving and making progress in a digital work environment.

Cons

There isn't much I dislike and they've been making solid improvements to add more flexibility and customization. One thing that still could be better is the ability to work with and move multiple cards at once. Right now, having to move or copy cards one by one is pretty frustrating. Aside from that, this has been an excellent tool.

Excellent tool!

Pros

From the moment I was introduced to it, I understood how everything worked almost right away. It's very accessible, incredibly simple to use and overall an excellent tool.

Cons

My only complaint is the limitation in the free plan on how many boards you can create. I just wish it gave a bit more room to make additional boards.

quick setup for small teams

Pros

Getting started with the software takes very little time which makes it a strong fit for small teams, smaller projects or even keeping personal work organized. It helps turn a basic task list into a clear, structured workflow that supports collaboration and consistency. Compared with JIRA, it is faster to learn and much simpler to set up. The UX on both web and mobile feels user friendly for people who are brand new as well as those with more experience. The software also works well as an alternative to Asana and can easily fill that role.

Cons

Once the team or project gets larger, the software becomes much more difficult to scale effectively. It does not feel as efficient for managing bigger development teams spread across multiple separate projects especially when compared with JIRA. When there are a lot of moving parts, it can be harder to keep a strong sense of control over the project. Reaching a more advanced level with the software also took time since I had to figure out the product and learn more efficient ways to use it. It often feels like there is no single best way to structure or use the software.

fantastic visual workflow tool

Pros

Right away, the software stands out for having a very easy interface. It makes the platform quick to understand, even for employees with different levels of technical experience. It's also really strong when it comes to workflow management especially because everything is presented visually and supported by the built-in workflows inside the app.

Cons

There are a few limitations that can become inconvenient from time to time. While the platform is designed to handle large lists and more complex workflows sorting and filtering can get difficult once those lists grow too much. There are some workarounds through integrations but that may require the organization to move up to a more expensive plan.

Fitting for live deal tracking

Pros

Has been excellent for keeping even the smallest details organized. We pushed it pretty hard, with checklists running into the hundreds of items and it still worked really well for getting an instant view of exactly where a deal stood at any given moment. That visibility is incredibly valuable, as long as the team keeps everything updated. The newer feature for assigning tasks to specific people with due dates was something we had been waiting on for a long time and it's been a very welcome addition.

Cons

The biggest gap for us was reporting. We needed a way to consolidate the information and share it with executives but pulling that together had to be done completely by hand. There was also a feature called Butler that helped highlight bottlenecks in the pipeline by showing how long a card sat in a column which was really useful. The problem was that it was priced per user so it ended up being far too expensive for the 100 people who needed access to that data. If that insight had been included as part of the reporting instead, we definitely would have continued using it. The functionality itself was very good, just overpriced.

handy templates

Pros

It won me over with its simple setup, highly customizable interface, useful project templates that save me a lot of time and its integrations with Google Docs and the other platforms I use regularly.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is more integrations included in the free plan since the freemium version currently limits access to only a small number of apps.

visual task management

Pros

For what I need, the software works well. It gives me a clear visual way to manage projects and tasks and it handles that job nicely. Adding attachments to cards is easy, bringing other users in is simple and moving cards between boards is convenient.

Cons

At times though, it can feel a little outdated to navigate. I still catch myself having to look up or remember how to handle some pretty basic admin tasks.

Pros

Feels easy to get started with and the extra features and plugins make it even better by expanding what it can do. The team functionality is also a big plus and helps a lot when working together.

Cons

The only real drawback I'd mention is the learning curve. Even though it's fairly simple to learn overall, there will always be some people who have a harder time adjusting to a new tool.

Pros

Its user friendly design and quick, easy task management make it a top choice for many project managers working with small to mid-sized teams.

That same simplified approach means it misses a lot of category-specific features that are helpful for certain very specialized tasks.
